They cleaned the tile in our entire house while it was empty before we moved in. They chipped one of the tiles in the kitchen. They representative out  they wanted to patch it, I told them that I have new tile they could use to replace the chipped tile. He said he would have to check with his manager and I never heard from them again. They're price was pretty expensive as well.

For the price, the service rendered was sub-standard.  The cleaner, Marco, was supposed to clean cream colored carpet that was heavily trafficked only in certain areas, so I asked him to concentrate on only those areas.  He pre-sprayed the areas, but as he was going around with the long vacuum, he simply went over it quickly once and kept going,not looking to see if the area was really cleaned.  I had to instruct him to go over the areas AGAIN.  In the end, he left the areas in front of two barca loungers lighter, but not really cleaned.  For what I paid, I am NOT satisfied with the level of work.

Also, the truck had no catch basin for the dirty water and soapy, dirty water was running down the driveway and into the street.  I'm sure my neighbors didn't appreciate that as neither did I.  When I asked Marco about it, he simply shrugged and said, "So?"  Like that's the was it's supposed to be.  Last year, I used Stanley Steemer and a very nice man came and spent 3 hours steam cleaning.  When he left, my rugs looked brand new.  So, this year, I requested the same man.  Five minutes before arrival, the office called and said he was unavailable and unless I wanted to wait an extra day, Marco would substitute.  Naturally, I assumed that all the cleaners were alike so I agreed.  Marco finished in 2 hours.  Also, he kept asking me if I wanted additional sprays for the chair and I kept saying no.  I felt like he was trying to push up what was already a high price.

Between the disgusting water left in my driveway, the ridiculous price, the still dirty spots in front of the barca loungers and the hard sell, suffice to say I will not be using them ever again.

Selected them because of their coupon.First they ,issed their appointment time, arrived late. When they finally got here they quoted me a price that was double comparable estimates.  Almost $400 for cleaning a sectional couch...I elected to ask them to leave and have hired another company, also from Angies List for much much less.

Called Stanely Steamer one morning to schedule an appointment to clean my air ducts.  They gave me a price for just the ducts and the ducts and airhandler. Was advised that the technicians would be there between noon and 2PM.  Two technicians arrived at 12:15 PM.  They blicked the vents so the dust would not come into the house and started that process.  The second individual cleaned the air handler which had some mold.  They then went room by room and used a process to further knock the dust from the sides of the ducts and finally used an air freshener.  It took approximately 2 1/2 hours  which was the time estimated on the phone and when they arrived.  The technicians explained the process they were going to follow thoroughly and worked steadily the entire time here.  They answered questions I had.  The air in the house is much improved and my allergies have abated.  I would highly recommend them.  I plan to have them every five years or so.  My house is 40 years old and I am sure the ducts were never cleaned before.

Total price charged for initial day's work and leaving drying equipment: $1248.55 Total price charged for last day's work, including carpet clean and reinstall baseboards, etc.   $350.00 The company responded to this emergency on the  same day called. (I am not resident in the house in question). After getting the price estimate ($1248.55) over the phone upon company rep arrival onsite and inspection, credit card authorization for that amount was required from me before work began; the charge was processed that same day.  However, the estimate given for the work turned out to be for the first phase only, i.e., inspection,water extraction process through putting drying equipment in place, removal of baseboards, etc.  Only afterwards was I advised that restoration work on the back end involved additional charge.  When I asked the work supevisor what that restoration work would entail, he told me that based on the damage that one of the workers had reported, including damaged wall, the estimate for the restoration work was $1500.  I questioned this estimate based on visual inspection by other indiviuals known to me who were onsite at the house who advised me that there was no additional damage and all that remained to be done was reintsall the baseboards, etc..  The work supervisor then indicated he would go back to the house and inspect himself; after doing so he told me that there was not $1500 of restoration work needed but rather $400 needed.  He later lowered the price to be charged to $350.  With respect to one part of that restoration that was problematic and questioned, a worker did come back to correct it. While I appreciate the above price revision, my belief is that it would not have occurred had I not challenged the estimate.  Also, it was difficult to obtain information as to scheduling, findings on inspection, obtaining invoices reflecting paid, etc.,  as I had to initiate all contacts.  I felt like I had to stay on top of the company all the time.

"In the initial dealings for this emergency service, our company responded within an hours time to meet with the resident (an elderly woman and her aid, who spoke very little English). After a thorough inspection, we informed the homeowner of the cost of services to dry out her home only, totaling $1,248.55. This cost to include removal of saturated, non-salvageable items, perform extraction of water, install equipment to dry the home, and return every day to monitor the area until the home was completely dry. We were asked to explain the process and deal with her son who is out of state. All of the details of what services our company was prepared to complete were then explained again, and approved of by the son. He requested to pay by credit card, which then took a couple hours of our time between the first credit card denial, the forms not being returned and finally getting the charge and authorization forms returned correctly. Meanwhile, two of my employees stayed at the property with the homeowner awaiting approval to commence work. We then offered the repair services to the son and explained in detail that there would be additional charges. It was explained that the baseboard and carpet pad would be replaced, all walls and trim painted, and the carpets kicked back and cleaned for a total of $1,500.00. When he was not happy with this price, he requested that the room not be painted, and just the old baseboard be reinstalled and carpet put back. In trying to assist the customer, we agreed to do the minor repairs for $350.00. With regards to the initial repair estimate, all items that were discussed with the son of the homeowner were to be completed for the price quoted, however when asked to do a lesser job, we adjusted the price accordingly. We do not charge over and above for a job the needs to be done. Our pricing is based on insurance industry pricing, as is our estimating software program. All documentation was sent to the customer upon completion of the job as on all of our contracts. We cannot sent documentation until we are complete with monitoring, and repairs of the home, especially with photo documentation completed from start to finish."

We have always been very satisfied with their service. You could probably arrange for a carpet cleaning within a day or two, if you call. They will move the furniture for you. They only ask you to move small items that could fall and break. The carpet can take up to 24 hours to dry, though it can dry faster than that.

I was quite pleased with them. I spent less than $100 on that job and they were very nice. I get a lot of fliers in the mail from them and I used them. They did what they had to do, were careful and meticulous. They took their shoes off when they came in and wore paper booties. They were on time and were professional, and if they missed something they went over it again.

Worst experience ever! Damaged the paint on several walls in my home which were painted a week earlier. Left without telling us they had damaged the walls. When confronted about the damaged walls, they said, "They forgot to tell us." Called and spoke to the assistant maganger, Ernie Santiago, who told me that if I had some paint that I could repaint the wall. Then asked to speak to the manager, Marco Vega, and Mr. Santiago said that he did not know when he would be in. Had to call their corporate headquarters. Avoid at all cost!!!

Rosie gave me an estimate over the phone of $199 for the vents plus $350 for the unit. I called two other Angie's List companies, and this was the lowest estimate. Rosie was very nice and didn't rush me off the phone like the other two companies and that's basically why I went with Stanley Steamer. However, the estimate she said she would send me by email did not arrive. I called the next day to ask for it again, but it still did not arrive. The crew came that afternoon and they did provide me with an estimate prior to beginning work. It was more expensive because I got the custom filter and the mold killer. I would have thought the mold killer should be included as it is kind of the point. The crew came within the time frame given. Alex cleaned the air vents and Roberto serviced the air conditioner. Roberto showed me the parts he was cleaning before and after. He was professional, hard working, and meticulous. He did an excellent job. It is difficult to judge the cleaning of the air vents because I could not actually see inside and there was no test to show the difference. It would be nice if they had a camera or something to show you what had been done. I can say that Alex was personable and was careful not to make a mess. I also appreciated that he sold me the items I needed or wanted and not anything I didn't.
