Sean Elbaz Owner/President of Elbaz Construction has left me with a disastrous bathroom renovation experience that is still incomplete five months later, despite paying over the agreed-upon cost, with subpar workmanship and my unit left in disarray with construction trash. Sean hired workers he owed money to for the bathroom renovation. Unfortunately, this led to a lack of motivation, resulting in poor work quality, irregular work hours, and no cleanup. I even had to cover the cost of construction materials from Home Depot, as Sean Elbaz did not provide them. I had to pay for construction trash removal and cleanup. I question the legitimacy of Sean Elbaz Construction's positive 5-star rating over the last 5 months, given that my bathroom renovation has been delayed for 5 months and the workmanship, once finally initiated, has been subpar. I hope this review helps inform those considering Elbaz Construction for their renovation needs.

Please do not believe all of the 5 star reviews look at the names and realize these aren?t real. This company is run by a husband and wife who lie cheat and steal their way into tricking you to pay for services that never get done. Started the job in December 2023, permitted in August 2024 and after three guys walked off the job for lack of payment, had to file a formal complaint. Elbaz took 70% of the job cost after stating he needed the money to pay his bills after only completing 30% of the job and then gave every excuse under the sun as to why his guys weren?t showing up but the helpers had no problem admitting they weren?t getting paid. Not once did he stay on the job to supervise the work being done. I now have to pay an additional $20,000 to correct all the mistakes that were made. I needed this extension done so I could have the space for a second child but now I?m stuck with a house that keeps having rats running on my ceiling since the exterior walls still aren?t done

They ripped me off for 16k , I. finally sued them in small claims court and was awarded $8350 not what they owed me but better than nothing. Bunch of lying thieves they cashed my checks for $16k and claimed their general contractor had absconded with the funds, however the checks were deposited to Elbaz construction. Stay away from these thieves.

They have done lovely job with my parents house, completely remodel their kitchen and itâ s turned out so beautiful! Sean the project manager was very attentive and professional. I would highly recommend !

Paid them $16,000, they did the demolition, then walked off the job and kept my money. We had a bid from another contractor to do the demolition for $4,500. They were supposed to buy and install new drywall ready to paint in two bedrooms, a bathroom, and half our living room. We were already going through having half our home destroyed by Hurricane Ian and then they walk off the job and refuse to refund my $11,500. Run from these people.

Amazing experience!! After getting burned with my last general contractor and being left with a lot of unfinished work in my home. Sean and his team came in they were really reassuring & comfortable to work with. They did an incredible job! Start to finish just a great experience. Elbaz Construction did an amazing job installing our new dream tub in our master bathroom! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to renovate their bathroom!
