They have been in business for 32 years. I had a toilet that did not flush properly and I thought it needed a new flap. The plumber from Plumbing Experts inspected it and told me that I needed a whole new mechanism and that it would cost me around $200. I told him that rather than spend that kind of money I would just get a new toilet. They gave me a quote for a new toilet which came to around $500. After comparing with another store I realized that Plumbing Experts were charging exorbitantly. They did explain to me over the phone before they came out that they charge by what is done, and not by the hour. The job was for either repairing the mechanism of the toilet or getting a new toilet. I said I was not interested, and he proceeded to write an invoice for a full service fee. I reminded him that I had a $32 coupon of theirs, and he corrected it to show that. I paid him the service fee less the coupon. I wanted to report about him to the Better Business Bureau, but I never got around to it. I had gotten a handyman to put a new flapper, and it has been working fine for over a year now. Plumbing Experts was a complete rip-off. I had also met another woman who had a bad experience with Plumbing Experts.

We could hear water running in the pipes but there was no indication of water leakage in the house, so we started going through the phonebook to find a plumber who could come out and do a leak detection. Unfortunately it was a Friday night and most of the plumbers could not come out until Monday. The Plumbing Experts were able to come out the next day and arrived exactly at the time scheduled. They detected the leak in a very short period of time and we scheduled the repair for Monday. Again, they arrived on time and began digging the hole in the foundation slab to get to the pipe. The leak was exactly where they detected it so damage to our floor was minimized. It turns out the pipe was galvanized steel and could not be repaired without significant damage to the floor so it was decided to re-run the pipe through the attic and we scheduled the work for the next day. They arrived the next day on time and began work. In the end we had to run all new piping throughout because all the plumbing in the house branched off of the original broken pipe. This was a very expensive repair but turned out to be covered by my homeowner's insurance. The plumber spoke to the insurance representative on the phone prior to starting work and received the approval to begin and he met with the adjustor the next day. They also fixed several other plumbing problems created by the previous owner's attempts at DIY repairs at no additional charge. The plumber was very neat and organized...in fact when I had the drywall contractor in to repair the walls that had to be opened to install the pipes, he commented on how neat and professional the work was. The plumber also took the time to explain everything to me in great detail so that I understood exactly what needed to be done and also offered less expensive alternatives.

They came out and I paid extra for weekend rates both times, which I agreed to as I work during the week. Both times it was pricey but I liked the tech and the work was high quality. If I could have them come during the week and pay regular rates it would be great! Overall it was expensive-but worth it.

They sent a technician out that day to make sure my self diagnosis was correct. We confirmed the measurements of the new water heater, agreed on a time the next morning and the price, including an extra length warrenty. He arrived exactly on time and replaced the water heater in the estimated time to complete. I gave him a check and the transaction was complete. I was well satisfied with their professionalism.

I was charged a 49.00 fee which was explained to me as a truck supply fee, which was not applied to the cost of the repair. He quoted me prices from a book which his company had printed. During the estimate his prices constantly changed as I asked questions. Finally to expedite matters I opted just to have the one toilet repaired instead of the multiple jobs I wanted done. To his credit, he did the work in record time and was finished in ten minutes.

He was honest in not trying to do work that wasn't needed. He couldn't really verify that we had a problem. That was nice of him. I would hire him again in the future if needed.

They did a great job. Everything went fine. They showed up on time. They did the work.

The job was done on a timely basis and had several interruptions along the way because of cell phone calls seeking this plumbers advise. The work was expensive even though I supplied most of the parts. A copper drain line was used to replace the old copper drain line, which I felt was not necessary, escalating the price even further. No other options were open for consideration. Two days after work was completed the sink was filled to wash dishes and when it was drained the water came gushing out of the drain pipe creating a mess in the cabinet and on the floor. Since it was Sunday a call was made to this company. The person who answered the phone happened to be the owner as I later found out. He didn't think it was urgent enough, so The original plumber was dispatched for Monday. The sink could not be used from that point on. First thing on Monday the plumber returned and determined that one of the soldered connections was not complete and the leak was now fixed. The mess was cleaned and he made no apologies and just said goodbye. My expectation was that I was hiring an" EXPERT" and while I think I paid a large sum of money I did not get what a professional should command for this kind of work. I feel slighted by this company and probably would have dismissed this whole incident had an apology been made by anyone,including the owner as to the stress and inconvenience there shoddy workmanship caused me. How can they expect to treat there customers like this and remain in business. I will strongly discourage there company to anyone who may be in need of a plumbing recommendation.

It went very well. He is courteous and kind. They are very respectful, and reliable. You do not mind having these people in your home doing the work that needs to be done.

He gave me an estimate of over $1000 which I thought was preposterous. He had fixed prices per fixture in a book. I asked how long it would take to do this and he said about 2 hours. I said how about a break on the price, so he lowered it to $1000 even. I said no, and had to pay him $75 for the estimate just to get rid of him. I think this was outrageously high.

They were able to find the leak. The gentleman that came out were professional and accommodating.
