I don’t think it came to just the $59 special. They found something wrong with the fan and it had to be disinfected. It was good. It was a long time ago and I have trouble remembering what I had to deal with that. I went on Angie’s List for that service. The crew were excellent. It was good, everything was good.

I called early Monday morning and they were at my house by 10:30. Very professional and supper nice. I will continue AMI. Thank you for your quick speedy service!!!

I bought the coupon on the night of 4/31/15 from angie's list. When I woke up the next morning I had a message from the company saying to call them.I called and I'm not sure who I spoke to but she was extremely nice. She told me they would call me back when the tech was next available. Less than an hour later they called and said the tech would be there in less than 30mins. Jorge arrived within that time frame and inspected the a/c unit and found the problem within minutes. He replaced the incorrect part and my a/c was working again in no time.

I called at 8:45AM this morning about my A/C not blowing cold air. We scheduled an appointment for 3PM the same afternoon. They showed up on time and were professional to deal with. They called before they came as well which is always a great thing and makes me feel that we're going to have a pleasant experience. I wasn't there when the service technician arrived because I was at work, but my wife was. We told the service tech the problem was the capacitor [a friend gave us a great tip] and it turns out that we were right. It took the service tech 15min to change the part and maybe another 5min to test the system. The grand total was 20min of work but let's round up to 30min just to be fair. When I got home, I received a final bill for $176.96. I nearly lost my mind. The part costs roughly $18 [online] and the labor cost was $75 for the hour. WHERE DID THE OTHER $84 COME FROM? I expected to see a final bill which itemized the expenses. Instead my wife received a bill with a single charge and no details. This was extremely shady and my wife was taken advantage of. How do I know they removed the $75 charge? I don't. I will never use this company again unless they make it right and refund what they promised.

Very well! Communication with Toni was exceptional. The job was done on the weekend to accomodate my schedule. The men working (Jorge and Albert) worked in torentual rains. They went above and beyond. Overall, there was absolutely nothing that I would criticize. I would definitely recommend AMI Airconditioning Services.

The first time we called for service they sent a tech too late in the day and they could no longer access the roof. We called the next day and they were very appologetic and sent a new tech out the next day to look at our AC. The tech that did our service was very friendly and gave us some suggestions on how to preserve cool temps in the house. We would use them again. Great deal through there coupons for servcie calls.

Initially, we requested a quote and they came right out and performed an inspection and gave us a quote. It took two visits to coordinate the work, but the tech and his helper were very professional. The office staff applied our inspection fee to the price of the job, as promised, and we will be using AMI for our a/c maintenance moving forward.

Everything went GREAT!! Jorge was very friendly, polite and professional. He not only figured out what the problem was, he explained it in detail. We were able to get someone out to the house very quickly, we called that morning and Jorge arrived a few hours later. We used them for service before and now for this problem, we will continue to use AMI, they are great!

They did not miss a detail. Took extra care to do a top notch job. They could have easily skipped over some details, like cleaning out previous debris, but took the extra steps. My salesman, Corey, stopped by and helped out also, making sure everything was perfect. They inserviced me on how to use the new wi-fi thermostat, doing the initial setup. Adam was here on time, he checked system, was professional. Confirmed what we thought, leaking Freon. Filled freon. He wrote an estimate for new system, not because he was wanting to push a new system on us but because i asked him to give us a quote on cost to replace our old system. Unit as of now is running less and is cooling house. We are waiting to see if the Unit continues to service the house or if we need to replace with new, efficient system. If we do replace, we will definitely consider using A M I. I am very satisfied with their service. The only negative was i joined Angie's list to access HVAC Members and their reviews in order to choose reputable dealers with excellent reviews but since i am a new Member, i was not aware of discts and coupons when using their member services. There is a coupon for a disct with A M I when installing a new system but has to be presented with the estimate. I know this is not their responsibility to inform all of their customers of the disct coupon but it would be appreciated by those of us considering replacing whole system. Now i am aware and will be considering all coupons for future service.

Adam was scheduled for my house this afternoon, and arrived around 2. This was amazing to me, as I had put in a panicked call to AMI at 7;45 this morning, hoping to get service within 3 days. I have been with Angies List a long time-long enough to read the reviews and wait, if necessary, for a quality company like AMI to do whatever service was necessary, without unnecessary parts, labor, and the unfortunately all-too-common scam artists that seem to be everywhere. I called Tony to check on the progress toward my job @ 1:30, and she told me I was next. 30 minutes later, Adam showed up and listened to my tale of woe. He went through my attempts at fixing the problem( I am a retired Fire/Rescue Lt;gunshot wounds and heart attacks are my forte, not a/c repair), and quickly undid my foul-ups, fixing the system without delay. He climbed up into the second-floor attic and in a few minutes, fixed the loose wire there, and cleaned out all drains. This is a truly honest company, and if Adam is any indication of the level of expertise this company hires, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR AND AND ALL HVAC ISSUES you may have. Prompt response, expert honest workmanship, and a great price. AMI has it all.

It went very well from start to finish. I needed the units to be replaced relatively quickly as one was on its last leg. They fit me into their schedule, handled expediting the permitting (as much as was possible) and completed the job on schedule. They encountered some surprise access and drainage issues and overcame them without additional time or expense. Dealing with Toni, in the office by phone, and Corey, the estimator and field marshal was easy. The installers were very professional. These are "can-do" people. These might just be the best contractors I have ever dealt with. I would recommend them to anyone.

Jorge was fantastic. He provided the facts, looked for simple repairs that would improve my heating and cooling. Unfortunately, my unit was performing the best it could within specifications, and ten years old. So searching for replacement, hopefully with Jorge.

Adam was very knowledgeable and nice. Did not mind me being there while he did his job. Took the time to do the job right!! Very helpful person when I called to make appointment. Made sure to tell me of the best way to do the Job. .She even told me about there special they had going. Saved me money!!

Our previous provider insisted we need a completely new system as there was no electricity going to one of our units. The estimated cost was $3,700. AMI can in a determined a wire was loose and fixed it immediately. We were very impressed by the service. Special thanks to Corey, professional, competent, and most of all honest about the repair. AMI is the BEST!!!!!

Installation of NEW AC unit went smoothly and everything was working great for a couple of days. Then problems started. The unit would not turn off automatically. They were very responsive and fixed that problem easily. But then I had to use the heater. Long story short, they came out THREE times to fix the heater. The last time they came out, they blamed my electrical panel and wiring. (You would think that if the electricity was an issue, it would have been brought to my attention BEFORE installation.) Not trusting AMI at this point, I paid for TWO electricians and a different AC company to troubleshoot the problem. No-one could figure out what AMI did wrong and there was nothing wrong with the electricity or wiring. Finally I sent AMI and Bard manufacturing an email letting them know that I expect a new unit if the current one could not be fixed. The manufacturing company called Bard, was awesome. They sent a technician who was a 3-hour drive away, on a Sunday no less who diagnosed and fixed the problem within minutes!! Apparently, AMI did not have the high voltage wire installed correctly. So, I can't recommend AMI air conditioning company , I can recommend the Bard manufacturing company.

The company (AMI Air Conditioning) is truly excellent from the moment of the estimate until the last detail when the job was done. Corey and Toni Mullins were very helpful and knowledgeable in every step of the process and the crew who came to my home to perform the job: Alberto, Steve and Kevin knew very well what they were doing and did a very professional, clean and neat task.

Adam arrived, on time, on March 11th. After checking the unit, inside and outside, he determined a valve had to be replaced. It had to be ordered. He returned on the 13th and replaced the part, which took close to 2 hours. He was professional, cleaned up after himself, and my A/C now works perfectly. I would certainly call the company again.

Adam was on time and professional. Very knowledgable and polite. He even gave me some easy Home Depot level improvements I could do to improve my unit's efficiency and save money.

I called to schedule the appointment and they told me that they didn't schedule these Angie's List Big Deals on the weekends. I called and got a refund.
