came and assed job called with price did the job guaranteed the work done no more leak, sounds simple but in todays environment tey were a breath of fresh air honest ,competent and fair. They stand behind there work., I will highly recommend them to anyone who needs roof work.

I had read all the great reviews on Angie's list and made the decision to get Capp's to replace my concrete tile roof with a new metal sheet roof. All of the positive reviews are true--from start to finish I was really impressed. they were quick to respond to my inquiry, answered all my questions, had someone out to measure and give the estimate immediately. They worked quickly and stayed almost 11 hours the first day. The whole project was completed in2-3 days and the clean up was immaculate. The workers were polite and professional, and the total price included everything--no hidden costs. I would highly recommend Capps for any other job and have already told several neighbors, friends and family members what a great job they did. What refreshing experience to deal with a company that really seems to value their customers, follows up to make sure you were satisfied and delivers everything they say they will when they say they will!

They did what they said they would do promptly. The job was finished efficiently and in reasonable time. The workers were tidy and patient with my questions. They all seemed to respect each other and worked well together. I don't know anything about roofing but the new roof looks beautiful and they cleaned up every day when they were finished. I would reccommend this co mpany to anyone and already have ! Capps Roofing has very pleasant employees and management does an excellent job scheduling each procedure. We are very pleased with our decision.

,My roof needed some repairs be cause it was not "flashed" correctly. This cause the roof to break down badly in a couple of areas and required new wood and shingles. This should be in the above box and vice versa.

My experience with Capps Roofing was outstanding. I have never had such professional, courteous and prompt communications with a contractor. I was having a window leak, and suspected that it was actually an issue with my roof. Roy from Capps Roofing came to my home, inspected my roof, and advised me of three areas on my roof that needed to be addressed. He also gave me a quote to install two attic vents. The quote for all services was $1,500, and that is exactly what the final bill came to. The whole process was very efficient. They came to my home and made the repairs, and I paid them with my credit card. I have only great things to say about Capps Roofing, and will certainly call them should I need roofing services in the future.

I contacted the provider, left a voicemail and within a day my i received a call back from Blake Capps, took all my information and informed me that Mark will be calling me sometime during the week to schedule an appointment to evaluate my roof and give me an estimate. He called the next day, scheduled an appointment to come by the following day. The day he was supposed to do the estimate, never showed nor called to cancel. I called left a voicemail inquiring about the appointment and never called back. If this is just an indication of how the work would have been performed, I will not hire them!

These are top tier folks. They went out of their way from the very beginning. My old roof was so old and rotted that a raccoon started chewing his way in one night and Mr. Blake Capps was so obliging to move it to an earlier date and they jumped right on it. The tar paper was delivered Friday and that Monday they had it dried in. A day later the roof was completely installed and I was delighted to be given a rebate on the final price from FPL. This is the most positive experience I ever had with a contractor. I am happy to say that as some time has passed and we have had a few good rainstorms that my roof seems to be leak free. I would highly recommend Capps Roofing!

Although I used another provider for the work, this company was prompt, courteous, and efficient.

Mark Capps, one of the Capps brothers, came out to inspect the leak up in the attic initially. He is very professional and easy to talk with. He got back to me quickly with a contract. As previously, I was impressed with the "hands-on" involvement of the Capps brothers in the business. Although they seem to have a number of well-trained crews who do the work, they are personally involved in the project from start to finish. The work was a two-step process as it was for the previous leak (again, see my earlier review). This time the area ripped up and replaced was about twice as long, going all the way up the valley and a foot or two over the ridge at the top. Viktor, who did our first repair, was on the job again. He appears to be a meticulous craftsman with great attention to detail. He took photos of the area of the ceiling stained by the leak to help orient himself when on the roof. Again, the leak was subtle, not a torrent, and thus tough to be sure where it originated. He decided to do the entire valley so as not to take a chance of missing it. They appeared to do a meticulous job, and cleaned up every scrap of debris before they left the job site. This time they waited a couple of weeks prior to resetting the tiles so as to allow time for me to observe the results during rainstorms. No signs of a leak. Then, as previously, another crew came by to set the tiles. Except for the not-yet-weathered look of the grout at the ridge, you would not know that the tiles had ever been disturbed. These guys are great craftsmen, as well as friendly and easy to interact with. Roy, a supervisor, arrived during the resetting of the tiles to make sure all was proceeding well. I had talked with him several times on the phone previously, and he always followed through.Very professional and also helpful. He noticed that there was a screen on our dryer vent while he was up on the roof. He warned me that not only was this a code violation, but that it was a fire hazard. He removed the screen. I want to thank him for his concern. That was above and beyond! We would highly recommend this company and would use them again.

Requested a quote, can't remember if online or over the phone because I was getting many different estimates. Made appointment for estimate. Roy was punctual and provided estimate. Understood that other estimates were being requested. He followed up with several calls at reasonable intervals. Offered to lower initial estimate to earn our business. This was not the lowest or highest estimate but their willingness to work with us and the amount of follow up made us feel good about the company. Signed contract and knew we had to wait about 5 to 6 weeks. Permit request signed & picked up with excellent communication. We received a call to see if work could begin earlier than expected. Crew arrived on time and worked hard until rain came. Next day they finished removal and dry in. Rain & other work delayed completion for a couple of days but the roof was protected and dry. When the second crew arrived they finished the job in record time. The first and larger crew works well together. Appreciate their team effort and hard work. Blake follows up with calls and communicates through emails and voicemail in timely manner. Best transaction I've had with a company I had never done business with before or knew anyone who had. Completely satisfied with the work and the customer service. Plan on using Capps again when our new home in Ft. Pierce needs a new roof. Clean up was outstanding as well. I have a couple of pillars in my drive way that the truck did a small amount of damage to but I am not concerned about it considering how great the work was done. They replaced a great deal of wood on the home and repaired areas that others would have otherwise left undone because homeowner would not know any better. Extremely grateful for the integrity and honesty of this company.

Capps Roofers are very professional they explain everything in detail and the reason to have it done, These guys went above and beyond to make sure you are please with the job they are doing. I would recommend them to any one with roof problem.

I was told by the other members of the home owners association that I needed to replace my shingles roof, dating back to 2005 after the hurricanes. I have black stains visible from the from and none in the back. They recommended a roofing company who came by, climbed on the roof and presented me an estimate of $8000.00. I wanted another opinion, found Capps on Angie's List, called them and Mr. Capps came today, inspected and gave me the good news that all it needed was cleaning. He recommended a company who does that without pressure cleaning. There is no reason to believe that the shingles will not last the 20 years they are supposed to. Great HONEST service without charge, unbelievable!

This was one of the best experiences I've had with a contractor. I was in need of a complete re-roof for my 20 year old concrete barrel tile roof. I had multiple leaks and had replaced hundreds of roof tiles over the years due to golf ball damage from a nearby golf course. I had researched possible solutions to the broken tile problem and found tiles and an installation method that I felt would greatly reduce the breakage problem. The problem was that I couldn't find a contractor who would work with me on my special situation or if they did, their price was exorbitant. Let's just say that a national, big box retailer wanted 30% more for the job. Capp's Roofing had no problem with the tiles I wanted to use even though they weren't from a vendor they normally use and they had no problem with the installation method I wanted (foam adhesive). In addition, they came in with what I thought was a very reasonable price and they asked for no money upfront. They wanted 50% after the roof was dried-in and the remaining 50% when the job was complete. When does that ever happen? The service they provided was also excellent. It appeared that all work was done by Capp's Roofing and not by subcontractors. The job progressed reasonably quickly with the only delay caused by my special order tiles. Capp's Roofing left a very clean work site at the end of every day. They don't even leave a dumpster in your driveway overnight because they have their own truck that collects and hauls away the old roof. They even rolled the yard with a magnet to pick up any stray tin tabs, etc. at the end of each day. The crews appeared to take pride in their work and did quality work. The only area of improvement I could suggest is that even though the job progressed reasonably quickly, there could have been a bit more communication about the timeline,( i.e., when this phase will be complete and when then next phase will begin, etc.) Though I know this is sometimes difficult due to the multiple jobs going on with a busy contractor (yes, you want to choose a busy contractor, not the one that can start tomorrow.) The best news of all is that nearly two months after installation the new roof system is resisting all assaults from the nearby golf course. Thank you Capp's Roofing for an excellent experience.

Contract provided by email, requesting signature. Had question and requested one last item in the contract. It was not changed in the contract which was resent, but the following note was attached: "Dear xxxxxx, I have re-considered the price. Attached is a revised quote." Price had been bumped up by $4($0,000) figures. I contacted the office requesting a call back, but never got one. Burned twice, without any explanation, is no accident, and makes this a Bad (D) experience.

What they did was excellent. They are professional. They are a higher price than most but we now have a roof that doesn't leak. I got them through Angie's List. Everyone gave them good reviews. They adviced us to get a metallic roof. They installed it and did a good job.

I will judge all other companies by the high water mark of Capps Roofing. First, a confession, I'm a first time homeowner and I bought an old house with an old roof. I was a nervous Nellie that asked loads of amateur questions. I got several quotes from different companies and learned a great deal about roofing in the process. Some roofers charge a flat fee and some charge by the amount of wood they use. Capps gave me a flat rate. They were not the cheapest, but they were the best. Blake and co. were exceptionally patient and thorough with my questions. They did not pressure me or hurry me, but when I was ready to get the job done--so were they. The job was supervised at all times by one of the Capps Roofing Staff. Drop clothes were put down every day, plywood was put on my driveway, workmen were courteous and polite. Trash was picked up everyday. I continue to be amazed that a roofing company during the middle of a Florida summer never raised their voices, no cursing! Gentleman roofers? Who knew there was such a thing! In the middle of the job it rained. Rain poured into my home and a Capp's Roofing employee couldn't get to my house fast enough to fix the problem. I have a gorgeous bright white roof that has saved me money on my electric bill and only glowing compliments for this company. Further testament? The building inspectors LOVE this company. No hassle here--even in a historic district.

Problem was resolved. Capps is a popular provider, so it took longer to get them to do the estimate and schedule the work than I would have liked. Of course, when it rains a lot, a lot of people identify roof leaks, so there's a crush of business art at once. Once on site, they were well informed, efficient, and effective.

he Capps Roofing representative presented well. He came to our home and explained every aspect of the proposal and patiently answered all our questions. Samples of the shingles we were considering were provided and discussed. The people who did the work were experienced, efficient and respectful. I was comfortable having them working on my house when I was home and when I was out running errands. Shrubs were covered. None were damaged. Cleanup was performed at the end of each day and a magnet was used to remove any nails that were on the ground around the house. I highly recommend them and give Capps Roofing an A+ in all aspects of the project. I'm very satisfied and glad I chose them. I would choose them again.

Roof was completed when promised. Very professional, courteous. Crews were experienced, polite, and generally good clean up. Had a few issues with tar on driveway and house, but they followed up and corrected it. Great company with a good work ethic.

They were professional, clean, honest and went above and beyond what the contract said at no additional cost to me. They are flexible and will beat most competitors. I am very thrilled with their work and would happily hire this company again. I have already told my friends. Also, they made recommends for a good gutter company and saved me a lot of money. Very happy with their performance, especially with the flat roof off of the deck.

They quoted me $2,800 to do roof work. I had a second estimate for exact same work and it's $250. That's insane.
