I called Advanced Air for a second quote on adding blown insulation to my home. The first quote was from West Coast Insulation, a company I'd used when I was building homes. Their quote was $740. Advanced Airs quote was $2400. $2400! The salesman also tried to convince me that my ductwork needed replacement to the tune of $4400 and he offered me a payment plan. Whoo, boy..., $6800! I couldn't help but laugh and asked the salesman if he was serious. He stammered and said other companies might damage my ductwork. The moral of the story..., find a company who works with contractors, not the guys who advertise and try to pull this stuff on residential customers who have no idea what these things cost.

"Unfortunately, We can't compete with the $740 bid. In fact we couldn't even purchase the material we intended to install for less than $1200. Perhaps the bids weren't for the same thing? Advising someone that their 30 year old duct system needed to be replaced is a good advice. Why waste money insulating when your old leaky duct system will continue to cost you money. We strive to provide the best value. That doesn't usually mean the lowest price."

I just didn't like that they are doing my maintenance, and I was keeping on top of the system and a month later it wasn't working.

Had an appointment for 8:30 this morning. At 8:30 he was no show and i called the office. I was told he "had a meeting." Was later called and told that the sales person had not been notified of ate appointment made by a clerk. I won't do business with a company like that.

They have been pretty good over the years. I am satisfied with their work. Their price is pretty standard. We have had them for several years and all the time I liked the technician they sent. However, I did not like the technician they sent the last time. Although in the end, he did a fairly decent job. I am planning to look out for other providers meanwhile I will continue with Advanced Air & Refrigeration, Inc.

The most recent visit was a success in that they showed up on time, they were clean, they were thorough, they were courteous and they added a little extra value by adding to our annual checklist an unexpected item in cleaning our dryer vent. This was a nice surprise for no extra cost. They also do a nice job of printing all of their diagnostic results on the checklist so I know the work was done correctly and I can compare stats from previous visits if necessary. Another added touch (and the reason I am writing this report) is that they called me 2 days after the visit and did a brief survey to make sure that I was satisfied with the visit. That shows me that they care about customer satisfaction AND they have a good process to ensure customer sat. I am a business owner and I admire and appreciate their commitment - I do and will continue to recommend them to others in my neighborhood.

I called for a warranty issue and ended up paying him $90 to look at the equipment. He never checked anything, never brought in his tools or guages. He wouldn't look for warranty issues unless I agreed to pay him to perform a complete maintenance checkup, which had just been performed by a different company. I feel like I've been robbed!

"I apologize for any confusion Member may have had. We will refund his $90 immediately. We charge a standard $90 trip charge for all service calls. From our visual inspection Member's units were in need of maintenance. Manufacturer warranties do not cover preventitive maintenance costs. In fact manufacturers can void your warranty if an annual preventitive maintenance is not performed."

He was very pleasant and engaging. He didn't find anything wrong with the ducts. There were no problems. He was on time. He did a thorough job looking at my ducts. His responsiveness was good.

The work was excellent. My wife found them on Angie?s List, and she was very pleased with them; that is why we chose to go with them. The price was reasonable for the work they did. They were very courteous and everything else. We have had no complaints about them. I have already recommended them to some people.

"Unfortunately, according to the Department of Energy 85% of ductwork is incorrectly sized and leaking. Sure you can, and many do, use a band-aid approach to fix ductwork. But you usually get what you pay for. When you contact us we are going to give you our best advice and treat your home like it's ours."

Our salesman was Jeff Young was very professional and informative explaing our needs as well as the system to us. The workcrew was courteous and clean and the job was finished on time as promised. They are very attentive with follow-up making sure you are pleased. This year when it was time to replace the filter on the unit they sent a reminder card for us to call and make an appointment. Unfortunately this year my husband was quite ill. On the day of our appointment I was taking my husband to the car to drive him to the clinic when the Advanced Air Serviceman pulled in our driveway, on time for our annual service maintainnance appointment. He was so understanding when I explained I had forgotten and had to take my husband in on a semi emergency. We re-scheduled our maintaince with Advanced Air for another day and again they were on time and very couteous. We have recommended Advanced Air to a friend who also purchased their unit from them this year. I highly recommend Advanced Air.

They were great when they came out two years ago. The receptionist I spoke to when I called them to make an appointment this year at about 4 o?clock in the afternoon said that all the guys had gone home and she couldn?t make an appointment. There was no point of having her there and so I have mixed feelings about them. I didn?t try to get another appointment. They do good work but they should have been able to fix an appointment for me. I spent around $100 for the maintenance check and I think there was a coupon. It was a special offer. I was impressed with one of the thing that the air conditioning guy said about my system and so I thought that it was pretty good. He was on time to get the job done. The price charged by them was good and fine. I might use their services again.

I used this company twice within a month. The first time was for a temporary, low-priced unit to cool an investment property. Other companies wanted to up-sell the whole system, but Jeff actually listened and sold me exactly what I wanted and needed. The second time was when my whole house system at home failed about a week before I was going to replace it. Jeff came on a Sunday evening to try and help. He scheduled the install for Monday, but the unit I wanted wasn't in the warehouse. It was trucked in and installed on Tuesday. I could not be happier with this company or Jeff. By the way, after each purchase and install, they came back out to check the units and then sent me a box of goodies from the Popcorn Factory.
