Nothing but positives from start to finish. It was a great experience working with Blake and his employees, who were helpful and professional in every way. I have used a different roofer before but the great reviews on Angie's List convinced me to try Capps. His price was a little lower and overall performance was far superior. I wish every contractor I use was as pleasant to work with.

The soffit had blown loose. Capps came out to estimate ended up fixing the problem and noticed another issue which will require a diferent vender to resolve. So they took pictures and emailed them to me.All this at $0 charge Great Company. Super Service!!

The work was performed as agreed upon with no problems or unexpected charges.

I just purchasd an older home and my Inspector found a few active roof leaks. I had gotten several estimates, they were not the highest or the lowest. But from my initial meeting with Mark until completion of the job, I was confident that my roof would be repaired correctly. The proposal was clear, and listed exactly what they were going to do. This was my first experience with a roof repair, so I had many questions. Mark, Blake and both members of the crew answered each one, or directed me to the appropriate person to ask. Even when I called up to the roof and they needed to stop and answer. I now know what a "cricket" and "hardy board" are! :) The repairs were completed in a timely, neat and professional manner. When I asked to add on some "extras" the additional cost was reasonable. In addition they did a couple of "non roof" things just becaused I asked. I will call them again, when the roof needs to be replaced (which I am confident will not be for several years.) I strongly recommend them. I should mention I'm from Jersey and not the easiest to please. They had no problems exceeding my expectations!

They gave us the best pricing. I had some issues. I did not think that they were as good as they said about themselves. I thought the price was right, definitely. I felt comfortable with the guy that came in for the sale. He actually came out, looked at the house and got on the roof. However, some of the people that we called from Angie's list did not even come out to the house and quoted me over the phone. I called six people, and three of the six did not even come out. The first day they actually did not show up at all, and then I ended up calling them. They said that they had a job they ran over. So then they came the next day, which was on time, but I wished they had called me. Most of our neighbors had their roofing done in a day or two, but it took them like five days to get our roof done. They failed the first inspection. The reason why it took them so long to get it done was they only had one guy on our roof. It seemed like that they were clearly not treating my job as a proper job. What I did not realize was they rip my gutter off the side of my house and they threw it away. They did not come back to replace it or fix it. We had to pay $300 to have them replaced. That was very much not cool. Whoever were up on the roof were smokers, as we found some butts on the ground around the house and we found some of those nails that they use on the roof and they were all around the house. They did not do a very good cleanup.

I called only Capps because of their quality of work as listed on Angies List. They came out the next day to understand what the problems were. They examined the roof and attic. From there they created a cost proposal for the work that was to be done. I received the estimate on a Tuesday. I in turned approved the estimate on Wednesday. I had no baseline to know how much it would cost, but I was a little shocked at the amount. But I thought if they did less work and used less materials, then the job cost would have less. So, when no plywood was replaced, a half dozen shingles were used, and the 2 vent pipes with flashing, I was thinking the cost would be reduced. However, the cost remained at $2000.00. The work was done on a Friday afternoon. Friendly workers and it was a pleasure to interact with them.

The flat roof portion of the house was replaced and the skylight was replaced with a Miami-Dade County approved product. The complete job was painless and free of problems. Blake and Mark Capps were very responsive and all paperwork including pulling the permit and dealing with the town and county was handled. Enough capable employees to complete the job in one day. No payment was required until after the job was finished and approved by City Hall. I would use Capps Roofing again.

The reroofing experience went well...except... I felt that the gutters did not need to be removed as they were attached well below the roof line. I was surprised that the first order of business by the crew was to remove them. Neatly fold them and carry them off, but not with the regular debris. Now I need new gutters.

Mark from Capps Roofing came out when my wife and I were buying our first home. We needed to get an evaluation of the roof done for the home and required a professional opinion. Mark was really prompt at returning all of our calls and getting the appointment set up quickly (we needed it done ASAP). He politely and professionally responded to all of our inquiries, and quoted us a very fair price for the procedure. The evaluation was beyond thorough...I swear that every crevice of the roof and attic was investigated with a magnifying glass. In the end, Capps Roofing saved us a small fortune, and a lot of headaches down the road. While we loved the home and were initially sad to hear the verdict, Capps brought to our attention that the roof was in a condition which would prevent us from getting insurance. This was a very good catch, because the contract on the home was "as is" and it was going to be a cash deal. The home would have required ~$15,000 in repairs before it was even eligible for basic home owners insurance. Shotty patchwork initially hid these problems, but Capps was very informative and showed us the rotted sections (very rotted). Ultimately, they saved us a fortune and were a pleasure to work with. Capps set the bar for professionalism and should be reference for all contractors who are trying to provide excellent customer service.

Capps Roofing was excellent to work with in every respect. I got a call back right away and an appointment was set up for the first convenient time we had. Blake Capps the owner came and went up on the roof with my husband and showed him all the problems where the leaks were occurring and marked them for his workers to see. He provided a written estimate that was above another estimate we had received for a new company with no track record but when I included the Angies list coupon his estimate was then less than the other offer and had all the other reviewers backing their service. Service was scheduled quickly and conveniently. Blake's brother came out to do the work with his team. When I went to pay the invoice I saw that the Angies coupon discount had changed and called to inquire about whether they would still honor the discount that had been in effect when I signed the contract. Blake called back and said they absolutely would.They were professional in every sense of the word. I highly recommend them.

Job went smoothly 25 workers were prompt and seemed to efficiently do their jobs. Workers were courteous.

Blake returned my call promptly and came out right away to take a look at my roof. He identified the problem very quick. The quoted price was high, but we negotiated and he lowered the price for me. The work was done ahead of schedule and job well done. Would be glad to hire him again.

It went well. I have no complaints.

The job was done very efficiently and at the time promised. They cleaned up after the job was finished and we would use them again. Very courteous owners and workers.

It took 3 days to complete all 3 jobs. They first repaired the roof where the leak was and got that area dried in. They also started checking the rest of the roof for loose or cracked tiles. The 2nd day they replaced the damaged roof ridge vent and got that area dried in, and also finished up checking and re-securing any loose or cracked tiles found on the roof. The 3rd day they re-installed the tiles around the ridge vent and in the repair area. Will definitely use Capps Roofing again for any roofing work I need. They informed me when the crew would be there, they arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves before leaving each day. Blake Capp also came out the same day I called them for an estimate. A++

Mr. Capp Was very professional with his evaluation. He even went up in the rain after I told him it wasn't necessary due to the weather. He showed me a chase into the attic where they most likely were getting in and gave me a few alternatives towards repair. When I had asked what I owed for the visit, He stated no charge. I thanked him for the visit and would gladly recommend his services!!!

They even worked a Saturday to complete the work for me. I was not charged for any services until the entire job was completed.

The owner of the business came to my house and prepared the estimate/bid. He was thorough with his explanations of the situation and the approach to fixing it, and his work crew arrived on time, finished the job the same day, and left everything clean and picked up. There were no additional charges, so I only paid the amount of the bid. I was very satisfied with their work and would gladly hire them again.

When the inspection was done on a home we recently purchased, we were told there were a couple of loose/cracked tiles and that the vent screen was broken. I received an estimate of $400 from another roofing company to do the repairs. When Mark from Capps came out to give us an estimate, he was extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable. He actually reattached the vent and repaired the tiles on the spot within a matter of minutes at no charge. So glad we found this company on Angie's List and will definitely be using Capps for any of our roofing issues in the future. So refreshing to find such an honest and kind contractor these days.

After several attempts to have a leak fixed by a different contractor, I contacted Capps roofing and they were very punctual. Their pricing was fair and they did an excellent and professional job. I would highly recommend these people.

I can recommend them and they are very good. In terms of price I actually had two proposals and they came up with the best proposal and the best product. The other people charged me a little bit more and they gave me an inferior shingles and these people gave me better shingles. They already have taken out the old shingles and noted around the house. They picked everything and they were very cautious about hovering the clamps. They haven’t finished the roof but I’m sure it is not going to be any different than what they have been doing. In terms of I’ll say it’s fair because someone told me that I could get probably lower but I don’t want to go inferior because I may be losing something by going lower and I think the price is pretty good. The quality is very good and they are very thorough.

These guys are unbelievable!! We had hail damage and needed a roofing company, being new to the area we went to Angies List. Got two quotes from a word of mouth referrals and 2 from Angies list. Got Capps roofing quotation in it was the next to the highest, not even all covered by my insurance settlement, then I got studying their quote real close to everyone elses...hmmm, what did I see, when I compared apples to apples, they were the next to lowest. There standard materials and workmanship guarantee's were "upgrades" for everyone else... wow, very interesting... so then I called and said hey, I like your quote but on Angies list you have a 5% disount for Angies List members and I did tell you I found you on Angies List so does this price you quoted include the 5% off. They gave a one word answer... NO.... my next question will I get the discount....one word answer...ABSOLUTELY we will send you a new contract showing the lower price....SWEET, now, even though not the absolute lowest my insurance settlement now covers the total cost barely, but it did... YOU ARE HIRED... so then they said, we will start on this date at 8:00am.. tear off two and half days then shingle in two to two and half days with all weather permitting... sounds good to me AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED.. TO THE HOUR... NOW, lets talk quality.... the materials were listed in the quote... Polyglass IRS underlayment/ Corning 130mph Architectual shingles.. Same shingles I had but better underlayment, had a one inch drip edge, they used a 3" with a lip.... better materials than what I had... Workmanship... My roof was done beautifully, correctly, and looks great. I happen to be off the days they shingled. There was several houses on our street that was reshingled, and ours was the only one I noticed with snapped lines to help the appearance. Oh yea, they were the only company that quoted that said payment in full upon completion.. nothing down. 3 days before they were to start I hadn't received the money from the insurance company that was sent to the mortgage company so I called and asked if they wanted to put it off a few days since I knew it was going to take a couple more days to get plus it has to clear the bank, they said nope, that's fine we work with mortgage and insurance companies all the time, they are just protecting their investement and yours we will work with you!!, finished on a friday..get their full check on Monday... THESE GUYS ARE TRUE PROFESSIONALS. When I hire something done I look for 3 things (in this order) 1 Quality2.Service3.Competitive Price EXACTLY WHAT I RECEIVED FROM CAPPS ROOFING!!!! CAN'T SAY ENOUGH POSITIVE ABOUT THIS COMPANY!!! NEGATIVES: NONE!!!!!
