I cannot recommend Dunedin Refrigeration more highly. This is a family owned business with all its own workers. Everyone from the owners, to the office staff, to the installers is professional and courteous. The owners, Marianne and Mike Bowman, recommended a new Carrier system. It was a two-day installation in the hottest of weather. Because my old system had totally broken down, Marianne and Mike found a way to move me up on their full schedule. The installers, Ray and Mason, worked in a super-heated attic and out in the sun, efficiently and thoroughly, explaining everything I needed to know as they proceeded. The city inspected the work within two days and signed off on the permit. Then, Dunedin Refrigeration sent in their own follow-up tech, Terry, who looked at the installation and recommended the installation of another return vent and some different ducting. When I asked the cost, he said "nothing additional;" it's part of the installation. That work was completed on July 13th by Jarrod and Chris and the system is functioning beautifully. It was done quickly, efficiently and neatly. If you are looking to install a new AC/heating unit, use this firm!

Company was very responsive and able to schedule my appointment to fit my schedule. The technician, Peter, arrived on time. He was working in my non-air conditioned garage where it was very hot and very humid. He was very thorough in his inspection of my air handler. He diagnosed the problem, returned to the shop for parts, returned and replaced the plugged drain line. He also inspected and performed some maintenance on pump. Not only did he clean up after himself but he cleaned up after me! I am very impressed with both the company and Peter and wouldn't hesitate to recommend both.

They very courteous, on time, and were dependable. They are a family owned business, and their good service is often hard to find in Florida.

I had 4 different people come and give me the estimate, but I worked with Dunedin Refrigeration because they had the same system for a cheaper price. They had the best quality for the best price. All other competitors were offering the same model for $2000 more, but I felt their price was good. They did a good job; they were quick and explained every thing. The owner of the company came to check the building, then the city inspector came and they passed in everything, so I guess they knew everything about what they were doing.

They came at the time they said they would. They were responsive to my phone call. They did the installation in one day. They cleaned up after themselves well. They installed a Carrier Infinity 16 ton.

I was impressed with them. Their customer service is great. They brought window air conditioners to us until they could get the unit put in. They were courteous and professional.

Better than expected since it was March and the weather was just starting to get warm. Add a new born baby that they had to work around so as to not wake her up. I went with DR based on the estimate, financing and the fact that they're right around the corner from my home. I had originally contacted them about moving an existing outdoor compressor. Due to its age and that they would guarantee that it would still work after the move plus the mold smell every time the air handler came on, I decided to have them quote a new system. Its been six months and no problems.

The experience was incredible. It was way beyond any expectation. They are very honest and have excellent workmanship. He gave me an estimate and it was firm. When the men went up to my attic they noticed the ductwork was substandard and never put in correctly to begin with. He sent a crew out and they completely replaced it at no charge to me! He said for the size of my system I needed much larger ductwork. He gave me an estimate and stuck to it even though the unexpected occurred. That to me is amazing. The owner even personally came out to see how liked my new system. It doesn't get better than that! I have referred him and will continue to.

They did a great job. They were complete, they were attentive whenever we had any kind of issue or question. They made sure they got everything was finished on time. The owner was here six or eight times which really demonstrates some real interest. They do it right.

They have one particular service representative named Bill who is very rude. He is curt and does not allow the customer to explain the issues/concerns. I also have had issues with him saying one thing and then doing another. I switched providers after receiving a complaint from a tenant who was very put off by this man. I did notify the company and they admitted his customer service skills needed work. That was about two years ago. I recently called them for service again only because the unit I had an issue with had been installed by them in 2004, but after having to deal with this man again whose customer service skills have not improved I called what has now become my main company instead (found through Angie's List) and had them perform my service. So while this company has provided good service in years past, they seem to have some customer service issues now.

The new A/C unit was replaced in July, too hot for them to get in the attic and replace the ductwork. They did an outstanding job on removing the old unit and installing the new. We found that poor seals on the returns were preventing the new unit from cooling the house effectively. The salesman went up in the 110 degree attic himself and taped up the returns to get us thru the rest of the summer. They came back in the fall and replaced the ductwork. Again, an outstanding job. And the ductwork was a big job especially since our attic has very little clearance. They may have underbid that one a little bit but they didn't try to charge more. I would definitely hire them again.

They were very clean and they did the work in good time. They were very efficient. Everything is perfect.

We were very happy with the estimate process, the quality of the work, the time spent on calibrating the system to deliver the right amount of air to each room, and the time frame for the job--exactly as promised.

On time, clean and polite. Would definitely use again.

From start to finish I was extremely impressed by everyone from this company that I dealt with. So much so that I sent a letter of appreciation to them commenting on the professionalism shown by everyone I dealt with. I have used them for service for several other properties I own and I feel they have always offered me the best advice. I very much recommend them!

THEY EVEN REMOVED AN OLD FURNACE LEFT IN THE ATTIC BY THE PRIOR HOMEOWNER.

I have used Dunedin Refrigeration for over three years. When I had noticed problems with my a/c, I called them to come out, in which they assessed the problem (I needed a new air handler) and then told us it was under warranty! They were and always, reliable, prompt and professional. And in over three years, they continue to have the same staff! Their employees have worked there for years. I highly recommend Dunedin Refrigeration for the outstanding work, which is always reviewed by the owner.
