Capps Roofing

This is the best review I can give a company. Capps was wonderful to work with from the very beginning of the process. Blake and Steve are wonderful, honest people. I wish all contractors/business owners were like them. They were responsive and professional. Their crews were as neat as can be considering the mess that goes into a new roof. They cleaned up each day. The whole process only took 4 days. They responded to our concerns and corrected them and answered all our questions. They recommended we do a complete tear off of our flat roof, which no other company recommended. I would work with Capps in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone considering any roof work. THANK YOU CAPPS! We love our new roof!

After getting 4 different prices from people from Angie's List, we decided we felt the best match was with Capps. They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive. Everyone we dealt with were very professional. They did the work they said they would do in the time they said they would do it. The roofing service definitely leaves a big mess of things, but I don't think that had anything to do with the provider that we choose. We had a few things that were broken in the process and they were quick to get someone to fix everything. All of our dealings with them were outstanding. I would definitely choose them again when the time comes.

Inspected roof and attic and received a fixed cost quote. Arrived following week as planned. Work took about 5 or 6 days as there was extensive repair and re-siding required. Work appears to have been performed well (no leaks since) and the men who worked were courteous, skilled, and just nice guys. Note that the "Angie's Discount" for repairs was $100, not the 5% mentioned in the Angie's Listing. (The 5% discount I was told is for new roofs.). Finally, they communicated and worked well with my insurance company helping matters proceed smoothly.

My experience went very well. Capps Roofing's Crew arrived on time and complete job as promised in one day. Capps Roofing workmanship was excellant and they were professitonal. We were very pleased with their work.

My experience with Capps roofing was one of the most pleasant experiences ever, working with Blake & Roy was great, both were very patient and courteous. They are easy to communicate with, they listen to your needs and answered all my questions. I have never worked with a company that is as clean as this company my roof was replace and I can tell you I could not find a loose nail any where on my property. They had explain that the dumpster would be there to collect all trash and debris, they started at around 8 am when I got home you could not tell I had someone fixing my roof. Their crew members are hard working, they did everything to get this project done on time. The job was beautifully done I love my new roof. The crew was on time, worked hard, were very professional, and did the job in a timely manor. The owner called to follow up when there was an issue with my payment and worked with me until this was resolved over a couple of days. The owner called me on a Saturday, he was sick with the flu, and was very understanding, and professional. The owner called back within a month to make sure everything was going well and that there were no problems with the roof that was put on my house and out building. This is a family owned business and I also worked with Mr. Capps sister-in-law during the appraisal, roof installation, and payment. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this small business! I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Roy returned my call promptly and came out to do an inspection the same day. I received a quote the following day. They scheduled my job within a week and completed it within one day. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant and professional.

Called got a call back ,showed up the next day was e-mailed the proposal, I think the same day . We signed the proposal a few days later & they were there early that morning & worked all day until dark & got the job done !!!! Couldn't have asked for a nicer bunch of young men. As far as if it was a good price we didn't do any comparison pricing. We did get up on the roof & everything they did looked good & what's more important we have no leaks!!!!

They showed up on time, performed work in timely manner and were polite and pleasant.

Capps roofing gave estimate, adhered to that estimate, did the difficult repair in a timely fashion. All of the crew from this company were very professional and informative. Answered all questions on the work done. I had several estimates and their pricing was very competitive. I've attempted to have my roof repaired on several occasions over the years without success. Capps roofing came in and completed the job correctly. The owner of the company was very honest with me and I believe he is a man of integrity. I would definitely recommend them to friends.

They were courteous, professional, understanding, and so easy to deal with, not to mention they gave us the best price. Family-owned operation made our dreaded home repair an easy and painless experience! Other roofing contractors wanted to add on all kinds of things to their base quote, but not Capps. Their price was their price.

The estimate showed up 2 hours after I called. They sent an estimate of the work to be done the next day. I called to ask a couple of questions. They called me back within an hour or two and answered my questions. After considering one other company I decided to gow ith Capps. As soon as they received the signed paperwork, they called to say they woud be sending workers out Monday morning to begin the work. Workers arrived at scheduled time, were very professional and completed all the work in one day. I was extremely happy with their professionalism and responsiveness

It was a quick job done well. They did two of my neighbours at the same time.I would recommend them to anyone interested in getting their roof replaced. The only thing I would have got them to fix was a bit of fascia board the did not fit very well in one place. but we are from Canada and didn't notice it until we came back to see the job in May. We just got the people painting the Fascia to repair it.

It was worse than we thought. They removed the damaged areas, put in new plywood and flashing or whatever needed to be done and then returned a few days later to re-install the tiles. Waterproof, yeah! Professional and thorough.

They returned my message here on Angie's List promptly and called me that same day. Steve came to my house on New Years Eve and took photos of the affected area and they sent me a proposal on the following Friday. I accepted the proposal and they were here bright and early on Monday morning. Their foreman Bartolo was wonderful and he explained to me everything they were doing as the process was done. He showed me the rotted wood they had to remove and explained all the repairs that had been done...which was a bit more than they had originally anticipated, but I was not charged any extra for the work. Everything was done in a timely manner and it all looks great. I am very happy with my experience with Capps Roofing and would definitely call them again and recommend them to my family and friends. I am so glad I checked on Angie's List to help me find the right company for the job. Thank you so much!

They performed better than expected. I didn't even have to visit the job. As a home owner from out of town, I put my full trust in the Capps family to deliver an exceptional roofing experience. They did a fantastic job and stayed in constant communication.

Capps Roofing Co. was one of three estimates that we received. They were by far the most prompt, responsive, and professional company with which to work. Their sales representative was very knowledgeable and because we had a couple of issues with the pitch of our roof in areas we were requesting some special attention. Roy took extra time to research our needs and found a company that was certified for our specific roofing requirements. We live in the City of Boca Raton which has very strict permitting criteria so we were a little concerned that the city might not permit this roof, but between Roy's research and Blake Capps experience, we received the permit in record time and the roof was started within a week. The crew that arrived was very professional and efficient at removing the old roof. The new material arrived directly from the manufacturer and the crew chief was very complimentary of Capps Roofing stating they were the best company to work with because of their efficiency. This was very comforting coming from someone in the same business. The crew that came to install the metal roof worked each day from early morning until dark. It took approximately 3 days to have the metal completed. The inspection was the only hold up as the City inspectors do not carry their own ladders with them so a second inspection was needed, other then that the job was done on time, on budget and in an orderly fashion. The work site was neat and clean from the beginning to the end of each day. We are extremely happy with the total experience because of Blake Capp and his professional team.

gENTLEMEN MET WITH ME WHEN AGREED UPON. VERY POLITE AND KNOWLEGEABLE. UNFORTUNATELY INSURANCE COMPANY WOULD NOT PAY MY CLAIM SO I COULD NOT GET REPAIR DONE. wOULD DEFINETLY USE THIS COMPAMY IN FUTURE.

What a pleasure working with a professional organization that takes pride in its work and wants to ensure customer satisfaction. Out of the several quotes I received for the re-roof, Capps was not the cheapest, but I felt I could trust them to do an excellent job and I was not disappointed. From beginning to end the process was smooth, communication was excellent, and the job met my expectations. They arrived on time, there was a supervisor on site most days, and they took great care to protect the plants and shrubs around the exterior of the house as well as clean up each day. Blake, the company owner, was in phone contact almost daily making sure I was satisfied with the work that was being done. The first day they arrived they covered the plants and shrubs as they began ripping off the existing tile roof. Plywood was placed on the driveway and over windows to avoid damage. They replaced a couple rotted fascia boards, reinforced the soffit in a few places and replaced the aluminum overwrap on two sections of the fascia. The tile was delivered late on a Friday afternoon and they were back early Saturday morning to get it up on the roof deck. The crew that did the work were tireless working some days until almost dark to keep the job on schedule. There was some minor damage to the interior of one of my skylight wells from where the skylight had been removed and put back and they took care of the repair. Capps also took care of replacing the gutters once the roof was complete. It's great to know up front the total cost of the re-roof. (One of the things that added to the price was the brand of concrete tile required by my HOA - they require Eagle tile instead of Integra tile which I understand is more commonly used). There are no surprises at the end of the job. Capps' price is all-inclusive.

I was totally impressed by the immediate response from this company. They are incredibly attentive and professional from the first inspection/ estimate through the final email ~ reciept of payment. I never had to wait for workman to arrive, wondering if I was a forgotten customer....I was totally comfortable throughout the repair. The workmen arrived at the start of the day and were skilled and courteous. When they completed their work, their supervisor arrived and inspected the work to insure satisfaction. I would not hesitate to call them again in the future and would highly refer them to others with confidence.

Just fine except for some white spatters on the concrete deck. I have some matching paint for one spot.

Roy came out and was very considerate, honest and through when looking at the job to bid. It was couple days project all the guys who came out were very respectful and hard working. They cleaned up before leaving so there was evidence that they had been there:) Would recommend them to friends & family.

Capps Roofing was very professional. They scheduled an estimate right away, furnished the proposal the next day, and were able to start the work just a few days after that. They called to make sure I understood the details of the proposal and answer any questions that I had. The guys who came out to replace the skylights arrived on time and did a quick but thorough job. They set the shingle options out on the roof, so I could see how they compared to our current shingles. Capps followed up the next day to make sure we were happy with the work and their office manager followed up promptly with a receipt of payment for our records. We would definitely use them again!

Capps Roofing provided us an extremely reasonable price quote to replace all missing and cracked barrel tiles on our commercial building. They accommodated our request to conduct the work on a weekend as not to impact weekly business. Despite being only a roof repair job instead of an entire re-roof, Blake Capps still guaranteed his crew?s workmanship and integrity of the roof. We will definitely use Capps Roofing again if and when we may need such work.
