overall job was done professionally and pool looks great at a fair price and no deposit required or payment until the job was completed. rebalancing of chemicals after completion could have been better

Brian did an amazing job, everything was done in a neat manner and I couldn’t have asked for a better finished product. He also rearrange my pool equipment for the most efficient setup.

Today it seems we are very skeptical to hire / trust any service provider. So we decided to give Angie’s list a try. We were very happy with Kevin and Brian. Besides doing an excellent job (and our pool was in desperate need of repair). They were completely honest and very reasonable priced Their workers were on time and we felt they really cared on doing a good job and making sure we were completely satisfied. They thoroughly cleaned up and scrubbed our 21 year old tile till they looked brand new. Bottom line. Need great work at a reasonable price from two honest contractors. Call Kevin or Brian

Kevin and the Bluewater team literally came to our rescue. We were left hanging by another pool contractor who did a partial demo and disappeared. Kevin was very sympathetic to our predicament and had his team work diligently to finish the job beautifully and within a very tight deadline. Additionally, we ended up going with a different deck solution thanks to Kevin's experience and know-how. Our pool is now gorgeous, modern with a travertine deck that frames it perfectly. My husband and I were very impressed with their whole command of the project from start to finish. To top it off, the Bluewater crew beat the deadline we set forth by 2 days! Will continue to recommend to friends and neighbors for years to come.

My friend told me about this company and said I had to get a quote. So I arranged a time to have the quote done. As life has it I had to change the time of the quote and they were so understanding. Right when Kevin got here I know this was the company for me and after I saw the price I really know this company was it. My pool looks wonderful and feels it to on these cold days. This is the second job I hired Kevin to do because the first job came out so well. This is a great company to work with. Kevin gave me a great price. He really takes pride in every job they do. We hired blue water pool to resurface, retile, and regrout our pool. We are very happy with the final result. They were very knowledgeable about the best tile and surfaces for the pool. Brian, the owner, always responded in a timely manner. He came out to see the pool three or four times. And did some of the more difficult work himself. We also found him to be very honest, and to recommend only work that we actually needed to achieve the desired result. We are not easy customers, and were sometimes very detailed and specific about what we wanted; we are therefore pleased with the amount of time spent to assure we were happy with the final result.

Very quick initial response to give bid for job. Start date was given, contract signed and returned. Job started 2 days later than promised and completed 3 days later than promised. I paid Kevin after he said the job was complete and he was then going to begin the process of chemical balancing over the next month, also part of the contract. Very poor response for this process. No chemical balancing occurred and my regular pool maintenance person had to take over the "fire up". I also let Kevin know that the pool light was no longer working and that the pool appeared to be losing water. He never returned to address these issues so i had to pay a leak detection company $295 additional to identify and repair leak. This was also to be part of the service rendered.

All worked performed as promised.

There were a few hiccups along the way, but Kevin helped us get through it all. The pool came out great!

I had my pool refinished a little over a year ago, included in the agreement was a used light and a new pump. The pool was complete and the new pump was installed, however they didn’t have the light for me yet. They asked for payment in full with the promise they would come back and install the light once they had one for me. I trusted them due to their commitment to come back and there temperament throughout the process. I was told a few months ago that Kevin finally had found a light for me and he promised he would install it soon. Well it’s been several months now and still no pool light. After a lot of broken promises I gave up asking “when they were coming to install the new light”. I now have an issue with the new pump they installed. I was told by another pool company that the bearings are bad and I need a new motor for the pump. I know it is a little over a year and the warrantee is up but thought I would reach out to them to see if they could help since they installed it with the pool redo. After several unanswered phone calls, texts and emails I have gotten no responses from them and based on their previous track record of broken promises I doubt I will hear from them again. It is very sad because they started out super nice and responsive and now not even a return call to at least tell me they cannot help me. Poor customer service.

Brian showed up right on time, and got my pool blue again in no time. Great price and even provided the salt for no charge.

Kevin came on time to give me an estimate for re-coating my pool and replacing my pool heater. He was pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. He provided a written estimate, explained what would be done, helped me select a color, and advised that my pool tile did not need replacing but could be redone if I wanted a new look. Before I was ready to do the re-coating, my pool pump overheated. I called Bluewater and arranged for them to install a new pump. Brian, the owner, came at the agreed-upon time. It began to rain heavily, and he advised that it was unsafe to connect the electric pump in the rain, so he would be back the following day. To my surprise, he knocked on my door a few minutes later. He said the pump did not need replacement, only a new gasket, which he had installed. When I asked how much I owed him, he said there was no charge! The pump is still working well a month later. I called Bluewater about two weeks ago to advise I was ready for the pool heater installation, and asked about salt water chlorination systems. Brian was patient and helpful in explaining how the systems work, and the differences between the various brands. A few days later I called with an additional question, which Kevin answered patiently and knowledgeably. Brian came a few days ago to do the installations at the agreed-upon time, and brought and installed a pool heater that is the same brand as originally quoted but with higher BTUs. It should have been more expensive, but Bluewater charged the same price as the original quote for the smaller model. Brian was once again friendly and patient, and explained the controls and maintenance of the new heater and chlorinator. Throughout my dealings with both Kevin and Brian, I felt confident in their knowledge and skill, and I never felt any "sales pressure". I will be using Bluewater to do the re-coating soon, and I plan to call them for all future pool repairs. Their work is top-notch, the guys are pleasant, professional and knowledgeable, and the price is right. In short, these are nice, honest guys doing good work for a fair price--I couldn't ask for more from any service provider!

The pump was installed within a week and a half from my initial phone call, which I greatly appreciated the quick response. Bluewater Pools has competitive pricing, is knowledgeable, and does quality work.

Kevin and Brian were available immediately or within minutes every time I needed to communicate with them before, during, and after the job. They did not collect a penny until their crew was already working, which showed me that they are focused on the job and not just my money. They were quite flexible during the job since I did have some unique challenges, and even gave me quite a nice surprise when I saw that they added a tile outline to my pool steps, which looks amazing. I’m very happy with my decision to have Bluewater Pools fix and resurface my pool.

Bluewater Pools was exceptional from start to finish! Kevin came out the next day to give me a quote on my job. Not only did he take the time to answer all of my questions, he gave me options for my patio that I didn't know were possible. His industry knowledge was apparent almost immediately. I was given a formal written quote right on the spot (something my previous 2 quotes did not provide) Bluewater Pools ended up being the lowest quote out of the 3 I obtained, even with higher end products. (Travertine vs pavers) Work began, and the guys always showed up when promised. Bluewater Pools does not contract their work out, so you know the job will be done right. Kevin was always responsive and available any time I had any questions and was great to work with. Work was done quickly, and they even cleaned up after themselves! At the end of the project, Kevin was sure to give me detailed instructions on how to take care of my new patio and newly resurfaced pool. He really has a wealth of information! After all is said and done, I can honestly say that using Angie's List to find Bluewater Pools was the best thing I could have done. I previously had bad experiences when choosing a contractor, based solely off an "A" rating. It is so important to read the reviews, and make sure there are plenty of them to get a wide range of opinions. You can see that Bluewater has plenty of reviews to read thru. I now have an amazing travertine patio and a fresh, updated pool with beautiful tile. I am forever grateful to Bluewater Pools for making my pool and patio beautiful, and an enjoyable place to spend time!

We had a delay due to the hurricane and then weeks of rain, it took a little bit to get back on track to start my project, but once started everything went very smooth. They went out of their way to accomodate my reqest last minute to add some tile to the border of the steps. The crew who did the resurfacing was great and Kevin was able to repair 2 of my lights that didnt work previously.

With no help from the weather, they finished in a timely manner and the pool looks brand new.

We worked with Brian at Bluewater Pools and he is the ultimate professional. Pricing is extremely fair and the work is stellar. I'm not sure but I think our pool pump was a bit more of a challenge than he estimated (he gave us a quote without seeing the actual pump in person, just pictures), but he stayed by his word and charged us the same price without trying to finagle extra money out of us. His quote came immediately, no waiting for days. This company is TOP NOTCH. Great pricing, great service, and honest. You can't beat that. I'll never call anyone else!
