I got quoted for replacing a 16' wall and replacing chimney cap and sheathing around the chimney. After just two year we had water damage in the brand new wall. And come to find out they only replaced 12' instead if the 16' that they were paid for as well as not changing the sheathing around the chimney. On the wall they left the old bottom plate attached with old rotten sheathing still on it. And butted up new stuff right to the rotted sheathing. I called him on the issues and was told they only warranty for 2 years(but this was from not doing work they were paid for) and that he would still come by and look at it since he passes right by on his way home every day. And waited and waited now can't get a return call. As well as the workers not being there half the time. And all this work was done without pulling a permit witch I was not aware of.

They were hired for replacing a 16' wall that was water damaged. When they did the job they did not pull a permit. Witch I did not know until after they said they were finished. They took forever to finish. Not showing up a lot of the days. Within a couple of years we found they really only replace 12' and left rotten sheathing on the bottom plate with new sheathing butted right up to it not attached at all. We have had to fix leaks constantly. When we found what they hid I contacted and asked them to come by and see what had been done. He said he drives by the job everyday and would stop by. And after that couldn't get a hold of him or a return call. And I still see home pass by our place all the time.
