While I'm absolutely confident all their technicians are great, we use JJ on the regular for all our daily plumbing issues. JJ is THE MAN! Honest, trustworthy, incredibly knowledgeable and as polite as they get. His work always impresses us and he give you a real assessment without trying to push anything on you that you don't need. He has worked with my mother in law, my parents and my fiancé and I on our homes and he has truly become part of the family!
I would also like to give a big shout out to the Re-Pipe crew. Ive never seen anything like what those guys were able to accomplish in a day. My mother in law has a two floor condo in The Forest Country Club and in *1* day these guys were able to Re-pipe a 2200sqft 3 full bath place.. Again all the guys that showed up were incredibly polite and made my mother in law feel completely comfortable while they worked in her place.
There is a comfort in knowing when you have a problem you have the right people to help you solve it. Aztec Plumbing are undoubtably "those people" for all your plumbing needs. They truly offer next level service.
Sincerely,
The Harts & The Germers
The installation was efficient and clean. We are very pleased and will use them again.
From their listing:
Service Area
Lee, Collier & Portions Of Charlotte County.
I live in Orangetree which is in Collier county, but they indicated they do not service this far out in Collier.
Just keep this in mind if you are looking for plumbing services, or purchasing a "deal" that you might want to make sure that they will actually provide services to your location.
I would have thought a plumber that is located in Fort Myers and services Collier county would service Orangetree, since I'm as close to Fort Myers as I am to downtown Naples.
Having been a member of Angie's List for many years, this was probably the most frustrating experience I have ever had. After going down the list of "24 hr Emergency Plumbing Services, it took me 3 hrs of calling and waiting on 5 other companies before I called Aztec (who should be at the top of the list), all you others should not advertise a service if you can't or won't fulfill it, I would call that false advertising). I am so irritated about the companies that didn't respond at all to the after hours call to answering services and wait, just to get no return call or get a call back and say, "I cant fix that" as water is shooting out of the side of my house from main water line. Hands down, Aztec and their employee and I'll just call him "A", went above and beyond for an after hours emergency call and repaired the leak in my main water line so that we could have running water by morning for my son to go to school. I wouldn't think twice about calling them again, as a matter of fact, I wouldn't call or recommend anyone else. Being a small business owner myself, I know how important it is to have employees like "A" that make your company stand out from the rest, and that he did. Thank you
I cannot speak to the quality of the work done by this company, because I never had any work done by them, just the estimate. They might do very good work and be very professional based on other reviews and the fact that they got someone right out to me very quickly to do an estimate (within an hour or so, as a matter of fact), and the person who came to do the estimate seemed and acted very professional. However, know that their price might often be quite high compared to other companies - in fact, when I balked at the estimate, the person actually said that they are an expensive company and their prices are usually higher than average! Guess they must not need the business very much.
They estimated $1500 to just tie into the existing line, or $1650 to lay all new pipe all the way to the house. When I asked why it would be $1500 to just tie in (this job is almost all labor, mostly in digging, as the materials are only a little PVC pipe and fittings), but only $150 more than that to do between twice and three times as much digging to go all the way to the house, I got no clear answer at all, just that "well, we'd already be here" or something like that. For a job that is almost all labor, it should just simply be time and materials, and based on a set hourly labor rate times however many hours they take to do the job - not just throwing a total price at you which they're going to get no matter how long they actually take to do it (depending on how many roots they have to cut, etc.)
One other company that I also didn't end up using because of repeated no-shows (Mr. Rooter Plumbing) had estimated $800 - $1000 for this same job, but the real kicker is that the company I ended up using, United Plumbing (extremely pleased - see my 1/22/15 review for them), which did quote simply on time and materials, sent two plumbers out who had the whole trench (to tie in) dug in one hour, and completed the whole job from start to finish in 3 1/2 hours, charging me less than $500 total. So Aztec would have been 3 times more expensive! Ouch.
