 + -1 moreI love RPM and may have even said so in the past, but it is worth repeating. Dan and Valerie at RPM are both great to deal with, and they have taken good care of my car for me. It's got 155,000 miles on it, but they keep it in tiptop shape. They are honest and do a great job.

 + -1 moreOk I know this is partly my bad, but to charge what they did. My car was smelling like gasoline, so I took it in and they discovered that I had forgotten to twist the gas cap all the way. To get charge 50 bucks for that! See ya RPM

 + -1 moreI just did make it to the service center as my SUV would hardly run. Check in was good, it was closing time and I needed to leave my SUV till the next day. I called around 9:30am and they had already looked at my SUV and was looking for parts to make the repair's. When repairs were made we were called to pick up my SUV. At time of puck up just before leaving one of the service tech's said her could here something he thought didn't seem right: Long story short they continued to check my SUV, ,kept for another day , and gave me a rental car to get to work made final repairs and offered to bring my SUV to me and pick up the rental. We were treated like family by the folks and will go there for repairs as needed.

 + -1 moreThe manager, Dan, told him to take the vehicle to a local dealer and have an estimate of the work that needed to be done and contact him, since the car was driven to another city where we recently moved. He went ahead and had the work done since he needed the car to get to work, and faxed Dan the invoice, like he asked. He rented a car, at our expense, in the meantime while it was being repaired. My husband spoke to him and he then also requested the old parts but by that time the dealer had disposed of them. We haven't heard from him since.
Description of Work: My husband's car was taken in for a tune up and change the serpentine belt. They ended up doing work that was not authorized. Dan called and explained he needed another belt replaced and needed an authorization to do so. My husband said no, only do the work I asked.What really happened was, they cut off the other belt before the phone call and had to replace them because of it. My husband explained to them that we needed the vehicle back by a certain time because we were moving that day, The car ran worse than it did before it was taken in . He took the car back in and they replaced two ignition coils. We drove the car that night to our new location and the engine light came on. We left it there and came back to Fleming Island in another car.

 + -1 moreWas fixed easily. They were professional and courteous at all times. While they will do "walk in" requests, they are truly a car service place. We expected to leave the car there and it was ready when promised (actually before!!). Reasonable charges and truly great people from the front desk to the technicians working on the car. This was actually our 3rd visit this year to them for various issues on our two cars. Other two repairs were more extensive but they were equally professional and courteous at those visits too.
Description of Work: This time we had diagnostics run to find out why service engine light was randomly coming on and to repair whatever was making it come on.

 + -1 moreI got a flat tire yesterday and took it to the tire place this morning for a repair and rebalancing. So then I stopped at RPM to ask about checking the alignment. I knew I was also due for an oil change, and needed a new brakelight. When I asked about setting up an appointment Dan said they could take me right then. So I made myself comfy and they took my car right back. Came out to show the computerized results of the alignment check and how off it was, and the results again after the alignment was done. The car does feel like it has a smoother ride now. (P.S. The year my home was built is totally immaterial to my car repairs so it seems dumb I have to provide that information)
Description of Work: I've always been happy with RPM in Fleming Island. Valerie and Dan are both great. I've been happy with the service technicians I've met. The atmosphere is pleasant, then provide coffee. If you live nearby they will drive you home for a long service call, and come pick you up again later. Today I had an oil change, a tire alignment, and brake light bulb replaced. But I have used them in the past for other services and certainly plan to continue to use them in the future.

 + -1 moreI had major problems with the Tahoe, took it over to RPM in Fleming Island, They were able to find and correct the problem in a matter of 2 days. They were surprised that I was able to drive it over there, as soon as they tried to move it, it had frozen up. Had major engine problems with metal shaving and whatever else. Very nice people to deal with.
Description of Work: We have had all of our cars serviced and all repairs done at this location or the Julington Creek location. They have always been very friendly and very helpful, if we had any problems they always found it and repaired it very promptly. We have had oil changes, tires, rear ends replaced, brakes. With 5 cars they have done just about everything. Jason at Fleming Island has always been very helpful and always calls when everything is done. Time frame has always been right on target. The prices are better than at the Dealer but maybe not as cheap as some, but their work is excellent. I have recommended RPM to all my friends and now several take their cars to, their has never been any problems.
