Air Magic has serviced my air conditioner for years and replaced my former 20+ year old air conditioner.  They provide superb service and conscientiously call me to remind of my twice annual services to keep my air conditioner in tip-top shape.  They also provide a reduced fee amount for paying for two services in advance.  I have been delighted with their services for more than a decade!

Technician noted minor loss of coolant, showed where a 'coupling' had a very small leak, quick repair action and cost already included in service call.  Very Satisfied with the service (and learned a few things) !

I have been using Air Magic for over 10 years to service my A/C and they installed a unit for me back in 2002.  The air handler drain pan on that unit rusted out causing leaking and I needed to replace my entire unit.  I received 5 quotes and while Air Magic was not the lowest, they did come down on their original estimate to be competitive with the other quotes I had received.  There was one company whose quote was a ridiculous $700 less than theirs, but their ratings on Angies List and reviews on the BBB made me stay away from them.  Ultimately, I went with Air Magic even though their final quote was $100 +/- higher than others.  The reason:  I trust them as they have been servicing my a/c for years as stated above, and Kerri in their office worked with me on the pricing and several questions I had regarding a new pancake air handler.  Things did not go so well with the install on 2/11, but I gave Air Magic high marks on the way they handled that situation and their responsiveness to my concerns.  When the air handler was installed in my attic space, it was not boxed in properly and the line was not blown out with prior debris and that caused some leaking.  The next day, they sent out their most experienced consultant, Mr. Everton Richards who determined the issue, made some temporary fixes; and what was more impressive, was the fact that the owner, Bob, also came out to listen to my concerns and assured me that they would resolve the issue.  On 2/17, they came back and did a top notch job in boxing the air handler correctly, and blowed out the line completely to prevent water from backing up.  They were absolute professionals and that's the reason I rate them highly.  Even with the best companies, things sometimes go wrong.  But the sign of a good or great company is when they acknowledge their errors and work with customers to address them.  I consider Air Magic to be a very good and reputable company based on how they addressed my situation, and my previous experiences with them over the years. Loyalty is important to me and they have earned my trust.  Mr. Everton Richards (their Comfort Consultant/Installer) is a true professional.  I was very impressed with the quality of his work and the respect he showed for my concerns.  I will certainly recommend Air Magic and continue to use them for many years to come.

Excellent & trouble free installation which met all building codes and included TXV valve, overflow valve, hurricane tie downs and mounting pads.
Knowledgeable installers who were thorough, careful and communicated well. Helped us select a unit resistant to salt ocean air.
Also performed an $60 inspection at another condo where a cracked PVC fitting was repaired.
Also inspected another condo which had a 2009 installation by another company in which there was no overflow valve installed and the rooftop unit was not functioning due to poor electrical contact.  Rooftop unit electrical contacts and box were replaced and an overflow safety valve was installed in the air handler. Hurricane tie downs and mounting pads installed in 2009 did not meet code and were loose and they were repaired. That work cost ~$500.00.
The installer was excellent and provided before and after photos of his work on the roof-top.
In the end all three condos have HVAC units which are functioning well and have the safety measures in place to protect we and our fellow condos owners.
Will use Air Magic annually to inspect our HVAC systems.  Mr. Everton Richards was our installer.

Excellent!  These are nice people and give great service.
Brian, the technician, was polite, kind, and even showed me what to do to help keep this problem from recurring.  NO ONE has ever done that before. Also I have had this problerm before and always the A/C was taken out and brought to the company for "cleaning"). Brian fixed the entire unit right here at my home and it was done quickly and efficiently.  (I'd been using another company on Angie's list  which, due to a bad experience, I will never use again. The problem was resolved, but, after 30 years of using said company I will never call them again, having totally lost faith in their integrity).
I am so happy to find Air Magic.  I can't say enough good about how I was treated; how the problerm was solved, and, with the advice about maintenance I could do.
This is a company I would recommend.  And this is a company I will stay with.
Brian told me a little bit about the  company and how good it was to work there.  He said his co-workers and the owner were all a Team he was proud to be with.  That kind of says it all about how these folks work!
Thank you, Air Magic.

The initial service call went well. Dexter was punctual and profeesional. He appeared to do a thorough check of my system. Then after he called the office to check on warranty status of my unit. It was confirmed it was a year out of warranty, When given a price they were $400.00- $675 away from the competition.I called the office after being quoted the $1376.00 to discuss if there was anyway they could research and possibly have a bit more wiggle.I was advised by Al that my motor was a variable speed motor and it would be $640.00 I asked him twice are you sure you have the correct address quote. That was the fair price I had recieved elsewhere, shortly after our call ended I recieved a call back stating that he made a mistake and that my motor was $1376, 00 with no wiggle.I told them i would get back to them. A female from the office called me to follow up and schedule and I told her I would get back to her. I later  left a voicemail that I would not be needing there services. The next thing I knew I was getting a call a day or two later that they were headed towards my house for install. I said no thank you and I advised that we would not be in need of there services the repair was already complete. SO communication failed several times.I am glad I did more reseach on Angies List and saved myself more that $500.00 and received flawless service.Price Shop people is my advice, The companies that  are on here are  for a reason. If its good, bad, or ugly. Shop, Shop , Shop... Apples to Apples.
Response from Air Magic Air Conditioning Co

"Good Morning [member name removed], We do apologize that there was some confusion with price on the day that our technician Dexter came out. The gentleman you spoke to had several quotes for motors that day and did accidentally confuse the information when you had called later that afternoon. He did call the same day and apologize for the incorrect information and to advise you of the proper information and pricing for your unit. The following day after I heard of the confusion I called to apologize as well and confirm the appointment for the next day. I advised that there was only one motor in stock at a different branch but that we could get it and install later that afternoon. I was advised that time was not good for you and that you would like to set it up for the next day, which we did. I do apologize that we did not receive any other communication stating that you would like to cancel the motor replacement. Unfortunately those variable speed motors are very expensive. Once again we do apologize for the confusion regarding the matter but we are happy that your unit is back up and running. Kind Regards, Kerri Lyons"

It was fine. It didn't cost me more than the big deal purchase. I would have costed more but I decided to go with another company. They came out that same time I purchased it. My experience with the technician was an "A." The only reason why I didn't go with them was because to fix it was very costly. I would use them in the future.

Air Magic send somebody to inspect the place and give us a quote for the work to be done. We used a voucher from Angies List to do that. The voucher has been deducted from the final cost.
After we agreed on the price, Air Magic send us the same guy to perform the job. This was very simple for as we didn't have to explain everything again. They have managed to do the balance very well, as the temperature in the house is now in all rooms nearly the same (±1°).
The persons came on time and have been very polite. They performed their work with professionalism. They even explained to us how we can tweak the settings our-self to adapt if needed.

I've used Air Magic off-and-on over the years when I run into the unfortunate situation of not getting cold air. They've always been extremely punctual, friendly, and reasonable to work with. On one occasion, Brian came out to my house and found my outdoor unit was totally out of coolant. He refilled my tank for me at a reasonable price. 2 months later my AC wasn't blowing cool air again so Brian came back out and spent almost an hour hunting for a leak. He finally found a big leak in the coils and recommended a new AC unit - due to the leak and age of my existing unit. He spent a whole hour working, quoted me a price on a new unit, and didn't even charge me for the service call! I thought this was very respectable.
At the end I didn't end up using Air Magic to get my new AC, because their quoted price was $300-400 hundred dollars more than another company, but I still think Air Magic has amazing service -- their price is just a little high.

The day after the service call the installation work was completed by a team of two experienced installers.
Instalaltion and cleanup was very good.
We were also given advice regarding operation of the unit as well as advice for a  follow-up inspection next season while under warranty.
The Air Magic office registered all of our products with the manufacturers for our warranties .
The office also took care of the obtainng the city permits and arranging the inspection.
