5/13 Told we needed a new a/c and ducts. We bought "the Ferrari" of Lennox a/c's with the 7 year service plan--so we are stuck with them. 5/14- new a/c installed worked nice with old ducts 5/15- New ducts installed. 5/16- No air running to the office. Warm in the back of the house 5/18- Called and complained: Another technician replaced some vents and closed others telling us not to open them. He also said that he turned the humidity lower(that it had been too high); When it hovered at 64% I checked the unit and found that the dehumidifier had been turned off. 5/19- Called again- So I’m questioning why did we pay almost $6000 for new ducts if they have to(permanently) close one of the vents in the living room as well as close the vent over the thermostat. The tech had also said that I still have to close the vents in the back room to get any air to the bedrooms. The old crappy a/c ran far better and removed more humidity. The humidity sits between 60% and 70% when online it says it should be around 50%. It doesn’t matter what the dehumidifier setting is on. Asked for a manager. Theoretically, one came out. He found that the tech had literally turned the humidifier off of the a/c, and he had set it up cool and heat even though we had told him to turn it to only cool. He also set it for the fan not to turn off instead of auto. The most disturbing thing was that he completely taped the vents over the bar area in the living room and the vent over the thermostat with duct tape . The manager says that they didn’t put the right ducts leading to the vents in and someone will call on 5/21 to replace and set it up. 5/22- Texted the "manager" because no one called. They rescheduled for 5/26. 5/26- They called and cancelled and rescheduled for 5/28.

When the technician, Sasha, arrived I explained that I need a new cooling system excluding ducts and that it should be approximately 16 SEER with 2 speed fan. Sasha viewed the closet where the air handler would be installed. I thought it odd he didn't measure closed dimensions. He went outside to view the area where the compressor would be installed. He never looked at the electrical box to verify breakers were correct size. Never looked at attic ducts. He came back inside and ran a few calculations on his calculator. He raised his calculator and to my surprise the figure was greater than $14,500. I thought I misread the display so I took a step closer. Greater than $14,500! He said a Lenox system costs a little more. He wouldn't provide a written estimate. I told Sasha to leave immediately. I've since had 2 additional estimates, both close to $5,500. If you request an estimate from Service Experts and Sasha shows up at your door, be very, very cautious.

It went well.  For the past two years, we had used Total Comfort and they were out here all of the time. They had told me repeatedly that I needed a new A/C.  We had a contract with them because they had always done right by my daughter.  It turns out, the guy that came yesterday was the guy that put the A/C in in 2012.  The problem was the uv light which helped get rid of organisms.  Apparently, they just let the mold grow.  I had gone up in the attic on Sunday before the new guy came and saw that the guys from Total Comfort had written obnoxious things by and on the stickers from American Air which is now Service Experts.(A--holes, bull sh--, etc.)

Overall, the experience was good.  They showed up on time, the product is good, and the installation went well, however, they were a little sloppy.  I had to clean up after them more than I would’ve wanted to.

Have used Service masters since they bought wilson's air a couple of years ago. The transition was smooth. They show up on time or have called well in advance when running late (This has only happened once). the techs are clean respectful and professional. They replaced a broken part under warranty with no issues. They call to remind you about your service. They do not use high pressure to try to sell you something you don't want. Asked if we were satisfied with the tech that serviced us the last time. Spoke to people not some recording. Treated like as customer not just a number. Would reccomend to others.

They gave me a day where they would come out for two or three more service calls. They recommended having my whole unit replaced. He wasn't overly persistent about it, but he did suggest it. I decided not to. They were prompt and professional, but pricey.

I was advised that compressor would be unavailable for 5-7 days. I located compressor on line that could have been here in much shorter time-(2 days). When ask why they could not obtain that unit I was told that they could only use certain suppliers. I was furnished a portable room A/C for some relief. I sent an email to the corporate office in Texas to complain about this method of restricting the local branch. The next day I received a call saying the compressor was ready and installation would be done that day. When the technicians arrived another trouble shooting process determined that the only problem existing was that a wire was shorted out. Obviously I was very unhappy with the fact that the problem was incorrectly diagnosed in the first place causing us to be in considerable discomfort for several days. Add to that the discrepancy in when a replacement compressor would be available. Additionally it had been my feeling that over the years several charges had been grossly inflated and a certain degree of non-professionalism had existed. I wrote a letter to the local office expressing my displeasure and they choose not to respond in any way. I felt that they should have at least responded to say they were sorry I was unhappy but they didn't. My Service contract which was due for renewal was dropped and my services are now being handled by a small local company called Comfort Service. It was highly recommended by several residents in the Manufactured Home Community where I live. Since I feel the company has been operated by more than one owner I can't place all the blame for my unhappiness on Wilson's but the accumulation finally was just too much. I just felt like I could no longer trust "Service Experts" as a company I wanted to do business with.

The men that came to our home were very professional and neat. They really seemed to know what they were doing.
