Have two in floor high security safes. Both closed and locked without keys when I bought the house. I called the manufacturer to get replacement keys. After a couple months of run around, they finally sent the keys, but unfortunately the keys didn't work. I then called a local locksmith for advise. I was immediately told I would probably need to replace both safes. Wrong answer! Frustrated, I checked Angies List (first time user) and found A1A Lock and Key. I called and set up an appointment for the next day. Brett from A1A arrived on time and was not only able to get into both safes, but was also able to replace both locks at a very reasonable price. WOW! I was really impressed! Courteous and professional. I will use A1A Lock and Key from here on out for all my lock and key needs. And highy recommend them to others.

Wow! Walked him around and told him what I wanted/needed... he suggested a cheaper and better path to take. Explained everything that he was going to do, did it quickly and professionally and left. I highly recommend A1A Lock and Key.

So glad I checked Angie's List first! We changed some door hardware and had all locks rekeyed. Zachary was nothing but professional every step of the way from the first contact by phone, to coming out for the estimate, and when he actually did the job. Everything about the work was as he estimated from cost, to when the hardware was available to when he'd get the job done and he was not only professional but informative as well. He was on time and called when the hardware was in to schedule the work and called when he was on the way both for the estimate and the day the job was done...truly appreciated! There were no surprises. I can see why this company gets the highest rating! Highly recommend and would not hesitate to use again. Thanks Angie's List as this was truly an A+ experience !

The locksmith arrived on time and diagnosed the problem. The lock had been discontinued in December due to malfunction of the tumblers. He replaced the tumblers and now the lock works great! Very professional--would highly recommend!

Not much to tell, I made an appointment they came, worked, and left with no complications on re-keying two locks in about 30 minutes.
Called and asked if they could perform the requested service earlier than the scheduled appointment. Completed the job in less than 30 minutes with no complications. Very reasonable on pricing as well. Highly recommend!

A1A Lock and Key have been on the beach forever. I needed to have six locks re-keyed. I shopped around (HomeDepot, Turner, etc.) and found the going rate at approximately $5/cylinder. A1A's price was $9/comparatively. I decided to go with A1A versus their competitor(s) because I was confident A1A would do it right the first time and I wouldn't have to make another trip to have the locks "adjusted" or worse re-keyed again. I've been using Angie's List for a few years and feel it's important to note: Zac at A1A Lock and Key re-keyed six cylinders in 14 minutes-that's right, 14 minutes. The locks/cylinders are perfect with NO ISSUES. Yes, A1A Lock and Key are more expensive, but for the extra $24 in my case, it was well worth having it done right the first time.

The lady on the phone was very friendly, helpful. They fit me in within 48 hours of my call. The gentleman was punctual and worked efficiently. There was some clean-up to do when he was done, but overall everything was neat. He rekeyed all of our doors, had to replace two locks, and had to refit two deadbolts that had been previously installed wrong. The quality of work was very good, and he had some good advice for us regarding equipment. He did not try to upsell us to something we really did not need. I will use them again.

I spent $60 on that work. They did not take long to do the work. I checked around and their prices were higher which is why I went with this company. They did what they said they were going to do and showed up. They went directly and fixed it in 10 minutes. They did not do anything wrong and met my requirements. I thought that the service cost of $49 for 10 minutes was high, but that price was lower than the other companies.

Locksmith called me as requested to let me know that he was on his way so that I could meet him. He was there when I arrived and already at work. When I called to arrange for service, they were courteous, efficient and brought up the issue of a master key for a condo association that I had not thought of.
