The tech who installed the thermostat did not disclose that the heat function would not work with my heating unit. When they were supposed to check my AC unit/tune it up they did not seem to check the freon levels because, two weeks after, the unit froze up. When we had asked him to look at the AC unit he was not willing to do so.

Rick Jr. came out within 3 hours after I called and he found a known issue with my unit where a 5-minute delay had failed after a power surge. He bypassed it entirely because it was an unused component, and had the unit up and working again within 45 minutes. I was only charged for the service call; no parts or additional labor. I've been calling these guys for about 2.5 years since I first contacted them for maintenance via Angie's List. They've been out for maintenance 2 or 3 times, and this was the 2nd service call. Rick Jr. has never been late, never taken long to find a problem, and has never charged me for anything unnecessary.

Service as always with this company is outstanding. I called him late on a Friday night and he was there almost immediately to repair my Mother's unit. Outstanding! I will continue to use this company for our A/C and heating needs.

We have had such good service from this provider that we continue to contact Rick year after year for our A/C and heating needs. We are having Rick out again this week for our annual A/C check and summer prep.Summer

The technician checked/ tuned up both air conditioning units for my house. I was hoping to get a discount for the second one, but I didn't get any further discount. I thought maybe there would be a discount because the technician could do both in one trip. The services were done as stated.

It was a quick and easy process. Tech arrived and got right to work on the deal.

Called A/C services about my A/C not blowing cold air. Had a tech at my house in less than an hour. Tech (owner's son) Rick Jr. quickly diagnosed and fixed problem. Checked other things (Freon level, cleanliness of outside unit and control unit etc..). Recommended some work but advised me on how to do things myself to save money.

The inspector was on time, clean, professional and efficient.

I purchased a 16 year old condo in need of help i July 1st. I had the ac checked in August because the unit ran almost 24 hours a day. That company (not the one I am writing this review about) told me that the outside unit was too small for the condo (one ton) and I should consider replacing the 6 year old unit. But he did "everything he could" and replaced a small part on the inside air handler. I got an estimate on a new ac unit...$5000. It would have to wait. I bought the thermostat BIG DEAL when my current thermostat went dead and changing the battery didn't revive it. I also wanted a programmable thermostat to help lower my energy bill. Since the weather was beautiful, it wasn't an emergency. They worked with me on setting a date. The tech showed up on time. He quickly changed out the thermostat. When he started servicing the inside unit he commented that he found a problem with the flow rate change (or something like that). When he checked the outside unit he found it low on freon and a slightly loose connector cable. With those things fixed, the flow rate was better. When I told him what the previous tech told me, he said the unit was a 1.5 ton and fine for my condo. Apparently the other tech (again a DIFFERENT company) looked at the wrong outside unit, there were 3 in a row. I did have to pay additional for the freon, but that is what I expected in August too. Overall a nice guy, family run business. I will definitely call him again when I need help.

Based on my first and only use of a Contractor on Angie's list, I have not used another Contractor from this list in fear of having a similiar experience. Angie's list is not a comprenhensive list of contractors in the Jacksonville area. I have been looking for contractors to replace siding on my home, repair window frames, etc.

Excellent! I had had a bad experience with a Groupon coupon before, and I was expecting to be scheduled sometime next year. However, Mr. Cicero scheduled me within the week. He was very professional, yet friendly. As stated above, I subsequently called him out, and he didn'[t even charge me. I will definitely continue to use Rick Cicero.

Overall, the technician was knowledgeable, efficient, honest and polite. He was on time and performed the checkup without rushing, and advised me that it might be better to buy inexpensive filters that breathe better, and change them every 3 weeks instead of purchasing the more expensive filters. I'd had a problem the previous week with the drain backing up, but I had resolved that by vacuuming it out from outside with a wet-dry shop vac. I mentioned this to the technician and he applied some tablets that would help keep mildew from backing it up again. No additional charge. We arranged for the company to contact me in six months for another checkup. I wasn't charged anything additional and no attempt was made to tack on services or parts.

RICK JR , THE OWNER'S SON , DID A GREAT JOB. HE WAS COURTEOUS KNEW WHAT HE WA DOING. HE CLEANED AND SERVICED THE UNIT, ADDED 3# OF FERON, ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS, DID NOT TRY TO SELL ME THINGS I DIDN'T NEED. WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.

I moved into the house a year ago and never had the air conditioner checked. Thursday evening, 5/24/2012, the air conditioner kept stopping and starting. I called Rick to schedule a maintenance check. He was recommended to me by a friend and I saw his excellent reviews on Angie's list. Rick told me he was booked up until Tuesday, so we scheduled it for then. Friday night, 5/25/2012, the air conditioner just shut off completely. I called Rick Saturday morning, and left a message that my air conditioner was not working at all and if he could fit me in that would be great, if not I would see him on Tuesday. Rick called back right away and said that they would be out to look at it in the early afternoon. Rick's son came out and he found the blown fuse right away and checked the system to find the cause, which was wires rubbing together. He was very professional and couldn't have been nicer. I was only charged $80 for the service call, which happened to fall on a Holiday weekend. I can't say enough about the wonderful service I received! I plan to have Air Conditioning Services check the unit every 6 months to prevent future problems. Thank you!!

Fast and painless!! I will definately be using this company from now on.

They do an excellent followup, and they are very fair. They are very responsive. They call afterhours and on the weekends.

I called Air Conditioning Services at around 9:45am and the "owner" answered the phone in a very friendly & professional manner. My heating unit was making excessive clicking sounds and would not turn on. After I explained to him the issue that I was having he said that they had a couple of other jobs ahead of me and be happy to come and take look at my issue with my unit. He and his son arrived at my house at 11:00am and fixed my problem in less then 10 minutes!! Everywhere else that I called they either didn't answer the phone or their diagnostic fee was far too steep for me. I went with this company because they are 'Family owned' and ALL of their reviews have been nothing but excellent ones of the type of service that they have provided. I am happy to be yet another one. They replaced my blower fan manager for $225 minus a $50 OFF coupon for being an Angie's list customer!!! I didn't even know that they had a coupon and the owner was so honest and nice and told me that it would still apply to me. I will not only recommend these gentlemen I will ONLY use them for as long as I am a homeowner! Angie's List is SO Awesome and it is worth every cent! My unit was not cooling properly. I called Air Conditioning Services after hours and spoke with Rick. He was very courteous on the phone. He asked me questions to make sure if it was something I could do myself, check the breaker. When it was decided that was not the problem. He made and appointment that worked with my schedule. He came to my place at the scheduled time and was very efficent and informative. I learned how to better take care of my unit myself and save enery costs. Turned out I needed a new filter and problem solved.

They are fabulous. They are family owned. They are very reliable. They come on the time they said they would come; you don’t have to sit and wait for the repairman. They are great. In winter they had shoe covers on to come in the house. They are wonderful. I would absolutely use them in the future.

We’ve never gotten anything but exceptional service from them! They are prompt, professional, and reliable. I think their prices are reasonable, and their employees always clean up after themselves thoroughly. I highly recommend this company!

It is so nice to call a company and get a live persona not be placed on hold right away. I called Rick and right away he answered my call, and had me on his schedule right away. Rick and Rick Jr arrived on time and were very professional and friendly. I appreciated their rapid response especially in this busy season. They diagnosed the problem and made sure they explained exactly what needed to be done so I understood the needed repairs. They did not try to sale us things we did not need. Rick even took time to show me how to prevent such problems in the future and how to do some in between maintenance on my system. We were very impressed with their professionalism, their integrity and their expertise in the industry. More importantly, we felt like we had an old friend servicing our unit, someone we can trust.

I found this company in Angies List and I liked what I saw. Also visited their web site and, again, liked what I saw. I called and spoke to Rick, told him I was having trouble with my A/C. He came out, analyzed the problem and offered to do what he could to repair the unit. He pointed out what problems I had with it and we agreed it would be wisest to replace it. He and his son arrived precisely when he said they would and did a beautiful job for us, including some things they didn't have to do. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

Accu Temp Heating came right away when I called. I would recommend them to anybody. They completed the work in a timely manner. They were very polite and courteous. He even gave me his cell phone # in case something went wrong over the weekend.
