What can you say about a company that does not value their long time customers? The company use to be a great! I’ve been with them for over 10 years! I have recommended and referred family & friends to them. Not no more! In the last few years the service has become awful. They are difficult to deal with. The techs are not proficient and you end up having 2-3 of them in order to fix the issue! One kid even came to do a simple Freon gas top off and he had never done that, in addition he tried to remove the back of the fridge from inside and broke all the hard plastic casing and then ripped out the foam insulation, who does that! Broward Factory does. The latest lies & cons was a renewal that could be put on hold or freeze while I was out of country, the salesman, assured me not a problem, we can do that, no they don't! But then never informed me that I could cancel, so instead its been dragging on for months, with no follow-up, everyone has a different story about the issue, they change the facts and call it a misunderstanding on my part! G Go with another service contract company and avoid this one, unless you really enjoy wasting your time on conflict resolutions

This company use to be a great company to work with. I’ve had them for years, however during this last year their service and customer care has become awful. I called them with an issue with my dryer and mentioned my wash room flooding when we ran the washer. I had informed them the water was coming from the drain pipe behind the washer so I wasn’t sure who to have come out to look at it, if it should be a plumber or if it should be someone to look at my septic system. Well, they opened the ticket to state to have someone fix my washer. While the tech was here to fix my dryer I explained the same thing to him and he said I should have a plumber come out and that he couldn’t fix it, fair enough since as I previously stated the issue was with the drain pipe. He never had to do anything with my washer on his visit. They called and said he recommended a plumber be sent out but then changed it to have someone look at the septic system only after I asked if it could be an issue with the septic. They recommended this so I didn’t have to pay for their service and the septic service if it did turn out to be a septic problem. However, they billed me for the washer anyways even though nothing was done to as previously stated. I asked them either for the charge to be refunded or to have the plumber come out to look at it so I wouldn’t have to pay a second service to find out it was a plumbing issue and this service was already paid for (using their logic). they then refused to send a plumber until the septic was looked at because this would have then pushed me out of the 30 day window of the original ticket being opened and they would then get to charge me a second time for something that should have been covered by the first charge. Every time I talked to someone new in the company about this issue their story always changed. This company is just money hungry and doesn’t care about its customers or it’s employees. I can say employees too because while their tech was working on my drier he had explained to me about how the company kept over $100,000 of commissions that were suppose to be paid out to their employees the year prior. Don’t walk away from this company, run away as fast as you can.

I just had a very unpleasant conversation with Steve Ferguson from Broward Factory Service, complaining about the service I received on 6/16/22. A service man named Joe, took one look at my A/C, saw that the low side exit was frozen and said the coils were leaking. He then said the system was shot and had to be replaced inside and out, heating and cooling, and gave me a quote for said system of $9,744.00. He injected some refrigerant into the unit to give me some cooling for a few days until I could replace the system. I was not happy that no repair options were offered (which they usually do), so researched repairs on YouTube and found many ways to fix it for less than 7% of that price. A product called EasySeal from NuCalgon had over 200 5 star ratings on Amazon dating back to 2019, so I bought it, gauges to measure pressures, an IR temperature thermometer and refrigerant. It took me a few hours to clean the fins, inject the easy sealant and recharge the system and it is fine. I asked for reimbursement for these out of pocket expenses since BFS did NOT offer me any options for repair which they are obligated to do and normally do. Ferguson got very nasty and said he would not reimburse me anything and no longer wanted my business. It will be interesting to see if they will refund the balance of my contract. On simple low cost things BFS was OK, but watch out for anything expensive, like an A/C as they won't touch it. So what good is their contract? CAVEAT EMPTOR!

What a bunch of bull.  We purchased a Home Warranty Plan from this company.  The AC unit was freezing up, so we called them - since it is one of the few things covered under the "home" warranty.
The service tech arrives and says that the AC unit is low on freon and that it has a slow leak, but that the leak was caused by the person who installed the unit so it is not covered by the warranty.  He topped off the freon and charged us $55.
Total BULL.  How would he know who "caused" the leak or that the leak was "caused" by the installer?
AND, even if this is the case, THAT is why we purchased a "Home Warranty Plan" - to cover things LIKE THIS! 
That is what a "WARRANTY" is for!
What other reason would we need to call them if they don't cover items that could be "blamed" on someone else?
Isn't that ALWAYS going to be the case?

However, I will not be continuing withthem because they charge extra.

The  installer didn't have all the things on his list that I paid for and was promised. There were phone calls back and forth to their boss and they eventually installed everything. It took much longer than promised to install because they had to install the things they forgot. One of the men was very rude giving one word answers and grunts when I asked questions. I stayed out of their way but had to check periodically to make sure nothing else was missed. They had to return to add a larger circuit breaker. The service tech, Erold, was so nasty, rude and condescending. I did ask for an apology which he gave me but I still don't care to be treated like this.

We've had a negative experience with them in the past. We started the gold plan with them which means that if they can't repair your appliance they'll replace it with a new device. They cover our washer, dryer, fridge, and AC unit. After I called recently they responded quickly, which wasn't the case in the past. I asked why they responded so much faster and was told they have a new office manager. We are going to work with them again now after they've tried to correct their service problems from the past.

We've used them before because we had a contract with them, were  not very  punctual before. Now I'm  told there  are new office managers.  Called  on Wednesday  and got service on the very  next

NOT VERY GOOD SERVICE, IT SEEMS THAT THE LEFT HAND DOSEN'T KNOW WHAT THE RIGHT HASND IS DOING.  8/9/2013 ?RECENTELY HAD THEM BACK TO THE HOUSE RE: OUR WASHING MACHINE MADE AN APPOINTMENT AND THEY ARRIVED THE VERY NEXT DAY, I ASKED THE TECH. WHY SO FAST AND I WAS TOLD NEW MANAGERIAL STAFF. IT''S BETTER LETS SEE WHAT HAPPEANS IN THE FUTURE IS'T GETTING BETTER  The last  time we used  Broward Factoy Service they arrived very fast, faster then before, when I asked the service tech. he told me that new office managment.  Sdo they have improved don't remember what date that was.

I signed up the contact last month with the hope to get a peace of mind when something is going wrong with my property.   But dealing with their salesperson and technician is a very frustrating experience.      Their salesperson came to the property to check first in order for us to sign on the contract.  After we signed the contract,   we found the problems with  Heat/AC,  bathroom leak and faucet  etc.  But they just want to charge me for every service they are going to provide.    What I heard is just excuses that why they can’t fulfill their obligations.   I didn’t see the point why I need to stay on this contract and decided to cancel it

They are much cheaper than some of the other companies in the area and they always keep me covered. I like the service contract, because there are no additional service charges when they come out. All of the employees are great to talk with and they always come out on time. When I call them they always arrange for a date and time right away.

THEY WERE VERY NICE AND POLITE. THEY WERE HERE AT THE EXACT TIME THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE. THEY WERE VERY RESPECTFUL AND TOOK THERE SHOES OFF AT THE DOOR. THEY WERE QUICK, YET SHOWED GOOD WORKMANSHIP. THEY CLEANED UP THEIR MESS.

THEY WERE VERY SLOW AT GETTING HERE AND SLOW AT FIXING MY THINGS. I WOULD REHIRE THEM IF I GOT DIFFERENT PEOPLE THAT CAME OUT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

THE WORK THAT BROWARD FACTORY SERVICE DOES IS ALWAYS GOOD, THAT'S WHY I ONLY CALL THEM TO DO SOMETHING AROUND THE HOME FOR ME. THEY HAVE ALSO FIXED MY APPLIANCES AND AIR CONDITIONING BEFORE. I AM ONE HAPPY CUSTOMER OF THEIRS.

THIS COMPANY IS A VERY GOOD COMPANY. THEY DO GREAT WORK, BUT THEY ARE KIND OF EXPENSIVE. WE PAY ABOUT $550 YEARLY, AND USUALLY ONLY NEED THEM ONE TIME A YEAR.
