Capps Roofing

I'm a retired Pratt & Whitney engineer. Quality is paramount in my priorities. Capps gave a reasonable estimate, and after seeing the finished job, I was very impressed. They were on the job immediately after I signed the contract, did the whole job in a couple days, and provided roof vents to keep our attic cooler, as well as top grade, extra wide copper flashings. All "soft spots" in the plywood were replaced, heavy tar paper over that, the shingles were put down perfectly, and are the finest quality. Every person conducted themselves very professionally, and were also friendly. They cleaned up the entire area, not a single piece of roofing material or nail could be found. I would trust this roof to a Cat 5 hurricane anytime !!!

We had a leak in our roof. We called Mr. Capps as well as other companies. Mr. Capps was the only one to respond. He came out quickly and assessed the damage. He gave a quote for the job and promised it would include everything that needed to be done with no hidden charges. Once we signed the proposal he came out the very next day. We were very pleased with the work.

After getting four quotes I decided to go with Capps Roofing. They came out and inspected my roof and sent me a proposal a couple days later. I was very satisfied with the proposal which stated exactly what was to be done, with what materials to be used, and what the total price would be. I have two HOA that required approvals before any work could be done. I dealt mostly with Blake Capps and he provided all the information they needed including a sample tile. Any questions or concerns I had, Blake answered. If I had to leave a message, my call was returned promptly. We had a few delays starting because the weather wasn't cooperating. The crews that came out to do the work were very polite, friendly, worked very efficiently, and cleaned up after each day. I am completly satisfied with all aspects of the job and I will definitly use Capps Roofing again if need be. I would also recommend Capps roofing to anyone needing roof work.

Blake were very pleasant. Mark came out and looked at the roof, spent a couple of minutes, and was not near as detailed as the other companies I had come out and look. I was contacted by Blake, and the estimate was $1000 higher than anybody else. Overall grade is mainly because of the price.

I contacted Capps to see if they repair metal patio roofs. I received a response back right away from Blake Capps letting me know that they do make these kinds of repairs and to call for an appointment. I called and left a message and sent an e-mail. Never heard back so I hired someone else.

This company was very professional. They scheduled a date to come for an estimate and came exactly when they said they would. The estimate was email to us in a timely manner. Once we called to accept the estimate and give them the work they had us on their schedule within a matter of one or two weeks. They were very polite and we are extremely pleased with the work they did.

We currently have a contract of sale pending on this house and needed a minor repair and roof inspection. The potential buyers requested a repair to an exterior drip edge and inspection of the existing roofing system. We called Mr. Capps because we recently used him to re-roof our new house. Time was of the essence because of the time constraints of the sales contract. Mr. Capps came to the house the next day to complete the inspection and scheduled the repair work. Two days later the work was complete and we were able to move forward to schedule closing. Couldn't ask for anything more. Timely response to our request, reasonable price and quality work you can trust. Can't go wrong with this roofing company. Plus they're local and a family owned organization.

We selected this contractor based on his stellar reviews on Angie's List and were not disappointed. We purchased a short sale property that was in desperate need of a new roof. Mr. Capps was quick to respond to our request for an estimate (free) and was able to expedite the permits to get the project started ASAP. Thankfully, the weather cooperated and the "tear off" crew made quick work of the demolition. The metal and other necessities were delivered in a timely fashion and the work progressed seamlessly. The job was completed to our satisfaction and in a timely and efficient manner. The original bid that we agreed on was exactly what we paid upon project completion. JOB WELL DONE!

Capps Roofing was great, fair price, returns calls and completed work as they said they would. Everyone was very polite and it was so nice to do business with a company that cares.

Excellent job by ths company. I was in the process of selling my house. The buyers inspection revealed some roof issues. This company came highly recommended to me. Time was short to close, Capps Roofing was quick to inspecti the roof and just as quick to repair the items in question. They helped prevent having to extend the closing. Job well done...thanks !

Called Capps because of write-up on Angies's list. Blake Capps was out the next day and had a quote for me. Not only was his price the best, but his follow through was exceptional. Started this job this past Monday.......on schedule. No mess, competent crew. This has to be the best roofing company I have ever worked with!

Their service was wonderful. There was an issue with the county code that was an honest oversight on their part. As soon as it was addressed, they got everything corrected. They did the work wonderfully and the price was reasonable. They did the work when they said and we were pleased. This was done after a hurricane and they did not try to price gouge.

They did an excellent job. They took the old shingles off and replaced the new ones. They didn't make a mess and cleaned up anything that fell. They were finished quickly and stuck to their estimate. They also had the proper equipment to get the work done.

Their service was great. We had a slight problem after they were finished. I called them and they came back about 3 or 4 hours later and fixed the issue. They were friendly and good people to work with. I would hire them again.

Their service was excellent. They were very professional. The initial phone call went well. They came out to look at the work and followed up with the estimate as promised. They came when the appointment was scheduled and did the work very well.

Everything was done as requested. I've not had work like this done before, so I can't say that the price was out of line. Service people were courteous and was completed in a timely manner. I would use this company again for any roof repairs.

Capps roofing did what they said they would do. Their people were wonderful to deal with. There was an issue with roofing nails showing on the wood underside of an overhang. They took care of it by building a wood soffit over that area and did not charge extra. We did not have to wait long for them to start the work and they finished the job very quickly. Their painting and gutter subcontractors were also excellent to work with.

Chose Capps after interviewing many roofing companies. Their pricing was fair and their work was excellent. Very professional crew, well mannered and hard-working. Constant follow-up from the owners during the project. Any surprise issues that happened during the process were handled quickly and to our satisfaction. We have had several compliments on our roof since its completion. I would highly recommend Capps Roofing for anyone looking for a quality roof replacement.

These guys are the best - REAL professionals. This was my second project with them. They are equipped to handle it all. They repaired a terracotta roof that had some leaks. Work was done on time and they cleaned up the job site when finished. Repair comes with a 1 year warranty! If you want a roofer that will offer you PEACE OF MIND on perhaps the most important part of your home - do yourself a favor and call this company.

The first thing I notices when looking for a company to re-roof my home was all the reviews for Capp's roofing on Angie's list. The second was CAPPS Roofing motto. "The Price Is The Price". And it's true. Capps tear off crew showed up when promised, removed the old roof, made several repairs (replacing the wood deck where needed), provided all new vent pipes and 4 new roof vents and cleaned up the entire area. All of this at no extra charges that I've come to expect from companies these days. Blake Capps also gave me the $250 discount when I told him I used Angie's List to find him. I choice an upgraded shingle, but I knew the price for the work before I made the contact. I would recommend CAPPS Roofing to anyone in the area that's needs repairs or a new roof. You will get a quality job from some nice, hard working people. We had to go out of town-- something I don't normally do when work is going on at my house. When we returned we found the perfect roof, expertly installed. Blake Capps was great about waiting until I returned for payment. Something else that's unusual in this day and age.

At my first contact, an appointment was made to inspect my house. They came to my house as promised and inspected the roof. They gave us an appropriate quote for the roof repair. They did not try and sell us a new roof or do more work than what was required. They followed up in a professional manner and were not pushy in trying to get our business. We decided to not have the repairs done at this time, but would have used Capps if we did. We will use them in the future.

I called to get an estimate on reroofing our house due to a leak and Mark Capps came right out and we had an estimate by email the next day. The quote was competitive with another estimate I had received. I chose to go with Capps because everyone I dealt with was very pleasant and professional, and they came out and put a tarp over the leak at no charge before I had even signed the contract. I was kept informed by Blake Capps throughout the project. The day before the project was to start all the materials they needed were delivered to the house and placed on the roof. The next day a whole crew came and removed the old roof and put down the tar paper to dry in the roof. I still can't believe how "neat" they were. They laid down tarps all around the house to catch any debris that might fall, and each day they picked up and folded the tarps and stored them away. The project went very well and we are totally pleased with our new roof, it looks great.
