The first appointment was canceled due to double booking. When we finally met, Tommy agreed to do the whole house with the exception of one closet. I was instructed to clear the top shelves of the closets and remove the kitchen cabinet doors. I was told it would take three days. Work began on June 2nd and was finally finished on June 24th. I stayed in a hotel for two nights. I agreed to pay Tommy for work for two days, which entailed covering, wet scraping, fiberglass taping, plastering, applying texture. All looked fine. The final day, I arrived and they were not finished, so I was told to come back around six. I came and they were not finished. Tommy asked for $50 dollars more because he said the repairs had been more extensive than anticipated. He walked me through and I saw that every wall of my house had paint peeled off. On his invoice, it states that Aries is not responsible for paint peeling. I was not told, nor did I anticipate the extent of the peeling. I hadn't planned on painting my entire house. Later on I saw that the closets weren't done, as agreed to and paid for. The master was done, but the other five were not. When I called, he said that he FORGOT. He said that he couldn't come out because he had other jobs. He finally came out on June 24th. He did three of the five closets because he said that they were too small. He had agreed to do them initially. The next day, he didn't show, nor call. I called him and he said, "I knew you would eventually call". He took one big breath and said that 1. he had miscommunicated about the closets, 2.since there was no vent, the texture wasn't dry 3. It was going to cost him $300 to come back out and it wasn't worth it 4. it would be easier to send me a check 5. I needed a painter anyway and I could get the painter to paint the closets 6. he was going to ask me for an additional...etc, etc, etc. I explained that when he cashed my checks, I had met my end of our agreement and I expected him to do the same. He said that he couldn't come out the next day. He finally finished on June 26th. He was in and out. He said that he had used an expensive primer / paint combo...etc, etc, etc. He left and I was relieved. It was the never ending story.
