What a great company!  I needed a plumber quickly, and they were at my door within 30 minutes.  Excellent workmanship, very clean and efficient.  The owner, Pete, is very accommodating.  I would highly recommend this company.

Called Peter at Father and Son to have a second opinion for a hot water pressure I was having.  Eduardo called that morning and showed up promptly at 9 AM.  I explained the problem I was having and the prior efforts by the original company.  He thoroughly checked all the connections both in the kitchen, bathroom and water heater and diagnosed the problem.  I was given a full explanation on everything he was doing to correct the problem and possible remedies.  Eduardo took the extra time and effort to explore all possibilities to fix the problem and even replaced some previously damaged pipes that I wasn't aware of.  Ultimately the pressure was improved but the old galvanized pipes will have to be replaced in the future.  I will absolutely use Father and Son to do the replacement because I trust the job will be done correctly and with minimal damage to the inside structure and walls.  Eduardo is like a surgeon in the plumbing industry.

Being a new member of Angie's List, I checked multiple plumbers in the area ( concerned that the water heater may have to be replaced completely) My hot water had not been working for days and I knew my existing one was 11 years old. When I called in the AM, I spoke immediately to Pete (owner ) and he said that they would have service men in area that afternoon. Great --no waiting for days !! At around 1:00 PM  -a man called and said they were on the way - by late PM my problems were solved. I was shown damage of thermostat and element in existing heater and given price for both repair and replacement . No pressure. Even recommended  repair and replacement was best option for lowest price. Had all parts in truck and knew exactly how to handle problems.

The plumber came out at scheduled time, gave me the cost and was able to send someone out later the same day.  The job was completed beautifully and cleaned in two hours.  These are the guys you want to hire.  They are honest, fair, efficient and do a professional job at a reasonable price.  I would hire them again in a second.

He explained everything he was doing to address our initial problem and when asked to provide suggestions about additional repairs and services that may be needed in the future he did so without hesitation. He advised us of the possible  cost when we requested estimates.

 I wish I would have called them out first before I had another company " RR" talk me into replacing the homes water main valve to the tune of $400 what a Rip Off! Pete came out to the house right away and quoted the job. His crew was awesome too. I have the best water pressure in Hollywood Hills! Get rid of those old galvanized pipes neighbors, Call Pete at Father & Son to get the job done :-)

Pete was excellent at getting someone out to the house.  Steve came out and did the work inside the walls.  He was professional, diligent and even advised that the items I had purchased were okay but he suggested another brand - specifically MOEN.  I had selected a square mixer as it was asthetically more pleasing than a round mixer.  Steve showed the tile installer that he could bring a MOEN square mixer/faceplate with him when he returned.  Once the tile was complete I called back.  Pete sent out Justin.  Wow what a difference from Steve.  He was upset with the shower head.  He needed something to install the shower head that he did not have with him.  He asked why didn't we tell him.  Really, how would I know, that is why I hired the experts in plumbing.  He then installed a round (hideous) mixer/face plate.  I had a friend at the house who did not know about the square vs round.  I had no idea a different person would come and not know what they were to do.  Once I did get home it looked like a DIY job.  The handle for the mixer, does not line up north south.  If anyone looked at the job they would think I hired a handy man (sorry no insult to the handy man out there) or I did it myself.  Several calls back and forth to Pete resulted in nothing.  Pete did return my calls but did not have the situation resolved.  I will have to hire another company to come out and clean up the work completed by Justin.  I put professionalism at a 'B' based on Steve and Pete.

He was extremely professional and punctual. I'd definitely recommend using him. I didn't go with this company but for future plumbing services, I'm definitely calling them for the job.

After yesterday's AC repair, I was advised to get a plumber in to install a larger and better-positioned drip line.  Timing was an issue, since it would have to be done while pavers for new patio and driveway are being installed.  I called Father & Son yesterday afternoon, based on recommendations on this site.  Pete came at noon, surveyed the situation, suggested burying a line while it was still possible before paver installers got to the patio.  He called his crew, came back a half hour later and left off the appropriate pipes.  Justin showed up soon after. He had the trench dug, pipe installed, tested and covered up, old drip line removed and carted off.
There was a little drip at the connection outside at the wall, I called and told them about it, it was fixed within an hour.

A positive experience all around.
Spoke to Pete and scheduled a morning meeting. The day of
the appointment Pete called to say he?d had a few emergencies and needed to
push the time back. I was appreciative that he notified me & did not leave
me hanging.
He showed up within the set time frame, assessed the problem
and within a short period of time replaced the drain and stopper. He cleaned up
nicely and also took care of another small issue that I had with a toilet cap
that had detached from the base of the fixture.
I then showed him two other problems we had with a leaky
showerhead and a faucet handle that was tight, making it difficult to open. He
suggested replacing the cartridge in the showerhead and the handle. I asked him
if it were necessary to open the tile in the shower and he said no, the plate
was meant to be removed. That was a big relief as TWO previous plumbers had
told me they would need to remove tile to fix the problem and that was why the
showerhead had never been dwelt with.
Pete took pictures of the fixtures in order to identify them
& two days later called to say he had ordered the parts & would let me
know when they arrived.
The fee was reasonable?great follow-through, will use this
company again in future.
