"Our sincerest apologies that you feel your job was installed incorrectly. I did review you contract dated June 6, 2014, and it was clearly stated that we were ONLY contracted to "fur out ceiling with wood" - the access was already in place, so there was no movement of the entry by our Crew Members. We were also contracted to paint an exterior deck. During the time of painting, it was noted that the condenser line of the home's AC Unit was dripping onto the fresh paint causing immediate damage to the area. Our installers and our office staff contacted you regarding this concern in efforts to seek immediate action to help resolute the situation; however, you were not able to attend the vacant property until the following day. In the assumption via your phone conversation and in all efforts to cure the problem at hand, the home was entered to shut the AC Unit off so the water drip from the condenser would not cause damage to the freshly painted deck. You did provide a sketch done by yourself or your husband, but again these drawings are only able to give guesstimated figures. We are sorry to hear you are not pleased with your estimate given to you based on your hand-written sketch, but we do take pride in providing quality estimates and when looking at a project of this caliber it is difficult to pose exact figures, which is what you asked, based on hand-written sketches. We feel, especially since the areas you requested were majority for the use of your two young boys, you should obtain proper plans when requesting exact figures for your project. In order for us to guarantee our work, craftsmanship, and provide you the 2-year labor warranty we do replace all portions of the gutter that are asked to be installed. Yes, downspouts are included when calculating the required linear footage - this is standard industry practice for any seamless gutter company since it is material used and installed just like the roll coil to create the seamless gutter runs. We are very sorry to hear of your complaints and concerns after the improvement was installed - since it is impossible for us to clarify or rectify ANY concerns or complaints after the fact. "We apologize for any confusion. It was explained by Nick, upon initial estimate, that the 5" gutter you requested was a special order material. We specialize in 6" and 7" gutter, as it states on all of our advertisement. We were happy to help you out and oblige your request for 5" gutter, yet it did require a 5" gutter run for special order. Upon the initial arrival of our crew, they were prepared with the correct tools; however, they did not arrive with the correct special order material - this WAS an over sight on our part and we have no objection to take full blame for this oversight. From this point, Nick contacted you regarding the back order of material issue and told you personally that the work would not be scheduled until the special ordered material was in our shop. However, you cancelled your installation within a short period of time even thought the non-refundable order was originally placed. Your requested material is located in our shop. If you would like to have this situation rectified, we would be happy to discuss this with you further at your earliest convenience."

"We think you may have mixed your review with the wrong company. You did originally purchase a gutter deal from our A.L. store front on March 9th. Generally, once the deal is purchase we contact you within 2 days, usually sooner, in order to schedule a date and time to meet with our estimator to review and discuss your improvement needs (i.e. discuss priority areas, discuss material color, downspout placement, valley shields, etc.); You can see the necessity of meeting for a consultation prior to installing your job; by communicating and coordinating for a well organized installation. However, we are confused with your review since we never gained the opportunity to discuss available estimate times and/or dates. We initially contacted you via the A.L. message center on March 10th stating that we would be in contact with you over the phone, by the end of the day, to discuss your 'consultation before scheduling.' You responded quickly through the same message portal stating that we 'lied about the time frame' and you would now have to ask Angie's List for an immediate refund. You even asked that we call Angie's List directly to request the refund for you. We called you to discuss your request further, but once we explained that you (as the consumer) are the only individual able to request a refund - you hung up the phone. We attempted to call you back, yet were forced to leave a voice message stating our concern that our connection was interrupted, yet we never heard from you again. We would like to apologize if you thought that your seamless gutter purchase would result in us blindly arriving at your residence with seamless gutter in our choice of color. We prefer to meet with all our clients prior to any installation to ensure the proper materials, colors, placement, etc. is correct. "Thank you for your guidance that we need to learn to schedule appointments; however, we generally do not have an issue in this regard. As you may not be aware, we try to schedule each estimate with enough time for the representative to review and discuss the scope of anticipated improvements. There are instances where an appointment scheduled prior to you on that same day goes beyond the scheduled time; due to the fact that the client may need additional questions answered, clarifications, etc. We do strive to work with every one of our potential and current clients to ensure they know and understand every aspect of their estimate and what to expect form our company. As a courtesy to our clients, we ask that the estimator leave their cell phones on silent during the initial meeting with a client to avoid any interruptions during this time. If they are running a bit late to the next appointment, we ask that they contact us by excusing themselves form the client for a moment or contact us upon entry to their vehicle - which ever comes first within a 10 minute period. Upon your initial call, it was stated that we would call your estimator to determine his anticipated arrival time. Upon hanging up with you, that exact phone call was made and we knew that the estimator was about 15 minutes from your address since he was traveling from a location in another county, previous to your scheduled appointment. Before we were able to return that call to you, you called the office with the opening statement, "Don't bother coming, I will hire someone with a watch." We did attempt to tell you that the estimator was, at that time, about 10 minutes from your address, yet you were not in the position to accept a response from any of our office staff. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that you experienced, especially considering you went out of your way to arrive to your scheduled appointment on time. We wish we would have had the opportunity to explain to you that the estimator was approx. 10 minutes form your address so you could have continued with your estimate. We do wish you the best and hope you find the right company to assist you with the improvements to your investment home."

While reviewing your original estimate from March 2014, you were quoted for interior painting of your den, along with additional areas. The additional costs were for the removal of your window treatments, patch & repair of your drywall, and texture to match the areas of the drywall patch & repair so the repaired areas would match the existing texture to your walls. The additional costs for ceilings above 8 feet is stated on the deal prior to purchase, and was also agreed upon at the time of signing your contract - we are sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction after a such a great amount of time after completing your improvement. Please keep in mind, it is best to let us know of any concerns/questions you may have at the time you are experiencing them - it is difficult for us to resolve any of your concerns after the fact.
