Estuardo's Hair Salon

I'm very happy with my overall experience at the salon. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Estuardo took the time to discuss the color and made a recommendation which I loved. As far as the haircut, I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted except that I like it short and he did a great job with my hair. I'm definitely coming back!

I came here from Chicago and have been very spoiled by my wonderful hairdresser there - she knows all the latest techniques and products, keeps up professionally and really did a wonderful job on my (admittedly) very difficult, thinning and recalcitrant hair. Since moving to Ft. Lauderdale 3 years ago, I have tried one hair dresser after another and have always been disappointed. I have been unable to find anyone with any sense of style or élan - rather, they all seem to want to give me a rather dated "hair do". This may have something to do with my age, as I am an (ahem) mature woman, not a young girl with masses of hair. The situation was such that I found myself flying to Chicago every few months, just to get my hair done!
Then I was referred to Estuardo! Amazing! I was admittedly a bit dubious when I walked into his little shop, which looks more like a barber shop than an upscale salon, but looks are really deceiving. He listened to me, understood what I wanted, took time to understand my hair and its weaknesses, gave me an amazing cut that was as good or better than anything that I have ever gotten in any of the large cities in which I have lived. It was GREAT! He also gave me some good ideas about color and extensions that will not harm my fragile hair.
On a personal level, Estuardo has a great combination of professionalism and personal warmth. The other professionals in his salon are pleasant and personable, and there is an air of friendliness and personal attention that is all too rare. I am getting color on Tuesday and can't wait!
Try him! You'll be glad you did!
p.s. Admittedly, he charges Chicago prices but he is worth every penny.

Absolutely love my cut and highlights! Booked my next appointment as I checked out :-)

I made an appointment to get a hair cut, manicure and pedicure about 4 days in advance. They were ready for me when I arrived and immediately started with my pedicure, then manicure and then finished with a haircut. Sara provided the pedicure and manicure and Gustavo gave me a haircut. I had a little pain in my right foot, which was my primary reason for going. After Sara did her magic the pain was gone. When I left the salon I was a new person.
