2 1/2 year old Child had food and egg allergy. Food was prepared and sent by family daily.  child would come home famished and began to loose weight as well as regress with potty training and other educational skills he had acquired (counting, color recognition, alphabets etc.).  visited school during lunch to see what was going on.  Kids given 15 minutes to eat.  Observed child just sitting looking at other children and not touching his food.  He was not encouraged to eat nor assisted in doing so by staff.  When the matter was brought to the attention of the director, she asked "what should we do feed him".  Separate incident-child was being picked up by aunt (first time), when she arrived they were all outside in the play area.  Aunt reported walking into the entrance and having her nephew run to her.  Aunt called out for an adult as she saw none inside and could not locate a sign out sheet.  Seeing no one Aunt ventured in the direction from which her nephew came and ended up outside where several adults were seated watching children at play.  Aunt announced that she was here to pick up (childs name) and was told by who she now knows is nephews teacher "I figured it was someone he knew".  As Aunt reentered the building to leave she was met by another parent and shared what had just happened.  The parent said "oh they do that all the time when Ms. Pam is not here"  When Ms. Pam was confronted with this and other issues of concern she became defensive of her staff and suggested that child may not be a good fit for this particular day care program.
