We had several companies come out to give us quotes on a whole house generator system. After narrowing it down to Reliable and one other one as the most professional, we choice Reliable even though they were a little more expensive. I just got a better feeling from them than the other one. Turns out I made a great choice. Reliable did an amazing job in installing my generator and Propane Tank and everything went perfectly. I can be a challenging customer and they were very accomodating and understanding of all my questions and input throughout the process. I was very impressed when they were able to get my propane tank installed, inspected and filled back in all in a single day. Couple of small glitches with the permitting process, but that is not unexpected with a project like this. They obviously had great relationships with the inspectors which shows that they always do good work. I was very impressed with their workmanship and professionalism throughout the process. I fully expected my whole back yard to be a disaster and need to be resodded, but their equipment operators were so good the only sod I had to replace was over the hole that was dug for the propane tank. I can truly recommend Reliable with no reservations! Posting this review has been on my list for several months so unfortunately I can't remember all the names of the guys that worked on my project, but I am certain all of their crews are of the same caliber!

This company goes under two names which is shady. Reliable aka sun electric works is anything but reliable they are very unprofessional and a full on waste of your time and energy. Don't give these people your money. Call someone else who actually cares to do their job.

"Thank you for your feedback, and we are sorry that you feel this way, but there are some inaccuracies in this review I need point out. Reliable Electrical Services is simply a d/b/a of Sun Electric Works, Inc. (our parent corporation, not a 2nd name) and this practice is not shady, illegal, or unethical. It is common practice in business to have a parent corporation and d/b/a names for the different entities of the company. We operate our electric division under Reliable Electrical Services and have been in business for 17 years now. I understand your frustration that we had to reschedule your service call and we do care about you and all of our customers. Unfortunately, we had no choice but to reschedule the visit due to some scheduling conflicts and manpower issues for this past Monday. This information was provided to you on your voicemail on Friday at 4:22pm, 2 days before the appointment. We then called you at 8:01am Monday morning, just 1 minute after we opened the office to let you know again that we would need to reschedule. In addition, the dispatcher that called you on Friday offered you a discount as an apology for needing to reschedule the call. Lastly, our Service Manager Stephen left 2 voicemails at your home on Monday and emailed you in order to provide a quick solution to the rescheduling issue, but you did not take the call nor call us back at the office as requested. Again, we truly do apologize for having to reschedule your call, but we did give advance notice and also offered a discount to make up for this need to reschedule. If you would like to discuss this further, or take advantage of the discounted service call, please call Stephen at the office and he will see that you are taken care of as quickly as possible."

From the initial meeting with a sales rep. from Reliable, it was a joy. I got 4 estimates of which 2 did not send back. Reliable has been incredible. Thru the whole process this company was on the ball. They take care of permitting, and their teams that came out were clean, efficient, and from start to finish it took 2 weeks. It would have taken less, but the city held up inspections. I want to thank Ashley, Scott, Winston, Jermaine, and all the other departments for making this job so smooth. I highly recommend this company.

To say this company is top notch is a gross understatement. Their customer service and quality blows away any other company. From the initial estimate to the follow-up calls, Reliable Power has it all covered. I wouldn't hesitate a second to recommend any service performed by Reliable. After Hurricane Irma, my husband and I vowed we would never be without power again. We committed to purchasing a whole house generator, but of course the question is from whom. What company could we trust? After reading online and talking to neighbors, we knew Reliable Power was on our short list. After the initial in-person estimate by Chris, I was impressed by their responsiveness and attention to detail. Rob personally oversaw our plans to ensure the most efficient quality installation. Jennifer and Alberto managed the permitting and the HOA paperwork submission (THANK YOU! I dread having to collect all that information!). Jennifer maintained constant communication throughout the process, and Albert texted me status updates on the permitting (with my permission and request to do so). As we approached install day, Kaela sent me detailed notes on what to expect and had clear and professional communication. When I called to speak to her, she was so friendly and an absolute delight to speak with. Here's where I was really blown away, hands down blown away: Day off installation, I was worried about losing power for an excessively long time because I have a young daughter and work from home. No power means I can't work, and no power means not a lot of access to my daughter's needs. I expressed my concern and while not a big deal by any means, Dave (installer) made it his mission for us to be without power for the least amount of time possible. He so impressed me with his planning and understanding of my concern that he was able to only need to shut down our power for minutes, not hours. It just got better from there. Jennifer mentioned to me that a team would be doing yard restoration. Sure, I thought. Restoration. They'll probably patch up the holes and be on their way. No, not Reliable Power. They resodded and re-mulched my yard and flower beds. Even my husband was fully blown away. It was like they were never even there. I can't express how happy and delighted I was that there was one fewer thing I needed to do than restore my yard to its previous state. There is no detail that this company doesn't cover. Frank came out a few days later to set up the generator and give me a tutorial. He stayed longer than necessary to answer my general power questions and educate me on how power flows to the plant to my house. Then, Angie (in conjunction with Germaine) called me to introduce her and her team and to let me know she would be following up with me (with my permission) for the yearly maintenance and general reminders about warranties. I don't write a lot of reviews, but this company and their team warrant an exceptional commendation for the operation they are running. And last but certainly not least, their fees were honest, clear, and comparable to their competitors. While I'm a huge believer in you get what you pay for, I didn't have to overpay for exceptional service. There is a such a huge relief in knowing my kids and my family will be comfortable not just with another big storm but with any power outage. Thank you to the Reliable team for bringing that security to us!

All they did was run a wire in the attic for the generator that has nothing connected to it at either end and left it there. They did change the ceiling lights that I supplied. They never ran a new circuit in the bedroom. They just took out the switch that was there and put a double switch in its place. That took 6 hours. They then said they would be back the next day to finish. After not hearing from them for 3 months, they call wanting to finish the job. I said I was no longer interested in them doing any work for me. Now they want me to pay a large bill for work they didn't do or didn't finish.

I had a very wonderful experience with Frank and the installation team which included to name a few Brian, Pat and Mr. Treasure who were there on time; courteous and polite, kept me informed as to what they would be doing and when; entertained my many questions, displayed excellent work ethic and superb knowledge and experience in all their tasks throughout the day. I was very lucky to have gotten this team after another client cancelled on short notice. I found Frank very knowledgeable and asked for him to be my startup Technician(which was standard) . I had very little downtime with my power and was advised every time it would be off. I would like to state I had contacted quiet a few other companies(because that's what you are suppose to do) and only had Reliable come out to the house to do a survey; after meeting with Chris(salesperson) that was it. I realized not only did they have the experience doing Generac and other generator for years; they were on top of everyone else who was in the business. I must say in that in the end it was the other amazing 4/5 star reviews online like mine that sealed the deal. Than you Reliable I will most definitely be using your services again. Frank L. 03/07/17
