Capps Roofing

Capps roofing is the definition of professionalism. They returned the initial call for service immediately. Estimator arrived at the exact time scheduled. Quote for work was provided a couple days after the visit. The job was scheduled and the crew arrived at the scheduled time. The repairs were performed in an efficient quality manner. The job site was cleaned as if no one had been here. All repairs appear to be performing as expected. I will surely request their services when it is time to replace our roof. I will be more aggressive during the price negotiations when that time comes.

Professional experience. Professional in roof work, dealing with customers, dealing with permitting authorities. Addressed desired extras in the contract. Accomplished work within desired timeframe. Communication was easy and responsive. Had a good bit of woodwork to be done, all of which was done within contract price - not as an extra or at a per foot cost. Be ready for a swarm of workers to attack your roof when they begin. And I must say they are the happiest gang I have seen in a while! Cleaned up at the end of each day. Made the city inspector happy. They performed as promised, without the need for me to stay on top of them. I'll see them again in 20 years or so!

Capps Roofing was really good. They were very competitive price wise and got the work done efficiently. When they gave us the quote, they told us a timeline. They held true to this timeline. The only comment I have is that they didn't tell us exactly what day they were coming to do the work and just showed up. However, this was not a problem and they did an excellent job.

He said it was a very special material that they would be working with and recommended me to a company that specializes in sheet metal.

The crews were awesome. Very professional and pleasant. They worked very hard from tearing off the old roof to putting on the tile. They cleaned up after themselves and they all worked as if they loved their job. Roy was very pleasant when he delivered the proposal. Steve was the on-site supervisor and he was very professional and pleasant as well. The owner, Blake, is very hard to get ahold of. The best was to communicate with Blake is through email as the office phone is handled by a recorder it seems like. Blake seemed very nice when we did have communication with him. I'd still like to meet the mystery man!! LOL :-)

It went very well. The large crew of workers worked like highly efficient "army ants", each knowing his job in the overall work plan. I could not believe that despite the late morning start (due to questionable weather), they did the tear-off, installed the TPO and tied it under my metal roof on my main house in about four hours. I also give credit for the wisdom of one of the salespeople who warned me about going with a roof coating, which for a long time I had been seriously considering due to costs. Capps doesn't like to do roof coatings because neither they nor the homeowner ever knows the condition of the deck under the coating. And they were absolutely right in my case. They removed and replaced two sheets of bad plywood over which I could have had someone apply a coating. That would have been disastrous. I highly recommend this roofing company. I would certainly use them again if the need arose.

Integrity, honesty, professional, quality craftsmen....I can't say enough positive things about Capps Roofing! We had contacted them to either repair or replace our cedar shake roof . The roof was not leaking but some of the shakes looked cracked and worn, and we were about to put the house on the market. Capps came by within a couple of days of my initial call, on a morning when it had rained a few hours prior and the roof was still damp. The estimator checked the attic for leaks, then walked the whole roof and decided it could be repaired. Had the quote within a day or so, and work started shortly after. As I said, the roof was damp the day the estimator came by...but when the 2 man crew got up there the day work started, the roof was dry and they could see there was far more work than had been estimated for. The damp roof had hidden many small areas where the shakes had shrunk just enough to expose underneath the shingles. Long story short...Capps Roofing stood by the original estimate, never asking for more then they had quoted originally. They did not in any way skimp on product they used or the time needed to do it right. They replaced any cracked and worn shakes, and installed new shakes to cover every little gap. The work crew was extremely great! But wait!...there's more!! Sometime later (couple months?), a small leak was found in the attic ....a very small area of dampness on the sheathing after a particularly violent storm. Called Capps and they were out next day to have a look. They repaired it by replacing the damaged sheathing and all else necessary to do it right. We fully expected to pay for the repair ...but there was no charge! Talk about standing behind their word and standing behind their work! DO NOT hesitate to hire this company!!

They were very prompt and professional and followed up. Unfortunately their quote was significantly higher than another recommended service.

Capps roofing responded quickly and came out to give me an estimate. They were not the cheapest but I went with them because of all the good reviews it was money well spent. They came out with full crew and replaced the flat roofs. I did not like the way they tied in the flat roof to the metal and let them know. They were very reponsive and corrected the issue the next day. They did a great job cleaning up. They are a very professional company. They did an excellent job on our roof ! I would recommend Capps roofing to anybody that needs roof work.

Work was completed in timely manner. Workers were polite and professional - repair looked good. Workers cleaned up work area nicely each day. Project was done with two workers over two days; First day, tiles were removed and leak repaired. After two days, allowing sealer to dry, they returned to replace tiles that were removed and finished up. I will add additional review later to confirm leak was fixed.

Roy and Blake were a pleasure to deal with. Very responsive and fair! Workers did an excellent job and cleaned up all debri! Extremely professional!

Although Capps was not the least expensive estimate I received, they were very professional and extremely competent. Their crews replaced warn-out, leaking roofing, with new materials and new concrete tiles that matched perfectly. They also rebuilt my soffit and facia. I was most impressed with the neatness and speed at which they performed their work. Capps answered all my questions and did exactly as they promised. I would recommend them to anyone.

It went well. From the first call they were responsive and efficient. The men came today and worked diligently till the job was completed I wear impressed by how professional each and every staff member was from the first man who came and looked at the job. Took pictures, made diagrams etc. when the workmen came today they came on time with those diagrams and all materials necessary for the job. I would recommend them to anyone needing this kind of work

Very nice and professional. Was waiting for proposal via e-mail. Received e-mail of the proposal to repair the roof and was shocked at the price. $2,800.00 for a very small job. Would not ever use them or recommend them to any of my neighbors because of this inflated price.

From the moment i submitted the request for an estimate Roy was professional and responsive. They did the estimate within 48 hours and once I agreed on the services they completed them within 24 hours of receiving my contract. Although I thought the cost for the repair was high for what needed to be fixed, it was comparable with the competitors and ended up being cheaper once the coupon was applied. I would definitely contact them again. They are not like the other companies on Angie's List. They want your business and are very responsive. When you want something fixed, most of us want it fixed "now" and Capps Roofing does that.

Fortunately, upon inspection, I did not need a roof repair because there were no clear signs of a leak. I had hastily arranged the roof repair estimate based solely upon information provided by my renter. My renter was just being considerate and I did not take the time to check it out. When Roy showed up, it was obvious to both of us that there was no roof leak. Since Capps is a professional organization, they were straight up with me. I was impressed that Roy was polite and showed up, and showed up on time. He was also trustworthy. Those are qualities that you cannot find very often in South Florida. Given all the rain, this has been a busy time for roofers. I called three Angies List roofers, including Capps. I left a message with all three. Capps was also the first to call me back and they were able to schedule the estimate virtually immediately. It took the other companies two or three more days to call me back. I'm glad that I did not end up needing to repair my roof, however, I would have trusted the opinion and felt like I would have gotten a good value had I needed to use them. Lastly, I offered to pay $20 for his troubles and fuel, but he refused. Thus, further evidence of a quality guy and organization.

They were unable to help but recommended an aluminum roofing co.

Blake and Roy are the ultimate professionals. They handled the rip off and replacement of my parents 4000 +\- sf roof. Their crew members covered all shrubbery prior to tear off. Cleaned up at the end of each day. Replaced all gutters, flashing and siding around chimney. All rotted boards and fascia replaced at no extra charge (other companies only include maybe 5 free boards). Handled all permit process paperwork and dealt with the HOA. Handled removal and reinstall of hot water solar panels and had recommendations to any other needed professionals along the way. A real pleasure to deal with. Would definitely hire again in the future.

I needed a repair on my roof which was too small of a job other companies. I called Capps to do the repair, they were professional and quick. Blake moved up the start of my job because it rained one night and the roof leaked in the master bath. When I called and asked when they were starting, and he had a crew at my house the next day. The job took a week from start to finish. It has rained hard several times since then and every thing is dry. I would use them again.

The owner of Capps, Blake has been easy to work with, very direct, professional and did a GREAT job. Our original contact was Roy who met us at our house and provided a quote. Very personable, knowledgeable and sincere. I had several roofing companies provide quotes but I feel like we made the right decision hiring Capps to do our roof.

All work was completed as proposed in a timely manner.
