Description of Work: Trimmed and thinned 3 black olive trees, removed one. did stop grinding on the removed tree.

Description of Work: The person came out and spent about 30 seconds looking at the tree we need trimmed at our recently purchased house in Pompano Beach. At least he identified the tree correctly. He said that he would get us an estimate but despite several calls from my wife we have heard nothing.

Description of Work: Called Louis to have 3 palm trees and 3 bushes removed, and leveling of ground, in order for us to have a fence installed. He took a long time to call back my first call. He then showed up late to my house to give me a quote. The price of $300 was not great, but okay. Pressed for time because we needed to have trees removed in order for fencing company to put up the fence, I decided to go ahead with Louis. I called him back and let him know that we wanted to go ahead with his quote. He never called back. I guess the job was too small of a pay for him to be interested. However, he should of at least called back. I waited and waited, and was already pressed for time. I just went ahead and had my lawn-cutting guy do it for $200. I guess for some people, the economy isn't so bad, and they just don't need the work. Not professional.

Description of Work: I contacted All County Tree Service to remove four (4) oversized Plam Trees on my property. My first call was answered and Louis promptly answered all of my questions on the phone. We agreed that he would come and provide an estimate for the job, which he did the same night, after hours so I would be homnw from work. He showed up on time and was very helpful providing lots of insight into the removal process. He told me he would provide an estimate the next day, which he did. He quoted me $1400 to remove the four trees with all debris and clean-up afterwards. I called Louis and asked about permits and the possibility that I may have to replace the trees as I live in Plantation. He replied that we was not sure and that I should contact the city to find out. I did contact the City of Planation and was told in great detail that I would be responsible for obtaining a permit and replacement of all trees as per the city code. I called Louis back and expalined what I was told. He said that he would come back and look at grinding out the stups so we could replace the trees and give me a quote. We made a date for him to come, but he never showed up and never called. I called hom again,a nd again we made an appointment for him to come and do another site visit. Again he never show up and never called. I have never heard back from Louis or All County Tree Service again. I have three overall comments about this company: 1) Louis was very personable and professional the first time he came to my home for the estimate. I was impressed! 2) I would have thought that a company in the business of tree services would know the various local code requirements and inform the homeowner of same in advance. 3) I am absolutely amazed that I never got these people to return and complete the estimate and potentially do the work. 4) Since a work in construction, I have come to understand that most contractors perform the work in a similar fashion to how they perform during the estimate process, at BEST. I would be afraid to use this company now based on their performance so far, which is too bad as they seemed to be the "real deal" at first. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED!
