Terrible - They installed a new tub in my home. In less than a year, the tub rusted through and is damaging the floor below. These guys say it is not their responsibility because their "plumber" installed it, not them. No integrity whatsoever. Remember - if your insurance company uses them to provide an estimate - you do not have to hire them to do the work - you can hire your own contractor and I urge you to do so.

Absolutely horrible! I have been living like in a tent for seven and a half months. The only sink in my house was the laundry room tub, my kitchen was on top of the dryer. Paul Davis has put this job off for so long it's absolutely ridiculous. they keep telling me b******* lies and excuses sometimes they don't work for two and three weeks at a time sometimes they work 2 hours in 2 weeks. when they do work they make mistakes constantly they've done the work out of the order of process that should have been done and then cannot fix what they've already messed up. They told me when they started it would be 3 to 4 weeks it's now 7 1/2 months and they're not even close to half done with half of the house. When I look up reviews for Paul Davis I see the exact same thing they have done to me. They've painted over the outlets they've lost all the receptacle covers they've thrown away lots of stuff that's needed. they've painted things the wrong color and stand right there and lie to my face that it's the same color and it is not. Then when they test the color they see it is way off. Then they go back to the insurance company to get more money to paint the things that they should have originally painted. They put the baseboards on before they fix the drywall and painted the walls. Then they tried to fix the holes in the wall above the baseboard and got the mud and the caulk all over the top of the baseboard and no even lines any place everything is wavy even the cut at the ceilings. They painted over the white aluminum windows with the wall color paint it looks horrible and they're not supposed to paint aluminum anyway. then when they tried to take the paint off the windows they took it off the walls around the windows and huge amounts and just left it like that did not even try to paint the walls again. They left brackets for the window shades on the walls and tried to paint around them and didn't even paint above the brackets in place on the visible wall. The door trim is a half an inch from touching the floor and they just left it like that. But they put the baseboard all the way to the floor so where the baseboard is up against the doorway looks really horrible. so then he tells me they'll just caulk that half inch Gap, yep, that will work and look really good, not! Please be aware this has been seven and a half months that I've been living like this they're using up my life with constant mischeduling that I am always here for and that many many times they are not, even though they call in the morning and tell me they're going to be here at 9:00 and then don't show up till 3:00, I can barely go do my grocery pickup because they use up my days waiting for them. they also told me to go around the house when they're done everyday and put blue tape on the bed work, I have maybe 50 to 60 pieces of blue tape all over the house that also takes me hours to do, and then when they come they take the blue tape off and spots and don't fix them. All I get constantly our lies and excuses about why things are wrong. After going through this many many times the last day they were here, he finally told me another lie and excuse that the door trim was like that originally where there was like a half inch gap between the door trim and the door frame. They have just gotten paid for the second or third time to repair the wall in that area so that the baseboard and door trim line up. So they made it like that it was not like that originally, so when he lied to me that time I blew up and told them to get out of my house. Now I have not heard back from them in over a week and I have contacted the insurance company numerous times throughout this entire job telling them and showing them pictures of how bad the work is. But Paul Davis has been paid for most of this work so I don't know how we will get the money back to finish the job which is over half of the house still needs done and the other half still needs finished. I believe everybody at Paul Davis is trained to act like this, they get a huge check from the insurance company then hire the lowest paid workers they can find to do the jobs. I'm not saying these are bad workers they work hard and they're proud of what they do but they're just not qualified to do fine, detail interior work light needs done. This is a million dollar waterfront home in the work they are doing is worse than a trailer in a trailer park. Please please be aware of this Paul Davis company I have read other reviews on other sites that say the same exact thing that I am saying. They also painted the baseboard the wrong color than the doors and door trim and I told them that while they started doing the baseboards and they said oh no we checked it it's the same color. Then after they were done they saw that it was a different color much whiter than the original doors and door trim. So then they went back to the insurance company and asked for more money to paint all the doors and the door trim the same color of the wrong color that they painted the baseboard. Hey also have mortar and paint and caulk all over the brand new floor and cabinets and they're having trouble getting it off so they just left it. They also painted over the electrical outlets and lost all the plates probably through them out like they threw out all the plumbing, but luckily I saved it because the plumber needed some of

I told the UPC insurance adjuster if I were bidding out a job, Paul Davis would not be invited to the bid – that’s how poor they were in our insurance restoration. As it turns out Paul Davis was one of UPC’s better contractors. If that is the case, I would hate to see the folks at the bottom of the list. First, and I am sure this is a standard line to make someone feel good and that they account for something, they will tell you they can have folks onsite the next day. Well, that is myth #1, they can’t and didn’t. Paul Davis and their representative basically showed little to no interest in our project until it was too late and things had been done incorrectly. First, the painters showed up and had no idea what they were supposed to paint! They had no paint and had no clue what was going on. Fortunately, we’re honest and told them only what they were supposed to paint. Still, they managed to screw that up by painting over electrical outlets and getting paint on the ceramic tile floor. They also managed to toss out all of the switch and outlet covers so we had to replacement them. I know that is minor but it is also representative of their attention to detail which to me is a reflection of the contractor’s (Paul Davis) attention. Paul Davis’s tile person was the absolute worse. Not only can he not lay tile but he cleaned up his equipment in our landscaping! So, imagine all the gray mortar in your black mulch and on your plants (one of ours died due to all the mortar on it). He also got mortar on the red brick paver driveway and was supposed to clean it up, which he didn’t. I can not recommend this company. They are very poor in customer service and caring about a quality job.
