Always Green Sprinklers

I spoke with Phil, described what pump & motor wasn't doing, the broken lines & sprinkler head problems. He explained pricing structure in detail, explained process of what would be done on the visit, and let me know exactly who would be coming for the appointment, and when. First appointment did need to be rescheduled, but wasn't a problem. Mike arrived on time, and I did receive confirmation calls. Mike arrived on time, and clearly explained the issue with the pump and the problems with the lines. I was given 2 repair options: a less expensive option  to repair pump and install flexible lines, &to install  above ground sprinkler heads (which would mean the lawn guys would continue to break them), and a more expensive option to do the above and to install below ground sprinklers.  Mike didn't pressure me to take either option, which I greatly appreciated. I chose to have the second option, which was scheduled for another date.Mike and his coworker completed the work as promised quickly, efficiently, and neatly. Mike offered to explain any and everything that had been done.  I would definitely recommend this company to friends and neighbors, and would not hesitate to use them again.

I can't say enough great things about Always Green and Phil and Mike.  They were courteous, knowledgable, prompt and did everything they said they would do.

The crew was punctual. They shared with me the issues that I had asked about. They even saved me some money, by replacing an O-ring instead of the pump. Very professional and approachable.

Arrived ahead of schedule and did a great job installing and setting up the new timer.   Technician made sure I understood how to properly setup and program the system.
 I used the opportunity to also discuss options for replacing my old rust prevention/injector system and re-positioning sprinklers following install of a new PVC fence.   The technician explained a non-electrical, siphoning solution for the rust prevention system and also recommended options for changing the type and position of sprinkler heads to minimize over spray on the fence.
 I will be calling Always Green Sprinklers after my fence is completed.    Look forward to doing business with them again.

I had another company come out and was told, I had to replace the entire pump assembly and several sprinkler units for a total of $625.00. The technician even showed me how the pump was leaking profusely. I found that funny since it did not leak before they came. So I thanked them for their time and performance and paid the $40.00 they charged for coming out.  I tightened the screws on the pump and looked for another company.

Found Always Green Sprinklers on Internet & Angie's list. Had a little trouble coordinating an appointment because of their busy schedule, but it worked out well. Two techs came to the house, looked at the problems and gave me a tentative quote, which was dependant upon how long the job took. After checking the system he told me what needed to be done and the charge for the parts. They repaired the pipe at the zone pump and replaced three sprinkler units. All work was completed within the first hour and the complete job cost me under $200. 

I manage some commercial properties and irrigation has been a problem. They have earned my future business.

I don't mind paying a reasonable charge for quality work, but I don't understand why some companies think they need to be crooked to succeed.

He came out at the prescribed time, assessed the situation and was able to make all repairs and render system fully operational.
Total time for the job, about 2 hours and very satisfied with the work and professionalism.  Felt like I received a very fair deal from this company.

My pump was starting up but wasn?t pumping any water to my sprinkler system. I figured since my pump is old it was broken and needed to be replaced. I called always green sprinkler and asked them to come take a look. The guy that showed up actually took the time to try to figure out what the problem was instead of just replacing the pump.

He told me that very small snails got sucked into the pump and clogged up the motor. They also found that my screen for the main pipe leading to the lake also needed to be replaced. When they left I rechecked my system and realized that they had adjusted my entire system to where all the sprinkler heads were irrigating the way they were supposed to. I knew that I had that problem but I never bothered to fix it because my lawn was being watered "good enough." That took some time and they didn?t charge me a dime for it.

I loved their honesty in not selling me a pump and just fixing my old one. I will call them anytime for future sprinkler issues. By the way they also gave me a great price on replacing my pump if I should need to in the future. I have called several other companies from angies list and no one has been able to beat that price. Great company! I highly recommend them.

Sent an email inquiry via the List, and the owner called back the same afternoon and explained service based on our conversation. Said it would likely take 2-3 hours for a crew of two from what I was describing, and that work was charged at an hourly rate of $90 ($45 per person), plus parts and tax.  I agreed and we set an appointment to do the job ten days out, which was fine with me, as it happened to fall on a Saturday.

The crew arrived and completed the work in two hours.  They listened to my general comments about the problems that I knew about, and from that point worked independently on their inspections and repairs.  

The bill reflected a labor discount for a current coupon (10%) without me asking for it.  I thought this was a nice touch, since the coupon didn't come up in the initial call.  With many vendors here, I've found that the 'coupon' is never discussed before or after the work, so that you can never be sure if it was applied to the quote or the bill.

I'm very happy with the work and the transaction, and intend to call them back in on some moves that will be required after some new trees are planted this month.

We were having trouble with our irrigation system.  Specifically, when the pump would come on, the breaker would trip.  We initially called a local electrician who replaced our pump.  After making two trips out here, replacing the pump and charging us $700, he told us we had a well problem and we needed to call an irrigation specialist.  We called Always Green based on favorable reviews and got them to come out and take a look.  Turns out, the electrician scammed us by installing an old, spraypainted jacuzzi pump and over-charged us.  The professionals at Always Green identified the issue immediately.  Rather than spending time trying to prime the pump or otherwise get the system to work, they told us exactly what needed to be done and how much it would cost.  There were no suprises.  They quickly replaced the pump with a brand new irrigation pump and now our sprinkling system works great.  They also took the time to set all the zones and make sure the heads were properly working.  They were very patient and slowly explained everything.  They were on time, courteous and very professional.  I would recommend Always Green to anyone that needs irrigation work.  It's refreshing to deal with a company that values customer service and truly makes an effort to establish a long-term relationship.  We will continue to use Always Green in the future.  Great company!

They did a very complete job and checked all the permits. They gave a very accurate estimate for everything; walked through all the paperwork and checked everything beforehand to make sure it was what we wanted. This company did a good installation job and it turned out very well. I will use them again in the future.

They were here and repaired everything within an hour.  Very satisfied and definitely hire them again.  In fact, thinking of having them redo some of my sprinkler layout come this spring

I got them off of Angie’s List.  My experience was excellent.  I called them up and they merely returned my call.  They scheduled the appointment for the next day.  They showed up exactly at the scheduled time.  I would use them again in the future.

We had a problem with our sprinkler system where the pump would run, but no water would flow through the system.  I called Always Green sprinklers (and 2 others from Angie's list) at 6pm one evening and Phil returned my call early the next morning (I had to call the other two companies again).  Phil was very helpful trying to diagnose the problem we were having over the phone and gave me a worst-case scenario estimate.  His team arrived right on time and diagnosed the problem in just a few minutes.  We had a leak in the PVC pipe attached to our pump and thankfully the final cost was under $100 and the system is working fine.  Phil called later that day to make sure the work was completed and that we were happy with the job done.  We'd definitely recommend Always Green to a friend.

I have a pretty big lawn and the sprinklers either need replacement or repair. Therefore, today I decided to call this company based on the few but high ratings it has in Angieslist. Well, I was VERY disappointed with the horrible attitude that the gentleman had over the phone. I am not sure if he was the owner or just an employee but after a few minutes of talking to him over the phone, I had already decided that I didn’t want this company around my property. I hope this review helps this company to stay professional at all times when answering the phone. Business rule 101: Great first impressions are a KEY to stay in business – especially in this economy. We as consumers have the upper hand to choose from a variety of business and we will select the best service, price and professionalism.

They were helpful over the phone.  They were patient and descriptive of what they were going to do and how.  It was excellent service.

ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS

I am so happy that I decided to finally use Angie's list to find reputable, highly recommended companies to do work at my home.  Michael from Always Green Sprinkles was very professional and clear on how they charged when making the appointment.  He showed up promptly and started working immediately and the work was done very fast!!!  I was so pleased that my garden was finally getting adequate water.  

Michael and I worked together with his assistant whom was very polite and at one point as the sprinkler was going was headed right to me so he blocked the water with his shovel to avoid hitting me.  I thought this was very nice as I never had experienced this when working with other sprinkler companies.  I always ended up getting wet!  This must be common practice for Always Green Sprinklers for at one point Michael actually put his let in front of the sprinkler to avoid hitting me.  LOL!!!  Chilvary is not dead ladies!!! 

They made sure that everything that I needed done was completed.  Michael asked several times if I had any further questions and answered all of them!  At the end I must be honest, I held my breath for the receipt as I thought "Oh no, here we go!"  I was so pleasantly surprised!!!  They didn't even round off the hours and gave me a 10% discount on top of an already amazing price for all the hard work they did!!!
