my son paid a guy named john cash in the amount of $195.00 and was told we would receive a receipt by email. it never came. I hired another licensed plumber and he did the job right. I feel that I was ripped by this guy named john.

Stopping payment on the check for this service. The work was paid for in advance and John of Sky Service plumbing refused to provide me a receipt. I also asked to include the materials receipt which he promised to provide. Moreover, my credit card was improperly charged based on the quote given over the phone. I had to ask for 7 days before I received a receipt. The receipt had a different address then where the work was performed. He would not sign or date the receipt. When I explained as a property manager I would not be reimbursed based on the mistakes on this receipt he said he would not correct. I also never received the materials quote. Labor and materials was left blank on the receipt. I will be making further complaints with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau after stopping payment from my bank. Monies will be paid after receipt is corrected.

John Breighner, owner of Sky Service Plumbing, Inc. was hired to replace a hot water heater for my new home purchase, as my old heater was too old for home insurance purposes. He was an absolute nightmare to work with.. late to the job, and once he did replace it and collected his money he would not send me a receipt for service. I had to call and email him 4 different times over a 2 week period and almost lost my home insurance as a result. I would not recommend this company.

VERY FAIR PRICING. I had a clog in main drain line that had actually passed by the time he got here so he told me he'd only be stealing my money if he snaked it out. He basically just charged me gas money for the call and this was on a Saturday. I appreciate the HONESTY.

He was scheduled to arrive between 10am and 11am. We told the company it was an emergency situation. He never called to tell us he would be late, and finally arrived at 12.35pm. Once he was here, he did excellent work.

He was roughly running an hour late, but did call to let me know. Outside block wall had to be opened to replace leaky pipe. Also replaced leaky pipe that was temporarily patched inside house near toilet. While soldering some of the baseboard was burned, wished he informed me. I would have given him some tin foil or metal plate, to avoid burning the baseboard. Will now have to patch outside wall, hopefully paint not replace bathroom baseboard. Very surprised trash was left, including the old copper pipe, though copper has some value to recycle. Quality of work was very good, would hire him again. One thing surprised me, this house was built in the early 80s'. He mentioned that the copper plumbing was CHINESE MADE that it was of low quality, that I'll continue to have water pipe leaks. So far I've had 5 in the last 22 years.
