They came and introduced themselves and were quite professional.  They assessed the situation and told me which parts were  missing.  When the parts arrived, I called and they fixed it without any problem and I ended up having a credit to use for the future!

Professional job.

Everything went fine. The work was perfect. They got the job done quickly, they cleaned up after themselves, and the faucet works like it's supposed to. They treated me fine. They were out right away.

While waiting for the part, one of their employees continued to research the problem with the manufacturer of the water heater. To permanently repair it, they would have to uninstall the unit to access a door on the bottom of the unit. With it already being 7-10 years old, I decided to replace the water heater. Scarborough worked with my hectic work schedule. They were always punctual - even early and waited on me to get home. 

Called at 11:00 am to see if someone could check on running toilet and loose faucet assembly.  Appointment was set up between 3:00 pm and 5:00pm the same day.  Mike arrived at 3:15, assessed the problem and corrected both.  He was very professional and left both areas very clean.  Entire process took about 45 minutes.  Would recommend Scarborough for plumbing service.  Very fair and professional.

Everything was great.  The service was prompt and professional, and my sink now drains.

super nice young man did the work within an hour.  He arrived on time, was professional and left all work areas clean.  He didn't try to sell me additional services or find other work to do.  I will definitely use this company again.

My tenants had three minor plumbing complaints: gurgling pipes, which they thought might indicate septic tank problems, dark film showing up in the dishwasher, and a very slow leak near the pump.  There is a disconnected water treatment system in the same lines as the leak and I wanted an opinion about hooking it back up.  I decided to try the 'deal' on Angie's List, which supposedly covered callout plus an hour of work.  I gave Scarborough my tenants phone number but specified that I wanted to be present when they showed up.  My tenants emailed saying the plumber was coming between 3 and 5 pm the next day.  I hit a traffic jam and showed up at 3:05.  Scarborough's guy was just leaving.  I went over his findings with him.  He had scoped the septic and found no problems; he had no explanation for the gunk in the dishwasher, and he was uncertain about various things related to the leak, but semi-recommended adding an in-line filter.  To be fair, the guy said he was a junior person in the company and had been sent out cause his boss was sick.  His instructions apparently didn't include a time specification of 3-5 pm or a specification that the owner was to be present.  I got a feeling he wasn't very experienced; probably ok for well defined tasks, but not really up to diagnosis beyond running a camera down a pipe.  He said his boss would be back in touch with me with an estimate on the cost for fixing the leak and adding an inline filter, and admitted that I'd paid for an hour and he spent much less than that. I have received no call back from his boss.  I am not inclined to call back and have Scarborough work on the leak.  I'm not convinced they know a lot more about the job than I do (I have quite a bit of experience with agricultural irrigation systems, including leaks and inline filters) and I get a sense that they could run up a pretty big bill pretty fast.

I'm not sure how or what could have been done differently when it came to routing the plumbing but I was left with a large area of pipe showing that was not flush within the wall and therefore could not put wall board over the pipes to hide them.  This required some creative effort on my part to cover them.

I called them in the morning and they were there that same afternoon.  They cleared the blockage quickly and worked until the job was done.  Everyone from the plumbers to the office staff were friendly and no nonsense.  Very reasonable price for the work they did.  I would use them again and would recommend them to friends.

I have to commend them for the service they provided. From the office contacts to the plumber on site, everyone was friendly and pleasant to deal with. The old toilet was embedded on the floor and it took a lot of effort to remove. Boy am I glad I had a professional replacing the toilet. It would have been a DIY nightmare. And to boot, I used their Angie's list coupon which made the whole thing very inexpensive.

On Monday, I scheduled the first available appointment for Thursday. My sewer was backing up but my toilets were still working. On Tuesday,it becomes clear that my sewer line was completely clogged. Jessica who manages the office promised she would do her best to get some one out before Thursday. The next morning Mike and  Kyle were at my house at 8:30 AM and my line cleared by 9. They were courteous, professional. and  treated me like a valued customer.   In the future, Scarborough  is definately my Plumber in Gainesville!
