​Poor service and unprofessional I recently fired ERA after using for 10+ years. Here's what you need to know about them if you're looking for property management services. - Bookkeeping problems: Twice screwed up accounting. 1st time cost me ~$500. 2nd they kept $400+ due to me! Both times management failed notice issue over the several months it was building, I had to catch it during a periodic review. - Poor communications: I often waited more than a week for responses to issues with my property. I didn't appear to communicate well because answers from one would at times contradict issues settled with another. - Unprofessional: Rental department director is a hothead. At least 3 times he escalated conversations over the phone to a shouting match in less than a minute, telling me more than once my concerns were wasting his time. When I asked to contact his supervision, he repeatedly refused to provide contact info. When I fired ERA over the 2nd bookkeeping problem, management turned vindictive. I had to stop them from giving tenant notice to vacate and step in elsewhere when they tried to complicate the management transition. They also kept $200+ of my cash reserve as "management fees" for months after their service terminated with no any contractual basis for charging me. I am now happily paying a bit more to another firm that can keep the accounting straight and responds within a day or two when I contact them. ERA's new property management agreement is heavily tilted in their favor, so be careful about choosing them as it will cost you a lot to leave if you experience problems too.

The rental department has interviewed, checked references, and researched credit history for prosepective tenants for approximatedly 5 years. Their method of referring tenants has been very successful.
Kathy Flinchum real estate sales person has helped us purchase and sell several pieces of property. She is amazing in handling the details. Things go smoothly with Kathy handling them. Will use her in the future.

My experience with Kevin Wright at ERA American Realty was great. I have just had the intitial meeting to discuss selling my home in Fort Walton Beach. He can very well prepared. I think he would do a great job.
