Family owned & operated with 9 employees. All workers are true employees, we pay payroll taxes,unemployment and workers compensation on all our people. We do not utilize day laborors, free lance tree climbers or spot labor to staff our company. We carry occupational licensing for Alachua county. Full Contractors General Liability with limits of $1,000,000 and $2,000,000 aggregate. All employees have valid Florida drivers licenses, have been backround checked, and require drug testing for Workers Compensation coverage. Bidding and tree evaluations are performed by a Certified Arborist thru the International Society of Arborculture,license # FL1194A, or Arborist in training, sitting for the certification exam in the near future. Bids and verbal evaluations of tree conditions are free. Verification of arborists credentials are available on line at www.treesaregood.org. Angie's list members will receive stump grinding services for no charge on trees that are removed. Some limitations apply. Wood chips are always available for only a small delivery charge. It is our objective to provide our customers with the most up to date science about their trees, and help to make decisions that allow us to live among them.

I had another tree service give me an estimate and he wanted $50 more just for one tree and said it would be an all day job and worth every penny. Gator Tree Service had it down in one hour. Plus did ten times more work.
His crew is really awesome too. They are very respectable and polite. One of them told me he accidentally bumped my mail box. It was old and ugly. He told me if I wanted to get a knew one he would put it back on the post for me. So I went to Walmart and bought one. He put it together and back on the post. I told him he did a huge favor by bumping it. :-)
I have not been in the mood to do any yard work until the trees came out and my yard looks so much better. The next day I mowed and raked leaves. It felt good to just do that much. Today I am going to Lowe's to get flowers, mulch and my Pygmy Date Palms that Anthony recommended because I love palms.

Anthony and his team provide professional and efficient service. They have great equipment to get the job done right at a great price. This my second time to use Gator Tree Service. Both times were pleasant experiences. I highly recommend them.
