Auto Sales
This problem happened on 7/7/13. Below is a copy of both an e-mail and a letter sent to the owner of the dealership. To date no reply or contact from dealer

Let me start by telling you that I have never written an auto dealer or manufacturer about any auto or auto related experience in my life.
The middle of last week I visited your Treasure Coast, Fl location where I previously purchased a new 2011XJ for myself and a new Ranger Rover Sport for my wife. I had every intention of making a deal on a new XK. The salesman Howard Norup was quite helpful and we discussed at length the virtues of Purchase vs Lease. I decided that the current lease deal offered worked well for me and told him to find me a white one. We worked out the numbers and agreed on a price for my 2011 XJ ($39,500).
The deal dragged on for 3 extra days due to a computer crash at the dealership. Finally, I'm advised that the car is here and the paperwork is done and ready to complete. I empty my car, get a new FL Insurance ID card, have the plates taken off my car and sit down with the finance manager. It was at this point that we note that the paperwork is nothing like the agreed upon deal (problem on new car not trade). Both Howard and the finance manager discuss the problem and tell me that they will speak with the general manager and resolve everything. Everything is fine up to this point. Your people are great.
I have never met a manager as rude and curt. Our total conversation did not last a minute. At which point they put plates back on my car and I left. This is no way for a service business to treat a long term customer. Howard is well aware that in addition to the XK, my wife will have a new '14 Ranger Rover Sport as soon as they are available. I feel bad that Howard will loose both sales.
