We were very satisfied with Nationwide Van Lines. Lloyd and Moses did an amazing job. Lloyd was very thorough going through the paperwork and explained everything before they ever started loading the truck. Moses did a great job helping Lloyd and watching the truck so no one tried to take our things while Lloyd was inside taking care of the financial piece. They traveled 452 miles with all of our belongings and everything arrived safely and not broken within 2 days of pickup. I highly recommended Lloyd, Moses and Nationwide!!! Team Lloyd and Moses!!!!!

The absolute best customer service. So great I want to especially mention Laurie who took all of my calls, called back as promised and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Rick was my contact just before pick-up and then throughout delivery. Great guy and kept me happy all the way through. Our driver was Harold. Wow. Hard working, positive and an expert. Could not be happier with the service I received.

I have moved many times throughout my life and this company by far was Top Notch! From the first phone call with sales on through with the actual move, everyone was completely professional. And unlike other companies, the first person I spoke with and that was responsible with giving me a quote and the booking actually stayed in touch throughout the whole move from the beginning to the end...now that's great customer service!!! Thanks Todd as you are a great representative for your company! I had Johnny for my mover and he and his team were amazing on both ends! If you want a company that is completely transparent and accountable in all areas of orchestrating and finalizing a move, then you will not be disappointed with Nationwide Van Lines. My move was from Tampa, FL to Charlotte, NC and all my belongings made it with no surprises in final costs. Truly a great experience for a move! Thank you Nationwide Van Lines!

It went well, surprisingly well. Only one hiccup, the movers scraped my floor in one stop. Customer service took care of it without a problem because I got the insurance. Take my advice, get the insurance- it's not expensive and it's worth not having the headache.

Nationwide Van Lines is nothing but trouble. Please don't let them fool you. All of the associates try to act super-friendly and helpful, but when it comes to following through, they are all full of crap. 
1. They will tell you a window of time, which will turn out to be totally bogus. 3 - 7 days turned out to be 16 days!
2. They will tell you one price, but by the time the job is delivered, there are so many additional fees that come up, which were never explained from the beginning (approximately +$1,000 more than what I was quoted).
3. The packing was atrocious! When paying for a full-service move, I imagined that my family's belongings would be cared for. Once we started unpacking, we could not find anything. Boxes were mislabeled, belongings were just randomly thrown into different boxes for no rhyme or reason. Bedroom belongings in with kitchen belongings? Unpacking was a nightmare! 
4. To top everything off, we had so many broken belongings!
Moving to another state can be a stressful time. To help avoid any additional stress, please do not use Nationwide Van Lines. The main reason I went with them is because they committed to having my belongings ready for delivery in a much shorter time-frame and with very competitive rates compared to the other companies. Instead, my family's belongings actually were delivered in a longer amount of time than the other quotes and turned out to be even more expensive. This company is just full of games! Please don't waste your time.
My recommendation is to use a bigger, more well-known company. They will not commit to anything they cannot follow through on. Communication and a true "full-service" move are much more likely to happen from the bigger companies.

It went terrible.  They lost entire boxes of stuff.  They broke furniture and personal goods.  They tried to extort extra cash.  They held extra goods trying to get more money.  They denied my claim of insurance although I showed them broken item photos.  They lost boxes and boxes of clothes, purse and other items.  They had me refile 3 different times with their insurance.  They denied the claims.  I was fighting this for over a year.  There were boxes that were 2 feet tall and when they were delivered they were smashed.  They denied everything. They are a rip-off

I had hired them because they were cheaper but I didn't realize the other quotes from different movers might have been a little higher but it did include them packing up for you.  I have had to pack everything myself.  They have been nice but I wish I would have paid attention to the detail of the quotes more and maybe asked a few more questions.  I have everything ready and the move will take place tomorrow so I will report back when I see how things go afterwards.

See above. I had to move in a hurry because I delayed making a decision. Everything I read on the internet said don't arrange a move over the internet or phone, have someone come to the house and look at everything you have to move. So I got some more quotes but, finally, took a leap of faith and booked Nationwide. Thank goodness I did! Do not use a moving broker that gets quotes from a bunch of movers. Go direct and by all means use Nationwide. By the way I did not sign up for additional insurance and I was fine. Nothing was even scratched.

The whole company is very nice. However, there was a billing issue. They arrived 2 weeks late. Also, it ended up costing me an additional $600.00 over what I was told initially.

They weren't good at keeping me up to date on the progress of the move, but they were good when the actual movers were there.  I really wouldn't recommend them.

It was straightforward as far as the estimate. The estimate was for $1100 and was way off. They kept putting off the pick up time and made it real inconvenient. They asked my mother to sign a paper and she was in a hurry and signed it. When she got back she found out that their trucks had completely ruined the landscaping in my backyard. They would not get back to me when I tried to call them and the dispatcher was rude. I did not want to pay them until I got the situation taken care of but they refused to give me my boxes until I paid them. They changed the pick up date that was contracted and told me I was lying when I brought it to their attention and I was hung up on.
