They were excellent.  They were extremely responsive.

Based on the reviews on Angies List, I decided to try this company even though they did not list the citywhere the condo was located in their coverage area, and stated they would probably have to charge extra for the half-mile trip each way.  I felt that was fair.  I called them back with the dimensions, the interaction was pleasant and direct, and we made an appointment.   On that day, about a half-hour before the agreed-upon time, I received a call from "Mike" confirming I would be there when he arrived.  I told him I was on my way and could get there in about 15 minutes; he said he'd be there, too.  Other than being misled by his GPS and ending up around the corner, he arrived right on my heels, and promptly went to work.  He was pleasant, professional, and quick.  We were very satisfied and felt that the add-on charge for travel was fair. I would definitely recommend this company.

I called Davie Glass as they were recommended by Angie's list.  They couldn't schedule the job for a week.  The serviceman was about 1/2 hour late to the appointment.  The pane replacement itself was good.  However, he was in such a hurry he accidentally punched whole in the window screen.  Price seemed a bit high for such a small job.  When my husband returned with the receipt it was for some other job/person and didn't reflect the price that we had paid.

I would highly recommend Davie Glass based on my experience with them.

They did very good work. The job was done well. I would recommend them.

When I called for an estimate they said they couldn't get out for two days, which was all right for me as the as this was not something I had to get done immediately. The estimator told me they would email me a quote by the end of the day. I am still waiting for the quote even after waiting for another 3 days for it to get sent.
I ended up going with another company The Original Frameless Shower Doors who were superb in their timing and craftsmanship.

We had a vanity light fixture in the middle of our large mirror in our master bath that was outdated (house built in 1999 for us) and we wanted it replaced.  Our electrician found that the builder really cut corners and instead of properly mounting the box in a hole in the mirror, ended up gluing the fixture on to the mirror!  UNBELIEVABLE!  He warned us they if he removed it, there was a good chance the mirror would crack.  Since the same thing happened in our second bathroom and he was able to remove that fixture (which was glued and taped on!) without incident, we were feeling lucky so told him to proceed.  Of course, he was right, the giant mirror cracked.  As Murphy's Law would have it, the small mirror which would have been a helluva lot cheaper was fine and the giant one had to break instead!  Ha-Ha!   We called Davie Glass and they were great.  Came out and measured (they too couldn't believe how the light fixture was adhered to the mirror) and ordered the mirror.  They called us when it came in to schedule the install and did a great job!  Clean, fast and very professional.  The price turned out to be awesome too!  A co-worker who had a friend in the "glass business" got us a quote of $1200, but the guy was going to give us his" friends & family" rate of $900!  We almost fell off our chairs.  Davie Glass was only $435 - less the Angie's List discount of 5%.  Such a bargain after hearing the other price --- unless that other mirror was lined in 14 kt. Gold...Ha-Ha!  We'd definitely use Davie Glass again and would highly recommend them.

Very, very good experience. They were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. I actually paid less than what had been estimated, which made me happy. I would definitely recommend them for anyone who needs to repair/replace glass.

Mike was punctual and friendly. He explained what he was going to do before starting the job. The window looks perfect.

The provider was prompt and professional.  He gave me a price and followed up via the internet with a contract.  The problen started when I called the office and spoke with one of the owners.  I requested a price for clara vista glass doors made by PPG.   The owner laughed and said that no one made shower doors out of clara vista glass.  She said the individual I talked to about the glass didnt know what they were talking about and that I should google it.  I then asked her to give me a price on a special coating that would keep the glass cleaner longer.  She never called me back.  And, I did google it and yes indeed Caravista glass is available for shower doors.
Several weeks later, after I did order a shower door in Claravista glass, she sent me an email and wanted to know if I was still interested in their original offer.  Not a word about the special coating that I asked for. 
Also, I was informed that they had bought Davie glass 4 to 5 years ago, so they are relatively new owners,  Needless to say I will no longer doing business with Davie Glass.

My service was simple but much appreciated.  I was referred to Davie Glass and Mirror by another store.  I needed to have glass cut to replace a window pane.  I was not aware of the distance from my hardware store to Davie but decided to drive there thinking it wouldn't be to far.  Unfortunately it was not close and I arrived 10 minutes before closing.  I explained my story to "Stack" who advised me that his cutter had already left for the day and he would only be able to take the order and call me the next day for pick up.  As I didn't have another place to try and because I was already there, I agreed.  To make a long story short, Stack realized the distance and was nice enough to cut the glass himself, saving me a return trip.  To quote him, "you will end up spending more in gas than for the glass, if you have to return.  I will cut it myself."
All I can say is Thank you Stack.  Happy ending to a problematic day!

I found the company on your list.  When I called them, they were prompt in replying with an excellent price.  There was a question regarding low iron glass which they were able to describe and explain in an easy way of understanding the difference in cost.  Every contact with them was efficient.

I called on a Thursday morning and asked if they could repair a sliding glass door. The answer was yes. I then asked if the door could be fixed by the end of the next day, Friday. The answer was again yes. The door was delivered around the middle of the day on Thursday. I called on Friday and the job was not completed. I called on Monday and the job was not completed. I was promised it would be ready on New Year's day and that I would get a call when finished. The call came at a little after 8:00 am on New Year's day. The work was passable with part of the frame not fitting flat against the glass. In their defense, the door is of poor original construction and is delicate to work with.
Overall they did the job, though timeliness was definitely an issue. If I had another job that had to be done by certain deadline, I'm not sure I would use Davie Glass. For jobs that aren't time sensitive, I would use them again. They delivered for the price quoted and the workmanship was acceptable.

Showed up when expected, were professional and prompt. Dave really seemed to care about making customer happy. No price surprises. I would recommend. Nice to deal with.

I called and made an appointment more than a week before the job because I was moving into a new house.  They called and confirmed the morning of the job and then showed up on time.  They were professional and went to work immediately.  They removed a mirror covering an entire wall and did a fantastic job.  I was worried that any company that removed the mirror would damage the wall in the process, but Davie Mirror & Glass left my wall in paintable condition.  By using them, I avoided the expense of having to replace the drywall.  I highly recommend this company.

DAVIE GLASS HAS SEVERAL BAD REVIEWS ON OTHER WEBSITES, I SHOULD HAVE DONE FURTHER RESEARCH BEFORE HIRING THEM.  

We purchased a shower enclosure from Davie Glass. They took OVER A MONTH to deliver a product that they said would take "a week to 10 days" to be delivered and installed. Three days after the unit was installed, I called them because the door was hitting a corner of the shower and I was concerned the door could shatter-- Although they admitted there is a part that can prevent the door from swinging more than 90 degrees, they refused to come and install it to solve the problem. 

I hired Davie Glass to install a frame-less glass enclosure for the shower in my Master Bathroom.  They came for final measurements on November 5 and told me that the custom made glass would take "a week to 10 days".  They sheduled my installation for November 26, this was a week later than promised, but I was flexible since I understood it was around Thanksgiving.  They then called me the week they were supposed to finally install to let me know there was a problem with my unit (their vendor messed up the measurements) and they re-scheduled for later in the week (Friday Nov 30).  I called them that week to check the status of my unit, they said they would get back to me to confirm or cancel the Friday apointment but didn't call or show up on Friday the 30th.  I called her and expressed my concern about the delay and the fact that I wasn't being properly updated, she apologized and rescheduled tentatively for Monday Dicember 3rd.  After that, there was a SECOND mistake with my order (it was scratched) .....to make the story short, they ended up installing December 10th (almost 5 weeks after the last measurement was taken and almost four weeks after it was supposed to be installed).

Futhermore, it was disconcerning to me that they kept assigning blame and responsibility to their vendor (supplier).  They even used them as an excuse not to give me a discount when I initiallly requested one.  Davie Glass is responsible to me since they are the ones I hired (I don't know who their suppliers are).  When I reminded them that I was planning on reviewing their service and product on Angie's list, they changed their mind and decided to give me a $90.00 discount, which I had to ask for AGAIN.   

Three days after the unit was installed, I called them to tell them that THE DOOR OF THE UNIT WAS HITTING A CORNER OF THE SHOWER WHEN FULLY OPEN (the door swings both ways more than 90 degrees until it stops with the corner), AND THAT I WAS CONCERNED THE DOOR COULD SHATTER. Not only was the owner unhelpful, but VERY DISRESPECTFUL.  I initially thought we were having a friendly conversation, but as I was trying to explain my concern with the door and trying to understand what can be done, he raised his voice and told me to "stop talking" (true story).  After telling me that there is nothing that can be done, I again reminded him of the Angie's list review....he THEN told me there is a part that will stop the door from fully swinging but he refused to come install it for me (he will just mail it to me). 

I want to remind Davie Glass that everything described in this review is 100% truthful and that it is their vendor (supplier) who they should be upset with for taking a month to deliver my unit, not me (I'm only being honest, have been nothing but respectful, not to mention patient).   I believe in second chances and the door is still open for Davie Glass to do the right thing.  I consulted other companies to see what can be done to prevent the door from swinging more than 90 degrees and shattering into the corner in order to familiarize myself with the issue.  I am very fair, and I will update this review IF Davie Glass choses to come, understand the concern, and puts an effort into fixing the issue. 

Additionally, since Davie Glass has now been notified (by phone call and in writting) that the glass door hits a sharp corner of the shower when fully open and refuses to even try remedy the problem (refusing to install a "hinge", and instead mailing it to a customer that cannot properly install it--is not a responsible act), they should consult their attorney to understand what their responsibilities would be IF the door does break with the corner, especially, if God forbit, injures one of the two children living in the home.

Everything was very smooth and professional.

Mirrors were available when promised  - quick turnaround. Quality was rxcellent.
