Hired this company due to them replacing some windows. Older couple. Thought they were trustworthy. they started in 2010 to gut 1/2 our home. Once the major tear down, we noticed the beginning of some problems. Sub-contractors were hired and they were of very poor quality. Inappropriately covered our roof and our bathroom flooded. Quality of workmanship poor. Noticed a wall was not even straight. Had to point out problems. Sub-contractors were never the same people. Promised high quality cabinents only to find out wood was warped. They never addressed problems until we pointed them out and they would disagree there was a problem. Sub-contractors were not getting paid we heard and neve showed up. We were initially promised 6-9 months, and main contractor Bill Brumfield would laugh if we asked if would be done before year end. TWO YEARS later project still not completed. We had to fire when contractor was found to just be difficult and not address our problems. Lights over our island were not centered and we waited to see if they would tell us. TWO weeks went by when we mentioned and Bill and Phyllis' response was 'we were talking about that'. Bathroom grout cracks were filled with different colored grout when mentioned pieces missing. Wall started cracking and we were ignored. Ended up terminating as they removed Port-a-Potty when workers were still present and used our new bathroom. We billed for outstanding work with refusal to pay. Horrible. Sad we trusted a couple we though were so nice. Sad.
