Had to shut down pump at dusk on Saturday when water suddenly started spewing from a blown gasket, no water.  Found these folks on Angie's list with all those A's that night.  Read on their web-site they were a 24-7 outfit so I called them on Sunday morning.  A man named Tim answered the phone right away, then came out right away.  From the time of the phone call to the time he pulled away (and I had water again) was about 3 hours.  His travel time was at least an hour to get here.  He repaired the problem, re -primed the pump, and re-set the filter.  He really knew his stuff.  I was totally impressed with this company and the employee I met, Tim.

First of all I contacted them based on Angie's list reviews. The person I spoke to on the phone was knowledgeable and personable, and promised a call back in time for me to get home to meet the technicians. They called me in time to meet them at my house and inspect the system. They were able to quickly determine the problem and make recommendations to get the work done. 
After getting a detailed estimate they did all the necessary work on the spot. They had the parts they needed and the knowledge to get them installed quickly and properly. I have to say I am impressed with the work. It looks professional and works great. I would definitely recommend the Gainesville Pump team. Mike and Tim did a great job and I felt the price was fair. My phone call was answered personally, and Mike and Tim arrived within the hour as they stated on the call. They are courteous, knowledgeable and professional. The quickly replaced a bad fitting and section of pipe, and ensured the tank had a proper air charge and that everything was working correctly.They were great, getting the job completed in about an hour, and taking time along the way to explain the workings of things, and what to watch out for in the future. Great service, very reasonable price! I have used Gainesville Pump in the past, and will definitely look to call them again for any future issues..

It went well as usual. They showed up promptly and got to work. Quickly finished the job. Did not know if the quality would remain after the tragic death of the owner. They seem dedicated to continue do provide quality service. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone

Well workers, Mike & Tim, arrived at my home at the appointed time,
and without delay went to work diagnosing the problem( I was not
getting water, though the pump ran continuously).  In short order,
they determined that the pump was failing and that I would need a
new one.  I was pleasantly surprised that they had just the right one
on their truck.  They worked fast and with skill and competence.  Also,
these gentlemen were congenial, willing to show me what they were
doing and why, and on top of that, were happy answer my questions. 
Altogether, my experience with Gainesville Pump was very satisfactory.

You won't get a better job anywhere else. Dennis, the owner, personally answered our weekend call and scheduled us for next-day service since it wasn't an emergency. 

Steve was punctual, very courteous, and extremely knowledgeable about water conditioning systems. Our system was 14 years old and after examining it, Steve showed us why it would no longer work so we made plans for a new one to be installed the next day. Steve again arrived punctually and worked very efficiently with careful attention to all the aspects of the installation. He actually left the work area cleaner than he found it, and the installation was truly 'picture perfect' with the equipment and new piping straight and level! Price was very competitive, Steve's technical and product knowledge were superior, and the service truly unequaled in our experience.  We are very satisfied customers. Gainesville Pump does everything right.

Good. We had a bent casing which required a special pump.

While having dying or diseased trees removed from the back yard in March 2013, a branch accidentally fell on the pump and broke the pipe and the electrical connection.  The tree surgeon called Gainesville Pump to have them come repair the pump because I had no water in the house.  As usual (I've been using the services of Gainesville Pump for the past approximately 25 years), they came promptly as soon as they finished the job they were working on and fixed the broken pipe and electrical connection.  However, they noticed the pipe had rusted through to the inside so they showed it to me and advised me to have the pipe replaced after the flurry of activity quieted and before I landscaped where the trees were removed close to the pump, They also showed me where rust was beginning to form at the bottom of the water tank.  When asked, they gave me a "ball park" estimate of what a new bladder tank would cost.
When I called them in April 2013 about replacing the rusted pipe and water tank, they came promptly.  They kept me informed about what they were finding as they performed the tasks and got my ok before installing the check valve because that was not part of the original agreement.  They also checked the age of the pump and discussed whether to replace it or not.  The performance check verified that leaving it in place for now was ok.
They made me feel like a valued customer by giving me a loyalty discount on the final cost.  I had a follow up phone call the following week to ensure that everything was working fine--or they would make it right.

The process went smoothly and quickly. They came right on time and were done within two hours. We were encouraged to ask questions and he made sure we really understood what was going on with our system.

Dennis and Steve have always been very responsive to water problems. I've had everything done over the years from well drilling, pump replacement and small issues in between.

They showed up when schedued, performed the modifications at the price quoted. The new updated systems provides clear clean water.

We are in the process of buying a house, and wanted to get the well inspected. Our home inspector recommended this company, and I gave them a call. Eventhough I called late afternoon, Dennis was able to fit me into his schedule the next day. He arrived with an assistant, on time, and very pleasant and professional.
It was a bit of a search for the well, as there were no markings above-ground. In fact, the home inspector, real estate agent and I had spent quite some time previously trying to locate it, and when we called up the company that had originally installed the well - NOT Gainesville Pump! -, they were very short on the phone, saying that they did not keep records for more than five years, and would thus not be able to help us (talk about customer service!).  Anyway, Dennis and his assistant didn't give up and eventually located it. He showed me the piping, explained to me what it meant to have the well sub-surface level, inspected all of the other well equipment, and finally did a quick water test (looking at pH and iron content). Finally he left me estimates of different options (eg. above ground casing vs new tank, piping, and electrical, etc), explaining to me what should be done at least and what could wait.
Overall, very pleased with his prompt and punctual service. Though I haven't "shopped around" for rates, his prices seem very reasonable.  If we end up closing on this house, this will be my go-to company for anything well-related!

My pump stopped working. I called and they asked if I had water which I did not. Someone came out the day I called.  He diagnosed the problem and fixed it inless than 2 hours.  I had to have the box on top of my pump replaced as well as a smaller box that ants had gotten into.  Very pleasant and professional.  Have used them many times and would highly recommend them.

They bent over backward to solve my problem. They are very pleasant and well trained and I would recommend them to my best friend.

Phoned, got advice on a temporary fix and came later that day and put in a more permanent solution

He pulled up the well pipe and installed a new one, then installed the submersible pump. He deepened the well by eight feet. He showed up on time and worked efficiently even through rainy weather. I haven't had any problems with his work. He's reliable, which is hard to find in this day and age.

Excellent to work with. Had the parts needed on the truck. From the time the problem was found until repaired and working approx. 90 minutes. Could not ask for better.

Excellent service. Checked out my system thoroughly. Another company installed the complex system. Gville Pump corrected a couple of items on the system. Gave me a good education that will save me money in the future. There are parts that need replacement on a routine basis. I will not use the company that sold me the system but will use Gville Pump in the future to perform these required maintenance. Set up a one year follow up . This is the second technician I have dealt with at Gville Pump and both were outstanding. I know the good well company to call on.
