i called this morning and they showed up an hour later , replaced the heater and charged me what they quote me .

I contacted him.  He asked when I wanted it complete.  Since it was going into a home that I have for investment purposes (vacant), I told him anytime in the next couple days.
 It was about 6:30PM.  He asked me if I could be at the property at 7:30 and I said sure if you want me to be.  He then said that he would see me then.  I laughed and said- he didn't have to come that night. 
 He was there at 7:30PM and was ready to go.  He had the tools and the new water heater.
 He isolated the old heater, hooked a pump to it and had it empty in 10 minutes.  He swapped it out in about 20 minutes then filled out the paperwork and was ready to leave.  HE takes only Cash or Credit ( No Checks)... but that was fine with me.  Once the paperwork was complete he checked the water heater was actually heating with a local faucet.
 At about 8:10 he was on his way and I went back to my own home for the evening, satisfied that he did a great job.  IN SHORT; he gave me the kind of service we all hope for... he installed the unit, and did it when I could support his being there... He was very courteous to me every minute he was there.  I would recommend his service to my own mom.
