This is my first time giving any business a negative review but I felt this one was warranted. In January this year, we used Paramount movers to move from Florida to Los Angeles. Though our items were picked up and delivered within the time frame, the unfair business tactics and horrible and rude customer service left us angry and frustrated and cost us more than $1000 from the original contract. I am sharing the tips from my experience below to save you the frustration and agony. You should specifically watch out for the following items: 1. Do not sign the contract until a field officer comes and physically inspect your items or requests the photos & dimensions of each item you are planning to move and you have proof of the estimation calculation. They quote a low price to get into the contract binding with 40% or more payment upfront using improper estimation of the shipment items and square footage to subsequently raise the cost before the move.
