Hunter's Crossing Apartments

I hate living in this complex. The repairs are never completed the first time if at all. The grounds are kept nicely but that's where it stops. They fail to tell you when you move in that you are getting a promotional rate. Before you have been in the apt for 6 months, they start badgering you for a renewal. If you don't sign immediately, the rent can go up as much as $75-$100 a month. The and quot;amenitiesand quot; are a joke. Everything is extra. Add $40/month for a garage, add $40/month for washer dryer, add $20ish for alarm system monitoring.
I moved from a community where the cost of living was higher than Gainesville. For less money, I got 300 square ft. more, a 2 bedroom instead of 1 bedroom, 2 covered, secure, enclosed garage parking spots, unlimited uncovered parking spots, full size washer and dryer. CMC managed properties are a poor value for the dollars you spend.
I can only say that I am too happy to be moving out.

I decided to get a fireplace unit as I was moving in during the winter. What a mistake. The gas company they use is a rip off. They charge twice the rate of local competitors. I reported this to the management. Not sure if they will take action.
