Prompt response, explained everything, great advise on care of the system.

Will not call again, and professional. I called after they relate they said the service person was still another job. They never came by a call to reschedule.

Made an appointment and they never showed up or called.

Polite. Answered all my questions. Worked quickly. Left everything in good order.

Provider arrived within an hour of our call. The service man was prompt, courteous, efficient and obviously knew what he is doing. We would recommend this service to anyone needing it from this provider.

At the beginning of February I looked through Angie’s List to find a reputable company that would go to a rental property and conduct a thorough inspection and if needed pump the septic tank. I informed the GATOR Septic who has an “A” rating I wasn’t sure exactly what the problem was, but that I needed an expert to inform me if there were roots in the tank, whether a new tank was needed, and what could be causing sewage to be backing up into the house. Doris assured me they would take care of it, and that if there were additional costs besides just an overall inspection and pumping they would inform me. The inspection/pumping was conducted, report was provided stating tank was in good condition, and all was well until less than a month later when sewage was backing up into the house again. I called to have someone go back out to the house. The company contact was a bit rude and informed me that they would send someone back out to the house. This time I was informed that it could be the drainfield, and that septic tanks can fill up quickly. Two other companies came out to provide an estimate on the work needed and an inspection. First, both companies listed that the tank needed to be replaced and repairs were not an option. Secondly, there was approximately a 12inch hole in the tank, and third the pipe going back to the drainfield was broken off, therefore not returning to the drainfield. I contacted the company to inform them that not 1, but 2 technicians from GATOR Septic missed a huge hole in the tank and the broken pipe going back to the drainfield. Doris indicted that the pipe could have been broken off after they were out there. NOT LIKELY, since it had only been a month, and there was already an issue with the flow from the tank to the drainfield. Even if that had been the case, why was a huge hole in the tank missed by two technicians, but two other companies quickly identified it. I ask Doris how the company was going to make it right since if they had done a thorough inspection and noted the broken pipe and hole in the tank I would have been well ahead of the game and not had to pay another company to pump the tank. After, some back and forth she agreed to sending me $50. Even half of the amount paid would have been a better proposal or another tank pumpout which she said they would not do. Even after mentioning ANGIE’s LIST and their A reputation, $50 was what they felt would make it right. She did apologize for the 2 technicians missing the large hole. After all that, over a month later I have yet to receive the $50 I was promised. I would NEVER USE or recommend GATOR Septic. From my experience the only rating they should receive is an FF (only allows one F). Even the minimal amount they were to send to right the poor service, and their word meant nothing to them. I would recommend to all to BEWARE of companies listed on Angie’s List with A ratings. It’s a great tool, but still do your research and don’t rely on a company’s rating.

After doing a lot of digging- they found both septic tanks! The county map had one marked, however it was marked incorrectly. The gentlman that came to our home found them and they were under our concrete walk ways! He said he would have his boss call us that afternoon to schedule an appointment to raise the tank access. We got the call and they are willing to come first thing tomorrow morning since we have to leave town. GREAT SERVICE. GOOD PEOPLE. Hard to find that now a days....

I called A GATOR SEPTIC SVC INCto come out and give me an estimate on my septic tank. Barney came for the estimate and Tony came out for the service. They were very pleasant and didn't pressure me in to the service. I did have them empty the tank. They went above and beyond the call of duty and went beyond what was required.. They are very professional and very informative. They were just fantastic. They are my septic tank people from this pioint forward and I would recommend them.

Don't plant trees near septic tank, can cause major damage if not caught early enough. Thanks John for the heads up.

This company is top shelf in every way from contact to completion. They are prompt, knowledgable and the lines of communication are open throughout the entire process. I am very pleased.

I called Monday morning for a routine inspection and clean-out and was told they would have someone between 9am and 3pm on Tuesday. Tony arrived around 10am. Professional, detailed, and a hard-worker. He answered all my questions and explained everything he was doing. He obviously knows his trade. The$265 bill was well worth it. I told Tony to schedule us again three years from now. I found Gator Septic via Angie's list. Now I know why they have 16 A's in the past three years. Finding a reliable septic service in Lee County was the main reason I joined Angies list and it has already paid off.....signed Happy Customer

I just did. They replaced my septic tank cover and did a super job. High standards and attention to detail! Said and acted like they had years of experience. This is how to do business...say what you can do..do what you said you could do...repeat! Thank you Dave and Tony for a job well done.

Appointment was scheduled the day after phone call, they were extremely easy on my yard, tearing up bare minimum for them to perform pumpout. The whole procedure took about 30 minutes form start to finish. I am very satisifed with the service, the cost and the professionlism they provided. I will recommend them to neighbors and friends and will use them in the future

I've used Gator twice now. It's important to me to have a good relationship with good contractors. I have apartments in Pennsylvania and Florida and manage all my own units. Being able to call from Philadelphia and have someone respond the same day or next. They call me with an accurate description of the issue call and explain the issue and charges. They make the correct fix without over charging or adding an unnecessary charges. They were on time and treated my tenants with respect. Gator septic tank services did a clean job in my home and i also like the constant communication the progress of the work.They fixed tank well and i later called them back to make another repair on the other tank two weeks later and they didn't charge me on site visit. They are nice people; i will be looking forward to with them in the future.

The job went very well, the worker, unfortunately I forgot his name, was very professional and did an excellent job. He went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with the work and made certain that the cover was well sealed before burying it.

Overall, I would have used their services, if I lived in their area.

They came when they said they were going to. They were honest and did a good job. The price was reasonable. They were responsive and punctual. I really liked them.

They gave me pamphlets and walked me through how a septic tank and drain system worked. They showed me where the septic tanks were. Their staff is very responsive. I will use them again in the future.

I placed a call to Gator Septic on Thursday the 15th 2012 - The person answering the phone, inquired if they needed to come out the same day; I explained to the gentleman that we had been manually discharging for a week or so, the next day would be fine. Just as promised Dave Itterly the Field Supervisor called me promptly around 8:00 am - To informed me that they would be in my area that morning. We made arrangements to come over about 10:00 am the same morning. They arrived on time as promised; I was very impressed with Dave and his assistant Barney - Real professionals in this field. I have been in the water business for over 20 years as a service manager, and truly this is the kind of people you want in your home. Even though they had many difficulties with this job, they remained optimistic while dealing with the situation. Needless to say, I've been a very satisfied customer going through this experience.

They pumped the septic tank for me and made sure it was working properly. They were very reasonable in cost. It was $55.00 that I spent or $50.00 somewhere there. He was very punctual.

I received a call from my tenent about water building in the back yard. I'm out of state and use Angies List to help make sound decisions managing my properties from afar. After selecting Gator Septic from Angies List and placing the call I received a callback within the hour. A technician was sent out the following morning with a report called back to me that it may be the lift pump is bad. Or it could be the switch or float. I authorized the work expecting te worst but received a call after the work was done that it was only a float and the additional charge above the base was nominal. A good experience overall with good communication. I feel comfortable that I will be using Gator Septic for all my SWF septic needs.
