I had a great experience with Southeast Marine Construction. Everyone I spoke to from the office, to my estimator to the permit processor that they recommended were amazing. My new boat dock came out exceptional and I'm beyond pleased. Thank you!

Inflated prices. Contacted SE Marine Construction to repair a lift damaged by hurricane Irma. Quote was for over $3,000. Requested a quote from another lift repair company and quote was for $450 to replace the motor. This was all that was needed. When I received the second quote and contacted SE Marine, they would not revise nor match. They said that was the lowest they could do and said it with a bit of an attitude basically implying if I wanted it done, I would pay. I had to wait 3 weeks but used company that charged $450. Lift has been working fine for over 6 months. Use caution with Southeast Marine Construction!

Excellent work. Arrived early, worked hard and quickly while still doing a good work. Clean work, professional, and respectful guys. Would definitely hire again.

We replaced our dock because the Pressure treated wood had splintered after 20 years. Southeast Marine Const. Recommended Trex Composite. They installed the deck which was extremely uneven because of their poorly constructed foundation. Large "Humps" in multiple areas were very obvious to all who viewed their work. Including their "Foreman". However, Tim pretended that it was not noticeable when we requested for him to come out multiple times and see the finished job. When Tim denied that it was faulty, the owner put a level on deck to demonstrate how uneven the work was and said if this was not done properly, we told him we'd have an Engineer come out to inspect it and only then did he agree. His crew took several months before returning to replace and repair the uneven dock to an acceptable condition.

The salesman initially was nice.  Price was within other companies.  After that,down-hill all the way.
We had too many problems, I don't know where to start.
Both Troy and Tim were unprofessional, difficult to deal with and our job took over1 year to complete.  We had to constantly be on top of the construction because the project manager was never around.  There were issues that if we were not present  on-site, would have been done incorrectly.
After they said the job was done, months passed and the City issued a notice that the permit was never finalized and closed. This is something that they are supposed to know.  
Terrible experience with everyone but the Office Manager,Joy.
Shotty work. I would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

They were timely, punctual, and cost effective. The have asked many questions and followed up with me.

They did an excellent job.  They were prompt.  Whenever I spoke with them they were very clear on the instructions.  They did what they said they were going to do.  They were very professional.  Their crews were all employees and when they worked on the job, they worked all day.  Basically they worked each day in a week, all day and they did some job from job to job and finished the task.  Everyone that came knew what their assignment was.  There was someone always on the job who was accountable for what they were doing.  The job came out great and the end product was phenomenal.  I had quotes for a lot less but the job was very thorough.  I feel like what they charged was a fair price given other quotes that I got because the other quotes weren't complete.  Some of the other companies that I called didn't show up and just getting an estimate was very difficult.  I had someone come whenever I called and if they didn't take my call right away, they would return my call the same day so they were very prompt.

They did a fantastic job.

I was extremely impressed. Tim Mcglynn came out and educated me on the process and he was very sensitive to the timing that I needed to have it done by. He brought out his most competent team leaders. They showed up on time and completed it exactly when they said they would. They finished very quickly. Also they were very professional. They were always willing and capable of answering any questions I had. I felt very comfortable with them. They did a very professional and high grade job.

I received the estimate when he had told me it would be ready. I intend to use this company when I decide to take the next step.

I was very happy with Southeast Marine Construction's work. Since everyone lost their docks due to Katrina, our house doubled in price. They did a beautiful job, and I am very pleased.
