Murrell Inc Appliance Service

Do not schedule appliance repairs with Murrell, because they are not reliable, and will cancel with you at their convenience. I had scheduled Murrell to come to my house to fix my Lynx grill...they are an authorized repair shop for Lynx. The repairs were scheduled 10 days out. The morning they were to arrive, they called and said they couldn't come because of the wind. When I was explaining my grill was in an enclosed lanai, the person (Mary) rudely cut me off. Then after a couples minutes wait, another person (Tim) came on the line. When I explained my grill was not exposed to the wind, he changed the resin to 'it's because of where I am in the route...there are many other service calls around there'. When I said "Good, your service person will be close by, so he can come to my house", he said 'we're not coming to your house' and hung up. Not how you treat a customer.

I have an outdoor refrigerator that was only cooling to 39 degrees and was frosting up. The repair tech that arrived was very courteous and professional. Upon completion of the work, he explained what he had found and accomplished... so far, so good. However, after the tech left, the fridge never cooled below 48 degrees. I called the office to let them know that whatever they did actually made things worse. I was told by the owner, Mary, that they would not be able to come back out until the following Monday (another full week). When I protested that "THEY" were the party responsible for the refrigerators worsening performance, and should move me up in the que, she just said that was the best she was willing to do. Basically, Mary is scheduling new jobs before completing current jobs. Needless to say, I am very disappointed with this decision and would absolutely NOT recommend this company.

It was a disaster. 3 visits and the appliance was still broken. $275 spent. They refused to refund a cent.

This was a very bad experience. (see above) The fact that they kept ALL of my money and did not fix my appliance is just appalling. This repair service lacks integrity! Shame!

Great! The technician was a professional that really knew what he was doing. The company scheduled his visit and then called me to notify me of the time frame. He called to confirm that he was on his way. Very considerate. He had researched the appliance and knew just what to test. He successfully repaired my appliance and it works very well once again. I considered his bill reasonable considering the time spent and distance traveled to help me since I live on an island.

Water filter leak. Ordered new filter thru company. Service person very helpful and professional.

They were very courteous on the phone when I called to make the appt. Unlike other places I called, she was able to get someone out within 5 days. The repair was done quickly and the dishwasher is working well again

The dryer needed a new belt to start working. The technician recommended a repair kit that would extend the life of the (older) dryer at only a slightly higher cost than simply replacing the belt. He did the work, got the dryer working well, showed me all of the old parts he had replaced, and hopefully extended the life of the dryer. Company was responsive, punctual, and professional. Highly recommended.

the washer could not be repaired. It was an older machine and we expected to have to replace.

My ice maker would not stop making ice, though full. They were willing to talk me through what to do with it short term since I was leaving town the next day, and then when I was in town next they came and repaired it. Diagnosed problem over the phone so they could be sure to have the potential parts on the truck, called the day of to say when they were coming, arrived on time, and fixed it quickly. I had also called the night before the appointment and left a message about a new issue with our fridge and he came prepared with parts to help with that issue also. Wonderful all the way around.

When I called them, the lady knew exactly what was wrong, they came out with the part, and it has been working ever since.

they knew exactly the problem with new dishwashers leaking. we used liquid detergent and these units take only dry detergent. they fixed them quickly and for a fair price.

Took two separate tries but so far dishwasher is working OK.
Maybe it could have been fixed first time?
I'd call them again ... nice people. But still strange that it took two tries.

My washer makes a very loud noise on the spin cycle.  He researched it
for me and said it would be too costly to repair that I should get a new
washer. He also advised me on detergents and gave me lots of
information.  I was very grateful! 
He was very responsive and helpful!
