Description of Work: Placed order for Flexsteel leather motion reclining furniture. Once home, realized the sofa and chair were not the correct fit for our home. The manager allowed us to cancel the order, place a new order for another comparable set of Flexsteel leather reclining furniture. There was no cost penalty imposed. He also rectified a misunderstanding which developed with our sales person. Excellent quality furniture as well as customer care.

We found one we liked. A salesman named Frank priced it for us. It was part of a multi piece unit, so we inquired about the pricing for different combinations of pieces. We liked it, but it was more than we could spend even after he quoted us his "bottom line bargain" price. We thanked him and left to continue our shopping at another store, but had second thoughts and went back in to try one more combination that we were hoping might work out for us. He quoted a price and it was still higher than we expected. When we thanked him again and told him we would think about it, he proceeded to insult us by telling us to just go buy some cheap furniture. He insinuated that we wasted his time, telling us that we took him off the floor twice and it lost him money to answer our questions when we weren't serious. I was so glad that we had not proceeded with a purchase when he showed such rudeness towards a potential customer. I will not be going back there with any of my furniture needs.

The owner, Bruce, was great. I went into the store and knew what I wanted. Bruce and I negotiated and I purchased a large, high-end leather Flexsteel sectional. Had problems with setting up delivery. Told pieces were "on the truck" but later would find out the furniture didn't arrive. Pieces finally arrived from factory a few weeks later than they said they would. Did a poor job communicating to me when furniture was ready for delivery. I had to call numerous times. Dates/times for delivery very rigid. I had to go out of town for two weeks on a Sunday. Tried to get the furniture delivered the week before but Tarpon Furniture claimed they could not delivery since they wouldn't be in my "area" until the following week. Couch sat in their warehouse until I was back in town weeks later. When pieces arrived, center console had a staple sticking up under the leather. Tarpon Furniture quickly sent out a service tech. They wanted to repair the piece. Once the leather was peeled away from it by the tech, I noticed the wood under the center console compartment was split and barely hanging on with about 20 staples. Bad QC at Flexsteel on this piece. Tarpon still wanted to repair. I called Flexsteel and they quickly agreed to replace. You would have though Tarpon Furniture would have tried to replace through Flexsteel on their own. Horrible service every step of the way. Poor communication with the customer regarding status of delivery. Never contacted me when the replacement console from Flexsteel was delivered to Tarpon's warehouse. I finally had to reach out to Tarpon after nearly three months. Piece was sitting in their warehouse all along probably for months. Set up a date to deliver piece. No show. Not even a phone call. I still don't have replacement console so I guess I'll take more time to reach back out for the status of the piece. Time I'll never get back. Thanks Tarpon Furniture for making me work so hard after shelling out nearly 7K on a couch. Never again!
