The end result is the experience was a bad one.
At first, all seemed fine.  Joe was professional, friendly and came out to my house to fix the leak in the roof.  He gave me several options for fixing the leak and I went with the most affordable one, which was simply putting tar on the roof.
He mentioned it should do the job, but if not, let him know and he would come back out and do something else to make sure it did not leak.
About 1 1/2 months later we had the first hard rain since he repaired the roof.  The roof began leaking again.  This was the day before Thanksgiving.  I called them up and was told by someone in the office I would get a call back a little later that day.  No one called back.  I called that Friday, then again on Tuesday.  No one returned a phone call.
I've learned to get anything and everything in writing from this experience.  I was given a verbal guarantee by Joe, but that seems to mean nothing, since they will not call me back.
Bottom line, not happy with the outcome.  If this provider had called back and honored their verbal guarantee, I would have been thrilled.  As it is, it's been a stressful weak trying to get in touch with them and now I will have to go through a different roofer to fix the problem.
