After posting my situation on Angie's List, Sunset Air immediately contacted me to follow-up on the posting. Sunset air proposed to replace the existing coil or discount the cost of the coil on a new system. My system was close to 9 years old, and It made more sense to me to replace the system, and the new installation went very well. The new system has a 12 year parts warranty, and 1 year labor warranty. The installation team explained the importance of yearly maintenance in order to keep the warranty in effect.

I am very impressed with Sunset Air's commitment to their reputation, and service, and would recommend them for your work.

Sunset Air installed our new A/C a year ago and I could not be more pleased with the service they provided.  Ryan Lane and everyone I have dealt with at Sunset Air has been outstanding.  No high pressure sale tactics -- they just provided information and let the customer decide.

Everything went well, any questions that we had regarding the care of the unit were answered.  Asked about filters, flushing of the line any other maintenance information that would help keep the unit running properly.  We were advised to make our next appointment as soon as we knew of a date because times can get filled up quickly.

The technicians Dave and his partner were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They were explain things as they went alkng. They went a over and beyond what we expected, and left the area clean when done. They wore shoe covers whenever they came in the house. A great company with great employees.

They actually called before coming with an accurate time frame, showed up a few minutes early(amazing), were extremely polite and professional. We had a tech named Ryan and would definitely request his services in the future, as he was very thorough, informative and detailed. The installation went well but the installers made one mistake which resulted in one pipe connection being loose resulting in the cooling agent leaking out and the system shutting down one day after the installation.  The following morning a technician came out and fixed the problem and the system is working fine.

iMy A/C quit cooling and I looked on Angies List and found a company with a high rating and lots of favorable reviews. Called them and they came the same day. They found that the unit had frozen up and the motor was not working. They didn't have the part in stock but were able to get it and install it the next day. I was very impressed with their work and scheduled a general service. The scheduler told me about a special they had on Angies that would save me money. I purchased it online and when they came to do the service, it was paid in full. 
Will definitely use them in the future.

They have made recommendations for our HVAC system.  Others had quoted for us to have our whole system replaced but Sunset gave us a very logical and cost effective solution at much less cost.  We have used several other service providers over the years and none of them have made us as happy as Sunset Air.  Great company with great people.

Al was very professional and went right to work.  He explained what he was doing and provided analytical data via email as baseline for future comparisons in evaluating our AC system's performance.  The service agreement  provides for 2 semi- annual cleanings and system checks.  I was very pleased with the service and will definitely continue with Sunset Air.

veryOur air conditioner was down completely and they got us worked in as soon as possible.  They brought us a portable unit to help cool our condo until they were able to put in the new unit.(it was in the high 80's to around 90).  Everyone involved was friendly and very professional.  The installation crew did a nice job of cleaning up after the job was completed.  We were very happy with completed job.
