Our focus is tree preservation. in many cases we are able to restore the health and vigor of valuable specimen trees that are in decline or are experiencing physiological disruption due to environmental stress, saving the customer time, money, and of course the tree itself. Options like these are rarely offered by other companies when their focus is only cutting production (get it on the ground, get it in the truck and get to the next job). There are many so called arborists and tree surgeons out there who are completely unfamiliar with proper cultivation and maintenance practices and few, if any, have a well grounded knowledge of tree biology. A good arborist must understand the tree and its needs before embarking on a program of care; and just as in medicine, prescrption before diagnosis is malpractice. As a team of tree care specialists, nothing bothers us more than seeing perfectly good trees go to waste at the hands of negligent tree services companies. Owner was very knowledgeable and someone that we and quot;wouldand quot; have hired if he kept his word.
At the time of our meeting my wife and I explained that we may need to adjust the scope and timing of the project due to the high cost of his company's services.
The informed us that he was happy to be flexible with regard to and quot;whatand quot; project and and quot;whenand quot; it took place, which is why we were in no rush to schedule.
We recently called the company to request using the coupon to remove a dead tree on our property.
The owner informed us that he was unwilling to honor the coupon due the fact that it had expired, even though he had previously informed us that he was and quot;flexibleand quot; with regard to and quot;whatand quot; and and quot;whenand quot; we used the coupon for.
It's unfortunate that the owner of this company refused to honor his promise.
We would not recommend engaging this company for any services.

"Had the pleasure of meeting customer for the initial estimate. During our conversation at that time, stated to them "if you are looking for our trees to be butchered (hacked), I'm not the company for you." This is because we are certified, trained Arborists who care and maintain trees after other 'dudes with chainsaws" damage trees (unknowingly). Paid for customers permit tree removal in advance. Knew before we arrived that the customer had purchased a coupon, but then provided customer a larger discount than what was being offered, addition $50 value. Would have happily provided stump removal service, although it was never asked, suggested, or requested. Walked customer through the entire job after completion asking if everything is satisfactory or if anything needed further attention. We received approval from customer while on their property. Customer said "you guys did a great job!". Was given a tip which was very nice of them (her). Was never contacted, either by phone, email, nor through Angie's List to ever know they were newly unhappy. First time knowing they became unhappy was after getting this Angie's List Review. We then Contacted Customer via email in response to the unhappy Angie's List review. Never heard back. Based on the happy events which occurred during the job and then the unhappy review on Angie's List; we think the two homeowners were at odds as only one homeowner was present during the entire process (estimate & day of job completion), and that homeowner was very happy during the process, even the tip says alot. So, we understand that sometimes a spouse wanted something different, but we have not been given any opportunity to fix or communicate this issue. Kept their yard perpetually clean. No damage to any of their shrubs, not even their grass. It sprinkled for a short amount of time, we even cleaned up the sawdust on the concrete driveway so that the light rain would not stick the sawdust to the driveway. Took all the care possible, gave it our best job. Tried to communicate upon reading the review. There's nothing more we can do. Wishing the customer the best and we are available if they wish to contact us."
