I finally called 1-800-BADCOCK and found out that the part has been at the store since some time in December. It is now January 15, 2014. When I called the store prior to this call the young girl who claimed to be the manager was very rude and hung up on me. These people have been extremely rude AFTER the purchase. I will never go to another BADCOCKS. My husband suffered several cuts from trying to pull the broken part on his recliner. Right now I am on hold listening to this recording saying after "over 100 years of treating people right"...blah, blah, blah. I just talked to Christina at 1800 BADCOCKS and she assured me there will be a work order done. Someone will contact me tomorrow. Follow up tomorrow.
Description of Work: We bought a new home in the area and found all we needed in furniture at our local Badcock's. The Sales man there was very nice and very helpful. We felt the prices were reasonable. About 6 months after we moved in I started noticing the quality of the furniture was not that great and when a cheap plastic handle broke off and cut my husbands hand, I called Badcock and was told it was going to take 6 weeks to get the part. Well here it is now three months later and i'm still waiting.
