I joined a golf course that permitted me to have my own golf cart. I wanted a trouble free, reliable golf cart with a few specific options.- increased speed, charge meter, striping, club canopy/protector.
Thoroughbred builts primarily highly customized carts for residents of the nearby barrier islands where golf carts are used as primary transportation. Building an almost standard cart for me was very easy for them.
I dealt with David Lutz, the general manager. He listened to what I wanted, found me a 2012 used cart, and did a ground up rebuild just the way I wanted it built. I was treated great, all calls were returned, the work was done right and on time.
I am very happy with my new golf cart, and would not hesitate to recommend Thoroughbred golf cart for anything related to golf carts.
